We were not too happy with how most foundation companies treat customers with sky high prices and broken promises. Cam came out and looked at the areas that were missed by the previous company, told us exactly what was needed, gave us a very fair price for the work, he didn't try to sell us on anything we did not need, and the work was done right. It was an absolute pleasure to do business with Trusted Foundation Repair. We will use them again in the future. Call Cam at Trusted first!!!!

He arrived on time and went over my original concern, as well as took a look at a couple of others. He suggested not filling underneath the patio and provided referrals for structural engineers to get a baseline slab check being our flooring was recently replaced and old inspection from years ago was no longer valid. It's rare to have a privately owned local business not try to sell you something you don't necessarily need, as, well it affects the bottom line. This is why, if we ever do need Foundation work done, Cam will be the guy I call to get it done. Trusted is in their name for a reason.

I wanted to leave this review for Alonzo. My neighbors are currently having foundation work…read morecompleted, and as an engineer, I was naturally curious about the process and system being installed. Alonzo took the time to thoroughly answer my questions and explain the structural issues contributing to the foundation movement. I was genuinely impressed with his technical knowledge and ability to clearly articulate the root causes of settlement, as well as the engineering principles behind the repair system being implemented. He demonstrated a strong understanding of load transfer, soil conditions, and long-term stabilization methods. It's refreshing to see someone who not only understands the installation process but can also confidently explain the "why" behind it. Based on this interaction alone, I would feel very comfortable trusting his expertise on any foundation-related work. I'll be contacting the company for work on my home and would like Alonzo to work on it specifically . Thank you

I had a great experience getting the free estimate from AFS. Due to a miscommunication, I missed…read morethe initial appointment. David S., the estimator, was very understanding. We talked on the phone. I had many questions. He took the time to answer them all. With rescheduling, the office staff were always friendly and accommodating. David S. was knowledgeable and informative, but never sales-y. After the inspection, he emailed a report with the measurement data, a diagram of the home indicating where repairs would be made and several options. No repeated calls or pressure to schedule work soon. The foundation stabilization and repair options included installing helical and push piers, underpinning, the poly filler, stem wall patches and repairs. There was a lot offered and the overall total was very costly. I do understand I'm not just paying for getting the piers installed, but all the knowledge, time and coordination to get there. After the initial freak-out at seeing the cost, I know I can discuss with David S. what parts are critical and how to reduce the total. There were various degrees, like a base package versus something that had more features. Some items AFS would be contracting out, so there's potential to save if I hired those contractors directly. I believe the specialty of AFS is installing piers. If you only need foundation patching, you might search for structural concrete specialists. As some reviewers noted, utilizing AFS will be much more expensive in those situations. Ask your contact. If you're a homeowner reading this, you're probably worried about some things you've seen in your home. The last thing you need is the added stress of someone trying to get you to sign off on a project. Of course, if it was urgent...fortunately, my home isn't in danger of falling down tomorrow. I'm grateful AFS provided a no-cost, no-pressure assessment. David S. provided the data for me to make an informed decision. He didn't use any and fear or pressure tactics. When hiring a contractor, I want one that I can have a collaborative conversation with. I can't speak to the installation itself, but if I decide to go with piers, poly fill or underpinning, I feel good reaching out to David S. to further discuss and make changes to the solution. I haven't decided on what to do with the foundation. There are more urgent home repairs. I also wanted to make sure I found root causes and to make sure those were addressed. Something I learned through this process: if you're seeing signs of foundation settlement, look for areas that are wet by pushing a stick around the perimeter of the house. Even if unused, sprinkler systems, irrigation or service lines can have water leaks that will cause the soil to expand and shrink. Those lines need to be repaired or if unused, capped off. I have unused sprinkler lines running right along the back of the house! Oh, after scheduling the appointment, AFS sent a book about foundation issues. It cost a bit to send. I support reducing waste. If you don't want the book, I wonder if you can ask them not to send and email a link instead!

He is definitely more of an old school contractor, which for me is preferred. He is the one answering the calls, coming out for the bid and is leading the pours and finishes. For me dealing with so many contractors it's nice when you are not routed through dispatchers and given a 5 hour window for a bid. Travis was always on time for bids and the project and wasted no time getting right to it when he came on site. I had 4 other bids for concrete, and Travis was the most knowledgeable and attentive to details by far. He brought up potential issues that he had with my plan and state of the yard, which other contractors didn't mention and I was able to rectify them before he started work. Some people might find that frustrating but I find it a testament to the quality he is committed to leaving behind which is exceedingly rare with contract work. For the actual finished concrete: I'm in awe of the quality and consistency he laid. The concrete is so perfectly sloped, grated and mated against the house and old slabs that when I hose it off it just beads right off completely opposite the house. Cleaning this new concrete is going to be a breeze and I'm excited to enjoy it. I didn't expect the concrete itself to be the cornerstone in the yard, but it is truly a functioning work of art now. The photos attached are after 3 months and everything loo Value: His cost was very reasonable. He was not the cheapest bid but he was certainly not the most expensive. He even put extra material in his invoicing he wasn't sure he would need, and when he ended up not needing that material he removed it from the final bill. His portfolio was beyond everyone else in quality and I'm happy to add to it. He is now my go to concrete guy.

No one walked the job before to tell us what they would be doing and what to expect. I asked multiple times about what floors we had to remove and confirmed by the company. Turns out we didn't have to remove the $1000s of dollars worth of flooring. The sales guy was on vacation and no one would call me back. This was so poorly done and they didn't clean up the debris or trash. I would think a "family" owned company would do the right thing. Since the owner is not understanding, I did remove my floors per your guidance and then it turns out I did NOT have to remove it per Lee Blodgett, the project manager. There are cracks not filled and no one confirmed the job was done no permit approval either. Also it does not say to remove flooring it says "owner accepts that drilling will be done into floors if not removed." The problem is Tim said to remove it all and Lee says only a few planks had to be removed.

I did not have a good experience with this company…read more I had very little opportunity to personally inspect the property before the purchase so i was definitely relying on the inspector to do their job. The inspector found many minor issues but also misidentified a number of "code violations". The seller was a licensed plumber and pointed out that the inspector was wrong in many places which didn't sit too well with us. After the inspection I got multiple misleading phone calls from the "client success" team. All they wanted to do was sell me additional services but they refused to tell me what they wanted to talk about beforehand. This happened repeatedly where I would get a call or an email saying they wanted to call to talk about how the inspection went and "some other items". When I asked what "other items" I would never get a straight answer. I finally just replied in an email that I wasn't super happy with the inspection and had no interest in any other services from the company But then the real bad stuff came out. Major rot in half the windows in my house. I discovered it after less than a day in the house and it was clearly evident. The bill will be $50,000 to replace the windows. I placed a complaint with the company and was asked to supply documentation which I did with copious pictures and estimates for repair. I got the response I expected - windows wouldn't open at the time of inspection, screens in the way, etc. - so we don't have any liability. When I sent pictures of fixed windows (they don't ever open) and no screens that clearly showed rot they then offered to refund the inspection fee but only if I agreed to an NDA that is clearly intended to avoid bad social media exposure. I would not ever use this company again. Their service simply didn't do what I needed it to do. And I don't need a sales job for extermination services and relocation services, etc. from my inspection company. I am guessing the owner will respond to this and they have every right to. But I would have traded all the ticky tack stuff the inspector did call out for him having seen even one of the windows that clearly had moisture damage and suggesting we look into that further.
