Don't care about the animal, just the money. I carried a stray kitten in there, they told me they would be right back. Come back with a 171.00 bill to emergency neuter the kitten, without any details what soever. The cat is better, but they could have told me what was going on, and about what it costed. Called up there , ask about what kind of medicine I could use for an access on a cats eye. I'll have to bring him in. So they can charge what ever they want. read more

My cat got his tail injured pretty bad last week. The people there had him all fixed up within a few hours. And the price was half what I thought it would be. Staff was super friendly and helpful. They are absolutely the best in the animal doctor business...we took our old cat of 19 years there, he got cancer so there was nothing they could do. We now for the past 4 years have another solid black cat that is great health and a 1 year old Chorkie named Hobie who they love and he loves them, they help me keep him up on his shots and everything. I've been taking my pets to Kinslow Veterinary Clinic for over 20 years, and most often see Dr. Amy Hastings. It's not the newest, fanciest place, but the people are good and they care for your pets. They don't take appointments, so sometimes you may have to wait to be seen when they are busy. That said, it's where I take my dogs and cats! read more

I took my dog here today for the first time and will not return. It was not a good experience. I waited in the waiting room for more than 40 min. The exam was not thorough. They gave my dog an extra vaccine I did not ask for. (They did apologize but it couldn't be undone). I had already clearly said I only wanted rabies today . They gave rabies and distemper. Thankfully did not charge me for the unwanted shot. I had to ask twice if her weight was appropriate. I felt like I was pulling teeth to get basic info. They did a heart worm test and I waited for results, then they didn't even mention the results, I had to ask "what were the results?" "Oh. Negative." Ughhh! Then at the end after I paid I told them I just wanted them to know today was not a good experience. The girl just shrugged and said "oh - sorry!" Didn't ask if I wanted to speak with the manager or Dr or anything. They were rude, unorganized, uncaring. read more

Ours dogs have been there a few times. I have given this place chances; believing we all have our bad days. However, most recently I had taken my mother's dog there to get her nails cut. Not only did it take them a while to find her paperwork, but they then asked if she's had her rabies shots. With this not being my dog I was not 100% sure. However, I pointed out that she's been there about 6 times, so more than likely yes. She proceeded to tell me they would not take her until proved. I had called my mother to verify, and apparently she has had her information faxed there twice already. I highly recommend going somewhere else. This place is unorganized, rude, & not worth it. First time visiting with a rescue kitten by referral from friend. All staff was very nice and helpful.

If I could give a negative star I would. I called up this morning before taking my dog up to this vet. I do trust this vet as it treated one of my other dogs prior to this visit. They also tried to charge me with unnecessary charges. When questioned it was clueless they were in the bill. Today I asked over phone for knowledge on my dog and the receptionist Summer was determined to just get me there when it was nothing serious! I took her there my dog was heathy as suspected. Dr.Haley got on the phone cause Summer said my dog was good and ready to be picked up. Summer stated that they put shots in her. When I spoke with Dr.Haley asking why they did he said they never put shots in her and was rude stating I can go to another vet when I was just wanting to make sure I wasn't being charge for unnecessary charges. read more

I have an English bulldog and they are not the healthiest of breeds. My poor pup has hip dysplaysia, dimodex and also allergies. I've just moved to Lebanon and this clinic was referred by a very close friend and all I have to say is that I'm a happy camper as this clinic is great value for money and also the staff are superior. They are always helpful and generous with advice and information. I highly recommend this clinic. read more

The doctor and his staff acted like they did not care about my animals or me for that matter. The staff did not call back after I called and spoke with an answering service. This Dr. is a large animal "vet"....I needed 2 pigs sedated for a move as we closed on our home and bought a farm. I looked for a mobile vet this office said they would reserve an appointment for a house call for me. I was told helping us would not be a problem and that a message would be a passed along. I waited two days for return calls. I contacted this place no less than ten times and each time I was told that the vet was not in the office, but that a message would be relayed immediately upon his return. I thought being a DVM involved treating animals, but obviously I was wrong. I sold my home and had to move the 400 pound babies to fourteen acres, but I did want them to be hurt travelling...to me, caring for my animals is a serious endeavor...the staff here doesn't seem to care that my animals could have broken a leg or even that they were screaming and scared as they were getting in the trailer. I think whoever answered the phone at this joint was actually laughing at my plight. the people here came across to me as unprofessional and had my animal been in serious danger, she surely would have died before this place even got back to me. Fifteen hours later, and one last call, the doctor said that he did not know how to help us? I mean, really? At least call us back....This office had me waiting around, thinking they were coming to treat my critter and then did a no show without a call. Totally dropped the ball...Maybe, after learning some customer service skills, this doc ought to go back to school. Don't go here if you want a vet with people and animal skills. No bedside manner whatsoever....SMH read more

