More deets: On OWNERSHIP and RESPONSIBILITY - Our shower glass walls were a little short. I didn't even know enough to know this was a solvable problem, but he made the third-party glass company take the segments back and replace them with segments that fit even more perfectly and beautifully. There we a couple of other instance and there was never accountability squirm.... Honestly that's unlike 95% of contractors. ADVICE - If the lighting wasn't going to work or look nice, he told you. If the switches we're in the wrong place in the blueprint, he told you. If a door or opening would have been better served with a pocket door instead of a swinging door, like into a bedroom closet, he told you. He told you nicely, politely, never insinuating that I did not know what I was doing or that the architect was bad or wrong. He'd just politely and slowly walk me through a few different scenarios and the real life placement of things and was 100% right in all of his corrective suggestions. The one time I did not listen to him and thought I knew better, after a few months I realized I was completely wrong. MAIN SUBS - Whenever his subs were scheduled to show up, they did, on time, always clean-cut and professional, smiling, and happy. They cleaned up EVERY DAY. Other previous contractors thought nothing of leaving trash on the floor or even dangerous nails when I had small children in the house. I think he is one of, if not, the BEST IN THE BUSINESS and I plan on doing more with him in the future.

Unfortunately, a lot of the older homes in Phoenix do not have a garages. Jake came over the next day, after I called, and walked me through the process. At this time I wasn't really interested in this as my main concern was price. In todays day and age, this is the biggest driving factor. We walked through layout and dimensions, same as I did with the other four General contractors (one wasn't licensed) to make sure the bids were apples to apples. A few days later he provided a proposal which to my surprise was the most reasonable. We worked through a schedule and I was more than excited to get started (more so my wife than I). Wow, what can I say, he not only beat his own schedule but did an excellent job. I am a carpenter by trade and the quality of work in both carpentry and workmanship provided, exceeded what I have seen here in the valley. Bidding the project was extremely fair and transparent. All questions and concerns during the build were personally handled by Alex or his father. Communication occurred on a daily basis with instant response time from Alex. The workmanship provided for our project was excellent. Pricewise, from the companies we interviewed, Tacheny was in the upper mid-range. One of the reasons we opted to go with them is we have Solar panels and they have their own Solar contractors to remove the panels. That saved us about 2K based on pricing from Solar companies that do the same work. There were a couple of issues we noticed after the initial roof repair was completed. We talked to our site manager, Mahkobi, and he looked over the areas of concern and got those fixed. The drywall repair was exceptional and there were no issues whatsoever. Even though we had to address some of the roofing issues, I felt the office and site manager kept us in the loop, listened to our concerns and addressed the issues to our satisfaction. I would recommend this company for any exterior work you might need on your home.
