I have been burned before at a bug box waxer, and being a brown skinned beauty my skin is a bit more sensitive to burns and does not always heal nicely. Christine made my experience pleasant and relaxing. She took her time, there was no rush and no burns! Not only was my service a bit cheaper then the big box waxer the customer service was immaculate AND I left with a goody bag filled with loofah to exfoliate, a pen, snd even a mini ingrown hair serum. The experience I had today really lived up to my expectations! My wax was with Molly (after I booked online without specifying anyone), who I found to be kind, professional, and engaging. It really felt like I was hanging out with a friend during my brazilian wax. Molly did an excellent job of putting me at ease and managing my pain expectations, having me inhale and exhale during the more painful portions. I'd never experienced the hard wax she uses before, and found it less painful than the traditional soft wax. The pain fades more quickly and has less of a sting as well. I made sure to book my next appointment when I checked out. Molly and I discussed waxing timelines based on my skin sensitivity level and hair type and she clearly wanted what was best and most effective for me. Sanya discussed what I wanted in terms of the shape I desired. My eyebrows have been curly and problematic for years. I have been threading my eyebrows since I was 15. From waxing to lamination treatments, as you age, you have to remain consistent. I took a break from waxing and lamination treatments for the past 6 months, trying to achieve growth in sparse areas. Threading seems to be the most precise hair removal service for brows. Sanya was kind, gentle and checked in with me to make sure the shape was to my liking. We discussed goals and tinting for a thicker/ fuller look in thinning areas. I find this salon affordable and they are very nice women. Happy to have a new threading salon to call home.

I went for a Brazilian this past weekend with Tausha and she was friendly and knowledgeable about waxing and aftercare. Waxing is a challenge and unless you get into some serious yoga positions, you can sometimes miss cracks and crevices during the service. I spoke to one of the receptionists who kindly slid me in this evening to correct this. Starsha was so warm, welcoming and a wealth of knowledge on waxing. I felt so comfortable on her table.
