Another good ice cream place to add to my list of favorite places to go in Orlando! The ice cream is a perfect combo of dense, soft, and creamy. From the top of the swirl to the very bottom of the inside of my cone, there was not a single air pocket to be found. I got the chocolate flavored ice cream, and every bite was chocolatey and creamy heaven. Now, if you know your desserts, the cone that is used is usually known as a chimney cake. It is a sweet pastry that is soft on the inside and has a glass-like crunchy exterior that is coated with cinnamon and sugar. It's a little like eating a cruffin, but with a crunchier exterior due to their special way of making it. Definitely worth trying at least once if you've never tried it before. Overall, if you're looking to impress a foodie with something sweet, decadent, and pretty, I'd say give this place a go. The ice cream is as perfect and delicious as you see it.
Came by after dinner for a sweet treat. I saw Crispy Cones on TikTok and have wanted to stop by for a while. They have plenty of parking and some seating inside and outside. You order via kiosk which is by the entrance so it can get a bit crowded to enter if it is busy. They had plenty of selections for flavor combinations and you can even create your own. I decided to go with a chocolate lovers cone. The cone was warm and there was plenty of ice cream and toppings with it. It was also made pretty quickly which is nice. There was nothing out of this world about the dessert for the price. It was really moreso a churro and ice cream than anything.
I felt like I "had to know" but I won't go again. While the employee did great us with a hello, there's no real interaction. You order on kiosks and I can't say I felt like $11 was a good price. I ordered the Nutella with strawberry, one of their standards from the menu. It was fine, but the toppings are just on the outside and bottom of the cone. So it was just vanilla ice cream with toppings. Nothing special there, just soft serve vanilla. I would have rather been at DQ had more options and had it blended in! Sure, the cone part is neat ans niche. But you can't hold it, so it has to come in a cup and it was hard to eat without also using my fingers to pull it apart. I can't imagine the mess with kids. This won't be for me again.
The staff was amazing--so friendly and welcoming! The seating area was clean, and the décor had a modern twist that made the space feel inviting. The menu was simple and straightforward. I ordered the brownie crispy cone and swapped the KitKat topping for Heath. The soft-serve ice cream was delicious, and the toppings were great--just the right amount of decadence. After seeing another cone being made, I asked for a little less ice cream since the servings are very generous, and even sharing with my two-year-old, we knew we wouldn't finish it. Once I got to the cone, though, I was disappointed. Instead of being crispy, it had a soft, bready texture--more like biting into a cinnamon bun. It was also coated in a very heavy layer of sugar, which made it overly sweet, especially with the Nutella already inside. Both my partner and I tried a bite of our cones and didn't really want more. Considering the place is called Crispy Cones, we expected the cone to be the star of the show. It would have been nice to have that crispy, crunchy texture, but the only "crunch" came from the excessive sugar. This was our first visit. We found it after doing some research because we wanted to try something new. We're glad we gave it a shot, but it's not something we'd rush to order again.
Amazing!! I was so excited to find this place. I didn't even have a taste for ice cream but when I saw their unique cone, I instantly changed my mind. As a carb (and cone) lover, I had to indulge. The cone was obviously the star of the show but the custard was tasty and the Oreos was a nice bonus. You place your order on the kiosk but staff is able to walk you through the menu and answer any questions. The interior was simple and had seating available indoors and outdoors to enjoy your treat.
Tucked away on the other end of the Foxtail coffee plaza on Curry Ford Road in theHhourglass district this dessert creation from Prague is interesting and fun to indulge! The parking is a bit tight but was available and the decor , service and energy is top notch! It's like walking into your friend's home being treated with a unique pastry like cone lined with your choices of cookie butter, peanut butter and or nutella . It is then filled with your choice of soft serve flavors and topped with a variety of candies, cookies and goodies. Lastly it is drizzked with a syrup!! It's an experience with the chef full of storytelling history and background and gets you excited to try them and to return! I chose to build my own and they offer featured ones and regular menu creations/and change the cone bases this time they had powdered and they always have the cinnamon sugar -the cone is similar to brioche with a mix of a churro as explained by the chef. I ordered a powdered cone with peanut butter filling and ice cream was vanilla chocolate twist topped with chocolate cookies and heath bars and drizzled with raspberry sauce! I would go again for the experience..the soft serve was very creamy much like a custard and the cone was just ok but again it was a great time! Again kudos to the chef she's amazing!
If you love ice cream as much as I do, you should definitely give this place a try. It's best enjoyed on-site, though seating is very limited. Honestly, once you taste the ice cream, you'll forget all about needing a seat--you'll be too busy enjoying every bite. The staff was friendly, and everything is made to order. They also offer options for those with allergies, which is a big plus. I highly recommend checking them out.
I've seen this place populate on social often, and I know they were on Shark Tank, so I was excited! Once you walk in, you can smell the baked comes and cinnamon that accompany them. There are options to have the ice cream with the cones, just ice cream, or even the cones alone! The highlights are the cones themselves, and the spread options that can be added Unfortunately the ice cream wasn't good. There wasn't a carrot cake flavor to the ice cream, and if I had to return it would just be for the cones. A bright spot is, the order does come pretty quick!
Outside area is absolutely gorgeous and entering inside is even better! It's extremely clean and comfortable, staff was SO FRIENDLY and ready to explain the menu and how they make the cones! I got a CocoBerry, which was phenomenal, and my friend made her own which also was so good! The cone is so delicious, it's soft and yummy! I would 1000% come back! It's worth the hype.
Loveeee soft serve. They are very creative here with good ice cream. But veryyyy filling. Inside is nice and bright and pleasing. Service was super nice as well.
I've driven by this spot more times than I can count, but it was never the right time. We stopped by for a "treat yourself" afternoon. I understood the general concept with the name of the place and who doesn't want a pastry with some ice cream?! However, I don't think I fully got it until ordering. There are a few inspiration options to choose from or you can build your own. I chose the cookie butter option with vanilla ice cream. Coating the inside of the cone with cookie butter = perfection. However they lost me with the ice cream, it's only soft serve with a few of the toppings on top. For a cone that costs more than $10 I would prefer for the toppings to be mixed with the ice cream so I'm not only getting it in the first 10-15 bites. I am a bit curious if I'd feel any different about the fruit cones. Overall it's a fun concept, but I couldn't see it being a spot I needed to keep going back to.
Wow, this place succeeded my expectations, I really enjoyed the crispy cone which you can customize it fully. My favorite part was actually the cone itself. It wasn't too sweet and I love the texture. The ice cream tasted like any other ice cream. The combination that we got was strawberries with Nutella sauce and Nutella filling, I highly recommend and would come back.
I've been dreaming of this place since they've opened. Finally got the chance to go and try this delicious strawberry cheesecake cone. Wayyy better than a traditional cone because it just pulls apart and tastes like a Churro but better. I def need to go back for their monthly flavor! Cute outdoor and indoor seating.

