    Cheesesteak wrap
    JM T.

I recently ordered takeout from CRISP CHIK'N, and I must say, it was an excellent choice! I placed my order directly through their website, which turned out to be a savvy decision as it was significantly cheaper than ordering through Uber Eats. Plus, the convenience of delivery via Uber made the experience seamless. Food Review: Starting with the main attraction, the 4 piece hot spicy tenders were a delightful explosion of flavor! They packed just the right amount of mild heat, perfectly complemented by the coolness of the blue cheese dressing. It's a great option for those who prefer something milder yet still incredibly satisfying. If you're a fan of spicy food, these tenders will not disappoint I would recommend going a level up the spicy is very mild and was perfect for me. My husband would have liked more heat. Rating 5/5 The 4 piece tenders with honey mustard were tender and juicy. I didn't care for the honey mustard it lacked the mustard flavor. I would recommend the spicy mild tenders vs natural. Rating 3/5. The waffle fries were a standout side! Crispy and golden, I could hardly resist going back for seconds plus cheese whizz was a nice contrast. Rating 4/5. Portion size was small. Ordered the cheesesteak wrap with American cheese and fried onions. This wrap was a hearty addition to my meal, filled with flavorful steak they put cheese whizz instead of the American cheese. I personally would not have ordered the wrap if I knew it would have the cheese whizz which is why I ordered the American cheese. The fried onions added a nice crunch and depth of flavor that really elevated the dish. Rating 3/5. If it would have had the American cheese I am sure it would have been a 5/5, the steak quality was also good. To wash it all down, I opted for an orange crush soda. It tasted like a cleaning product so I would definitely recommend not getting their fountain soda. Rating 1/5. Finally, I couldn't resist ending my feast with the funnel cake fries topped with powdered sugar. These were a sweet delight! Crispy on the outside and soft on the inside, they were like a carnival treat right in my own home. The powdered sugar made them feel indulgent, and they were the perfect sweet finish to a savory meal. Rating 4/5. Overall, my experience with CRISP CHIK'N was mixed rating 3.5. The food was delicious, the prices were fair (especially ordering directly), and everything arrived hot and fresh. If you're in Lansdowne and looking for a satisfying comfort food fix, I highly recommend giving CRISP CHIK'N a try don't order the fountain soda definitely try the mild chicken tenders.

After finding this place - the closest to me currently- they had no parking - I was confused by that - when arriving someone was blocking the parking lot ????was told 10-15 mins - it only took 8 - so the time for the food is pretty accurate- thanks again

12/7/25: ordered 20 wings with Buffalo sauce for pick-up. I didnt look at them until I got home. They we extremely burnt. WHY would any trained person give this to a customer? The waffle fries were very soggy and disappointing.

BEST fried chicken now, ever, here, anywhere, and from our deep Southern roots, we know our fried chicken. Hyperbole? No. IT IS THAT GOOD. Visiting Philly? GO! Live here? GO! Don't miss it. Make a special trip (we did)! IT IS THAT GOOD. Get it now before the lines form around the block. The chicken, the menu choices, the service, the location, the interior - all exceptional. Parking is just across the street (and as long as their meter is broken... free!). The owner brought out our food and offered us more sauces, all of which were exceptional (their signature sauce and the Nashville Hot were the best, and he's a really nice guy). We had the Bites and the Strips, and they beat any others by far. Bye bye Chick-fil-A. For lack of a better analogy, it's the "Steak Shack of fried chicken." One day when there are Crisp Chik'n locations everywhere with lines around the block to get in, you can say you had it before they made it - and they will. IT IS THAT GOOD.

Their chicken tenders are huge so be careful how many you order! I almost got a five piece and I'm glad I didn't, since a three piece was enough for two meals. I liked everything I got here. My husband got the Korean BBQ sandwich and thought it was good. The chicken is juicy and well cooked, good flavor. The cheese fries had a good taste but were a little soggy, which might be my fault since I drove them fifteen minutes back home and fries rarely travel well. Overall I like this place and will be back. The prices aren't too bad either.

