The salesman said the only thing missing was the remote. That was not true. No One Connect cable. No feet. No mount. One Connect box wrapped in tape. None of it was disclosed. Without that cable the TV does not turn on. It is a black mirror. All of the upselling, then a TV that cannot work. He sold it knowing I would not be able to set it up when I got home. I live hours away. I cannot use what I paid for. This was not an open-box deal. This was an incomplete TV pushed out the door. He knew what he was doing. He should be fired. He wasted my time knowingly.

We had lightning hit our property which took out a bunch of electronics including our Yamaha RX-V 683 receiver. Web search indicated these guys as a service center and the reviews were positive. So I loaded up and headed that way as I had another errand in the same neighborhood. Lugged the unit in, set it on the counter where the man (owner) said "What you got there?". "My dead Yamaha AV receiver.". "We don't work on audio anymore.". Hmm. Geez. Most of their reviews are for audio stuff. He said they really only work on TVs now. Posted as a PSA. Call before you haul. And they need to get their listing on Yamaha's Service Centers page removed.

If it can't be repaired, or it's simply not worth it, they will let you know. I had Josh (I think that was his name) replace the lcd array on my 72 inch Sony TV. It cost me $500. Replacement of that TV would have been over $2000. As an added bonus, he reinstalled my sound bar and subwoofer in the way that it should have been installed from the beginning and the sound is 100 times better. I cannot recommend this business in any stronger terms. Check with them before you throw away a TV that can be saved.

Daniel took the time to listen carefully, understand my concerns, and then offered to call support on my behalf. From what I heard during the call, it seemed the original customer-service representative could have taken similar steps--but Daniel was the person willing to make the extra effort. Daniel went above and beyond to take ownership of the situation and make sure I left with a solution. His professionalism, patience, and commitment to helping the customer were greatly appreciated.