Kinslow has always been great with our dogs and cats. We've been going there for years. We have always found them to be a better value than any other in the area. They love animals and we have even witnessed that love shown. I give them a big thumbs up, Recently we had to put down our little girl. A couple of weeks later they even sent us a sympathy card. So I am finding a couple of these reviews surprising. I find that they care for the animals and their owners. My daughter uses them for her horses too. I called Kinslow Clinic on a Sunday morning (06/27/21) and their after hours service took my call. I was panicked because my dog had collapsed and was very pale and weak. He hadn't been himself for 2 days prior to the collapse. I received a return call immediately and the vet, Dr. Matney, spoke with me for several minutes and offered to meet me at the clinic. Less than 20 minutes later I was at the clinic. A very thorough examination was done, an ultrasound, blood work...everything that could have been done for my dog was done. After a long discussion explaining what all the blood work showed, my dog was placed on medication and we agreed on bringing him back in a few days to re-check him. Unfortunately his condition didn't improve and as Dr. Matney had suspected and informed me on the first visit, there was a possibility my dog was terminal. The second visit confirmed this. My family and I decided to let our dog go and it was so hard. The Dr. and Staff were so kind and compassionate. They helped us make the arrangements for his cremation and allowed us to stay with our dog for a while before we said our final goodbye. A few days later we picked up his remains and brought him home. It has taken me this long to write this review because the experience has just been so difficult. I'm thankful for the care and kindness my dog received from Dr. Matney. The staff sent a card to the family which was very appreciated. Our experience was a sad one, but I feel very relieved in knowing that our dog received great care in his final days. I will be entrusting Kinslow Clinic with our other dog as well as our cats. read more

I've been taking my pets to Kinslow Clinic for years and they've always been the best to my animals and to me. I recently lost a cat to illness and I was there every day visiting and trying to get my cat to eat and respond to me as it wouldn't to strangers. They did everything to save him, but the disease overwhelmed his body. Dr. Pack was so gracious and wonderful to me as I went through the whole process and then he sent me a sympathy card with a long handwritten note. That meant a lot to me as well. They were so comforting to me during that last day, all of the staff, and that wasn't the first animal I've lost to disease and I'm also so grateful they actually cry with me and care for the human as much as the animal. I took my sweet puppy to Kinslow this morning after she had an upset tummy. My regular vet was on vacation. Once we were settled in the room the vet took a fecal sample and 30 minutes later had not given me the results. Instead, a second vet came in and said the next step was to X-ray her and that it is possible she could have swallowed a toy piece. Typically the fecal sample results are given before any further action is taken, but that isn't the way Kinslow does things. They said she needed to go get X-rays so I authorized it. I was worried about my pup. After the $150 X-Ray that revealed NOTHING, the vet informed me that my pups fecal sample reveled she had worms. If I had gotten the fecal results immediately I would have never authorized an x-ray. Worms 100% causes an upset tummy. Kinslow should have given me those results as soon as possible instead of waiting. Long story short, Kinslow conned me into an x-Ray I didn't need. A $200 vet visit is now $400. Ridiculous. I will definitely not bringing my pup back there! read more

My dog is all up to date on her shots at our vet. And borded her up at kinslow while we was on vacation and a 3 day $60 stay for her turned into a $150 3 day stay with kinslow with all their hidden fees 2 fees they told us about and one they did not and all they could say was they are sorry. We will definitely NOT take our dog back here and definitely not recommend this place . read more

I called them, about a sick dog I was boarding, I wanted to make sure they would let me in , as I had sued them and won a year ago, the girl that answered said she would check with the vet to make sure, came back and proceded to ask what clearwaters first name was, I was a little confused as this was not the name I had given her for the dogs owner, then she went on to explain she needed to see that the shots were up to date to board her, I at this point asked if she could hear me clearly and understand what I was saying, she said she did, I asked to speak to someone else, she would not let me, I gritted my teeth and said into the phone the dog is sick, she is sick, she does not need to be boarded, I am boarding her, and she hung up on me, the quality of care here has slipped, and now the caring is gone also I used to recommend them highly, not anymore, I got the dog to Trousdale vet clinic and they took care of her, and she is doing fine now read more