This is the place you want to go for absolutely perfectly cooked chicken. My sandwich had a large breast which was moist and juicy inside and crisp outside. The sauce, pickles and Jack cheese combined to make a perfect sandwich. The service was fast and friendly even with a crowd from the art festival outside. Will definitely go back to give some of their other sandwiches a try.

There is plenty of parking the lot next door or across the street. The staff was friendly. You can order online or at the kiosk when you enter. The chicken is very good. Large portions and very tasty. The waffle fries are also good. I've visited about 5x in the last month or so. I'll definitely be back

Really good chicken sandwich and fries. The people who work there are super nice. Great addition to Lansdowne.

Chicken was delicious and crunchy, but the bacon burger stole the show, don't sleep on this place.

I wanted to find the best cheesesteak possible without detouring too much from my route and without going into Center City. I mapped it out, scoured reviews, and set my heart (and my GPS) to Leo's Steak Shop. It was easy enough to navigate to from the airport and there was plenty of street parking nearby. You could definitely call and order ahead, but I didn't have a long wait since the lunch rush was likely over. They were still busy and I probably waited 15 minutes for my sandwich. I went with a large cheesesteak which was insanely large. This could easily be split between two grown men. Lucky for me, I had leftovers the next day. I also snagged a bag of chips from the giant selection and a soda for the road. There are no tables inside and it was winter so I took it to go. Even though I hadn't eaten all day, I held off until I got to my hotel about 30 minutes away where I proceeded to devour half of this overstuffed cheesy monstrosity of a sandwich in the front seat of my car (had to wait to check in). I was in shaved steak heaven for the rest of the day. Then after a night of drinking with my buddies, I woke up to the second half in the fridge and proceeded to devour round two of this steak bomb which at that point was the only thing I had eaten for the last 24 hours. Next time I fly into PHL, I know exactly where I'm going.

This was a really great spot. My coworker and I were over in North Jersey for work but flew in and out of PHL rather than facing Newark. In order to beat the crazy construction traffic outside of Philly and to have a buffer for whatever TSA nightmare we were going to face, we got back near the airport early... like 4 1/2 hours before our flight kind of early. I wanted breakfast outside of the airport so I found this spot while he was refilling the rental car. I got the French toast with homefries. The french toast was perfect, with just a tiny bit of crisp in spot from the griddle. Same with the homefries. I would have liked a bit more seasoning while they were cooking, but a bit of salt and pepper and I was good to go. My coworker got the big breakfast but subbed out the homefries for corned beef hash. While I'm not a fan of corned beef hash, it looked exactly like how my mom and grandfather like it, with a little bit of crisp to it. The pancake was huge and he said his over medium eggs were cooked exactly like he hoped they would be. Now I just need to plan out my flights so I can come get breakfast here again and try one of the sandwiches, or omelettes, or maybe get French toast again...

Today was no exception. Their grilled chicken sandwich was not what I hoped for. On the plus side, it was a generous portion of chicken, most of which I took home. As a negative -- at least for me -- I like a flat filet, with grill marks. This was "chunky," rendering it clumsy to eat. It simply didn't taste grilled at all. And the chicken was dry. T ordered a country omelet that was filled with breakfast meats, cheddar and peppers. Though not my thing, I agreed it was pretty good. His grits were creamy, buttery and delicious. Coffee is strong and served in the old-fashioned heavy mugs that I favor. Our server was friendly. ("Where are you from?" she asked, picking up on my Brooklyn accent.) I asked if Greek lemon soup is ever on the menu. She said that the owners are Turkish, then gave me a rundown of their specialties, all of which sound delish. (Alas, no avgolemono.) I wouldn't hesitate to return to Folcroft. The menu is diverse, the restaurant is clean -- as pointed out by another Yelper AND our waitress. If you order the right thing, you'll no doubt be pleased.