Crispy Cones was such a cute spot. The concept is fun and different, and the presentation is super aesthetic. The ice cream was creamy, the toppings were fresh, and the cone itself was warm and soft with the perfect texture. The staff was friendly and made everything quickly. It's definitely one of those places that's perfect for dessert and pictures. I'll for sure be coming back. read more
Fun idea! We order in the tablet and can customize what we want. I got strawberries and Nutella. But there were only for slices of a strawberry stuck into my ice cream and one in the cone so I was a little disappointed. It's a lot of ice cream and cone so if I come back next time I'd share with a friend. read more
The ice cream was good and what you would expect however they do not have special flavors just vanilla, chocolate, and another flavor that I think rotates. The cone is what this is known for and it did not disappoint. It was warm and freshly made and tasted like a cinnamon donut. The only downside is it comes in a tiny cup and it's hard to enjoy the cone and ice cream at the same time unless you get to the bottom. It's very messy to eat and wish there was a different way to eat this. You order on an iPad but the ice cream came out fast when we ordered. read more
Order through a POS and wait for your name to be called. There's a new monthly flavor announced but there's only 3 other flavors as options: Chocolate, Vanilla, and Swirl. The "churro" like cone with the soft serve was about $8. Which incudes: Traditional churro like cone, spread of your choice, ice cream of your choice, toppings, and sauce. $.35 extra for any additional toppings. All was very good but they're VERY stingy with the topping as you can tell, there's about 4 pieces of every topping i chose. Portions are small as well. There's plenty of seating outside and was overall a new and different place to get something sweet in Orlando. read more

Hi Christine,…
Probably the best type of ice cream cone I have ever had. What I got: Crispy come with vanilla, cookie butter spread, and strawberries. Saying I inhaled this thing is an understatement. It is so good and I can not wait for them to come to North Dallas. Atmosphere: Personally, it'd be a grab and go situation. There's not a lot of seating area and it's so busy that the tables were pretty sticky. Service: Though you order at a kiosk, I was so intrigued by the process and the people working were so friendly! read more

