With a recent Seller under contract, we learned from the Buyers that their inspection of the home showed that there was a cracked truss in the attic of the home. The Seller had just two days to respond to the question of whether or not he would repair. I called Todd at TH Structural Engineering and told him what I was dealing with and the very short time for my client to have the issue checked and my very short time frame. Although he was busy with other work, he met me at the house the next day, inspected the Truss and found it was ok. He issued the Certificate I needed, confirming all was good, and my seller was able to meet the deadline for his response to the Buyers. Because of Todd reacting so quickly to my request, the seller has been able to sell his home.

He charged me to show up and talk about my project but he never followed up with anything. I had to hunt him down multiple times for load calculations that never showed up. He wasted three months of my time. He never put together anything we spoke about or I needed. I wasted $400 for his time for one afternoon. I asked for a refund since he never followed up. He had tons of excuses about his personal health and he may have but at some point you need to own the fact that you did not provide any service despite months of a patient customer following up.

I hired Camman Abilities, operated by Cameron Brown, to perform handyman work at my property…read more During the project, he recommended applying a deep-pour epoxy resin to seal the surface of my BBQ countertop and a patio picnic table. Unfortunately, during the application process, the resin spilled extensively onto the surrounding paver decking beneath the outdoor kitchen bartop and beneath the table area, resulting in significant damage and staining to the pavers. In an attempt to remedy the issue, Mr. Brown rented a power washer; however, he only retained the machine for approximately three hours, including a two-hour round-trip commute to a Home Depot in the far East Valley, which left him with about one hour of actual cleaning time on site. This effort was ineffective in removing the resin from the pavers. Subsequently, Mr. Brown proposed applying a wet-look sealer over the affected areas to conceal the resin stains. This solution failed to resolve the issue, and the paver damage remained visible In addition to this, Mr. Brown was contracted to complete other projects, including the installation of a steel border on the driveway and gutter covers, both of which were left incomplete after numerous delays and weeks of unsuccessful attempts to have him return and finish the work. When I reached out to Mr. Brown to address the damage to the pavers and to request that he complete the outstanding work for which he had already been paid, he responded by sending me a cease and desist letter, rather than making any effort to rectify the situation.

Once again Cameron has made my request happen. First my sliding gate and now my bedroom windows…read more My dark room has become a bright place to spend time in. I can guarantee he will make your experience as wonderful.

Permitted and inspected projected I am a project manager myself, so I provided the project scope, measurements, nuances, ample photos, and installed lighting and a catwalk in my attic to make it as easy as possible for them. Derek visited the site and took photos/measurements as well. Their first drawing was inaccurate, showing a 24'x14" beam in the living space of the home and showing attic trusses which I do not have. A month later, they sent V2 which was more incorrect than V1 (beam tied to roof ridge board, no footing dimensions, unsafe purlin angles). I had them alter that, but V3 was a corrected 3rd page and not a total complete document for inspection approval. My contractor re-reviewed this version and found lacking non-code footer details which required more communication to correct. Overall I paid $850 for the work. I provided ample info but it was somehow ignored, and multiple incorrect work products were sent to me. I was told by Kelly I was to receive a 15% refund but never received it. This engineering firm held up my project and annoyed me, my contractor, and the inspector who were left waiting for accurate drawings. We ended up just telling these licensed engineers what to put in the drawings because they were incapable of critical thinking.
