One writing called them "facing extinction" and most of us thought they went OOB. They never did. In fact, they are over 100 years old and kicking! Even back in the day when they closed thousands of stores and endured multiple bankruptcies, they still trekked along. This location is going strong, especially since relocating from the old K-mart mall on M-66. The folks I met were down home friendly and extremely knowledgeable. There is a little cell phone activity, but this is still the place where you pick up all your electronic repair needs. Rows of capacitors, diodes, switches and the boards to assemble them on. I didn't get through the entire store today (it's pretty a big place and Mrs. E was on the warpath to go to Thursday farmers market). But I bought a new soldering iron and a Volt/Ohm meter.