Hi Kacie,…
I'm overdue leaving a review for this fantastic spot, but it's been a family favorite since they opened. Their freshly baked dough cones are amazing -- lightly browned, soft and chewy; the perfect vessel for their soft serve. Their specialty cone rotates each month, and their specialty soft serve flavor changes weekly. We've loved all of their flavor combinations! Their staff is always welcoming. Enjoying their Cones on-site is a must for me because I wouldn't be able to wait for a car ride to eat it. They have two four-top tables and one stand-up table, but also seating outside. I can't recommend this place enough! read more

This is the messiest ice cream I have ever eaten but it was wonderful. What a cool concept with the "crispy cone" I would say it reminds me of the sugary cinnamon pretzels that you can get walking around at the mall! It isn't that crispy but is softer and so sugary. You get to choose your ice cream flavor, toppings, and what goes inside and outside the comes. I did swirl, Nutella inside and peanut butter cups on top! So good. The ice cream is like soft serve and creamy. I would say it could come in a bigger cup just because it's so dang messy! Definitely do not come here on a first date because you will leave with so much ice cream on your face haha but worth the mess for sure! I'm glad they had wet wipes next to the napkins too! It is a bit pricey but great for a special treat. read more
After seeing this on Facebook. I took my eldest granddaughter for ice cream after dinner. You order on a tablet and pay. Then you step aside as the prepare it. You seen them making cones. She got the swirl with Nutella and Oreos and loved it. I got chocolate with peanut butter and peanut butter cups, enjoyed it as well. The cones are good size. We both thought the cone tasted like a churros. read more

OMG my dream dessert is what I will call this! Saw this on yelp and IG and wanted to try and glad we did! It's got some parking, we got there around 3pm so did not have any issues. There was no wait either. You enter and the store is clean and bright! You order on an iPad as soon as you walk in, basically do you want a cone or not, pick your flavor ice cream, toppings etc. pay and then wait. As you're walking by you can see them making these cones, looks amazing. Didn't wait for too long before they called my name! It came in a cup, I got the cone (which was warm, mix between a churro and a cinnamon sugar donut, what is not to like about that!). Nutella inside the cone, Vanilla and chocolate swirl ice cream, topped with almonds. Ice cream was creamy and not overly sweet which went perfect with the cone. I eat ice cream at a very good pace so no melting problem with me! They do have inside and outdoor seating so I would suggest eating it indoors since it's already hot outside and it would most likely melt fast! The cone itself was soft and everything went well together. Love it! All the staff was friendly too. read more

Very helpful friendly staff, the line and orders move very quickly. We tried a little bit of everything. My favorite was the blueberry vanilla swirl on the sugar cone with the raspberry sauce and KitKat. This was the best combo. There is plenty of seating inside and outside. Will for sure be back to this wonderful new gem. read more
This is such a cute dessert spot! They have lots of flavors to appease almost everyone. They also create speciality cones each month so if you go they might not have the same cones but I think that's what keeps it fun. You can add different spreads to the inside of the cone like Nutella and cookie butter as well as topping like Oreo cookie crumbles or strawberries which makes it fun for kids. There is also a kiosk to order from which makes it quick to receive your order. I love this new take on a French classic pastry really innovative! read more

Hi Kendra,…
I love a good ice cream and a new and fun concept! Crispy cones delivered that for sure. It is super customizable. You order the type of cone and filling you want, soft serve, sauce, and toppings. I had the traditional cone and opted for no spread with soft serve, rasberry sauce, and fresh strawberries. It is a very good portion and the cones are hot and fresh. It is a nice space but the one con is that there is limited seating both inside and outside. read more

Delicious new casual dessert spot in the hour glass district! When you walk in you are warmly greeted and able to order on an iPad. You have a warm and soft churro cone base and are able to get a spears inside such as Nutella. Then you choose the ice cream filling and toppings! I opted for vanilla ice cream with strawberry and Oreo toppings. It was delicious! The cone was warm and perfectly cooked. It was actually super easy to eat overall! They provide spoons and plenty of napkins too. Highly recommend coming here, I will be back!!! read more

