One of the other Yelpers has pointed out he is operating under 3 different company names, (this Yelp page used to be "Harvest Pool Services" last month...he's also going under the name "Jason" now) and his "business address" listed above is actually https://www.mckinneypackandparcel.com. We hired GP&A after speaking with several pool companies and chose them specifically based on their…read morereviews praising quick response times and communication. Unfortunately, that was not our experience. We did the "Green-to-Clean ($800)". It took SIX weeks. We had to repeatedly follow up because they would go ~2 weeks without showing up or communicating. When we asked, we were told there was an emergency situation, we tried to be understanding, but there was no proactive communication on their end. We decided weekly service ($250/month). After the initial clean, we signed up for weekly maintenance. Within 24-48 hours of each visit, chlorine levels would drop back to 0 ppm. GP&A's explanation was that our pool system was outdated and needed to be replaced. However, we had two separate pool inspections done when we purchased the home, plus 3-4 other pool companies assess the equipment, none of them flagged the system (installed in 2017) as a problem requiring replacement. Upsell attempts: GP&A quoted us a full system replacement (under $6,000) and then a filter replacement (~$2,200) before they said they could continue service. We decided to move on to another provider. End of service: We asked if they could continue maintaining the pool through the end of the month. Their last visit was six days before the final day of the month (image attached). The pool was visibly green and in poor condition by end of month (again they serviced it 6 days ago and it is this green; not adding enough chlorine). When we brought this up, they responded that the condition was "consistent with the unresolved filtration issue for which repairs were recommended", essentially placing responsibility on us for not purchasing their repair package. We were looking for a long-term, trustworthy pool service company. What we experienced was poor communication, inconsistent results, and recommendations that no other company has supported. I cannot recommend GP&A based on our experience.

Talked to them ten days ago. They were off last week. I hid no detail. Well, he came today. First thing was, he didn't know if he could get his equipment into my back yard (never had a problem with anyone else about that). Next, like it was a big freaking surprise, he said the pool was green. (No kidding, Sherlock.) Then he says the pump isn't sufficient for my pool (but gee it worked fine--same model--for three years). Turned around and left. Refused to consider a one time cleaning so I could maintain it myself. Not sure what their issue is, but I have maintained my pools in the past. It is not rocket science. I cannot now because I am almost 70 and disabled. They wasted my time because they knew the situation, came out, saw, and announced they would not help me. So unless your pool is basically perfect and you really don't need much help, maybe keep looking.
