Their mistake. Plus they never gave me the requested quote! When I called Emily to explain their billing mistake, she was incredibly rude, both on the phone and via email, and then sent my bogus "invoice" to a collection agency. Incredible. Sad because both Chris and Andre were very knowledgeable and friendly.

One writing called them "facing extinction" and most of us thought they went OOB. They never did. In fact, they are over 100 years old and kicking! Even back in the day when they closed thousands of stores and endured multiple bankruptcies, they still trekked along. This location is going strong, especially since relocating from the old K-mart mall on M-66. The folks I met were down home friendly and extremely knowledgeable. There is a little cell phone activity, but this is still the place where you pick up all your electronic repair needs. Rows of capacitors, diodes, switches and the boards to assemble them on. I didn't get through the entire store today (it's pretty a big place and Mrs. E was on the warpath to go to Thursday farmers market). But I bought a new soldering iron and a Volt/Ohm meter. The prices are pretty decent. I did notice a gentleman repairing what looked to be an android. They can replace batteries and do repair work on cameras and tablets. Probably more. 10/23

I called yesterday morning (9:30) and the voice prompt told me the best way to reach her was an email or text. I decided to send an email with the three different ranges I was looking at and the questions I had, hoping that would make it easier on her end to find the answers and get back to me. I waited all day-no response. So I called at 4:00pm and again, had a voice prompt giving me the instructions to leave a voicemail, email, or text. I left a voicemail and asked for her to please give me a call. I waited until this morning to hear back and still nothing. So I just called Lowe's and ordered one. I guess Witbeck's do not need my business. I tried going local, but Lowe's fulfilled my order in 5 minutes. I do not understand the mindset of this business.