Totally worth the wait!!! Can't wait to go back already! We got the cookie dough special of the week and it was so yummy. I love how you can customize your cone from the cone itself to the spread inside, the ice cream flavor, the toppings, and sauce drizzled on top. At first glance, I thought it might be too decadent but nope! It was perfectly sweet read more

Delicious ice cream, we drove from Davenport to try this place out. I think the idea was very thought out in making the cone a little different than regular ones. The ice cream was so so good! The service was fast and easy, everyone was nice and attentive. The ambiance was very family friendly, We will definitely be back! read more

Always a pleasure coming here! I had to bring my partner to try it out. He says the cone is very rich and also reminds him of a churro. The staff was very welcoming and his service was impeccable. Very clean inside and easy to order through kiosk. read more

These cones were soooo good!! I had three coconut cones with half/half with almond joy and raspberry and it was amazing!!! Small little shop but cute and efficient we were served quickly. If you are in the area give it a try! read more
Great concept. Great gimmick. The line was 10 deep out the door. Which is normally a good sign. To be fair, the workers are very efficient and keep things moving fast. You order and pay on one of the 2 iPads, then they call your name when it's ready. Again, a great idea in that they make the cones fresh and you can see the work being done. The problem is, the ice cream itself is average at best. The worst part is the mess. The warm cone mixed with ice cream is a disaster. Everyone we saw had more ice cream on their hands and on the floor than in their mouth. It's just frustrating and we saw multiple people literally scoop off half the ice cream and throw it away. I recommend halving the amount of ice cream they give, or at least provide a bowl to catch it. It was a nice one and done type of place. read more

Great ice cream & the cones were absolutely delicious! Definitely coming back here. Service was so quick and easy - you submit your order on an iPad & it's ready in just a couple minutes. Ended up sitting outside to enjoy our cone but the inside had a couple tables to eat at & some music playing creating a relaxing ambiance. Not only is there toppings on the outside but on the inside also throughout the cone! It was a nice surprise read more

This was just "ok" for me. The parking was fine and I did not experience really much of a wait at all. You order at a kiosk so it makes it super convenient to customize and get exactly what you want. There were only 2 flavors available when we went (Chocolate and Vanilla). We did the original crispy cone and I added Cookie butter inside and crumbled on top. The soft serve was "ok". The texture was fine but it did not seem to have a lot of chocolate flavor to me. You get a cup that they place the cone in which is helpful as when the ice cream melts it goes through the cone. So definitely keep that cup in place. The cone was good, sort of a cinnamon sugar pastry that was slightly mushy from the melted soft serve. There were 3 of us so 3 cones with a small tip was $30. The cone was good but I don't know if it was ten a person good. I would be interested to try the specialty flavors that were sold out when I was there. Maybe that would make a difference. read more

I was very excited about this place and honestly I expected more, Sunday line was outside waited like 15-20 mins to make it inside. You make your order via an iPad and there's only 2 choices of ice cream vanilla or chocolate for 2 cones $20, everything is basically additional. I wanted strawberries they only added 3 pieces of strawberry for .35 cents each I did Nutella inside and caramel for extra topping. Place was very much pack barely space to wait for your order. Cup is VERY VERY SMALL creating a mess ice cream is melting quick and the toppings are falling off. When I tasted the vanilla was Not flavorful whatsoever I had to ask for an extra cup which I got an attitude for so I can eat the cone/ pretzel thing first and then the ice cream. Honestly I would give -1/10 this place not worth the hype save your money. read more

If you have a sweet tooth, you will LOVE this place. These can definitely make a mess if you don't eat it fast enough due to the shape and size of these, but honestly not a huge issue. Definitely will come back! read more
Pretty yummy. Order and pay at the kiosk. Pick up at the counter . Only 2 tables inside but a good sized patio outside. Clean restroom, a/c works but they didn't have it set to frigid like so many places so that made me happy. Everything looked clean and in good repair. Peach ice cream had a good flavor. I am a big fan of coconut so the coconut crispy cone was very much to my liking. The cones were more bread like, which to me is not a bad thing at all. My only criticism, and it's a personal opinion thing, is that the spread choices were peanut butter, Nutella and cookie butter, I am not a fan of any of those and would have liked maybe a fruit/jammy kind of spread. It may not be possible with the cones but it would have been a better option for me. I just didn't get a spread which was no big deal since I thoroughly enjoyed my cone. The serving size was ample and the employees were eager to answer any questions. I say give it a try, I think you will like it read more
