Specialties
We are strictly by appointment only, after receiving a Match-Making Application, available through our website.
With limited volunteers, I try to cater to everyone, but my priority is these kitties lives.
What we do is unique as it's an effort to reduce the unnecessary euthanizing of sick neonates & high risk pregnant cats.
When a rescue realizes a neonate (or litter) 0 to 7 weeks old, who are critically sick with Feline Infectious Peritonitis (FIP), upper respiratory infections (URI), pneumonia, panleukopenia, calicivirus, ringworm, etc., or has been severely injured, or high-risk pregnant cats, if they don't have a capable foster available then we ask they save the money they would've spent on euthanizing & cremation and just surrender [them] to us.
We treat them, vaccinate, deworm, and spay/neuter them, socialize them with the others here at the Coalition, then find them their perfect forever homes. We have a few cages, but we only use them to protect kitties from others (post surgery, during treatment, or initial quarantine) or to protect others from them (ferals in need of socialization)
History
Established in 2022.
As a foster, I noticed a gap in the rescue world, medical services for highly contagious or expensive homeless kitties. My rescue was established to help close that gap
With love and care, we provide 24/7 care, giving a voice to those who are otherwise ignored. Then, once healed, they are spayed/neutered, vaccinated, dewormed, then microchipped before being listed for adoption
We don't euthanize due to cost, why would we for space. So, until we are able to match them with their purrfect forever home, they are welcome to remain here (though, the more here, the less we can take in. So, please, complete an application and come meet our motley crew of kitties available for adoption
