Mind you this is after we had inquired at the front cashier about the possibility for talking to someone about frames. Which we were told to give her about "8 minutes" to get ready as she just got in. Which was super ok, nobody was in a rush. Back to being scolded when she noticed my wife and I standing there patiently, giving her a few more minutes to get ready for the day that the horrible treatment began. From that moment forward, my wife and I appeared to be a complete inconvenience to her morning and she literally offered no help at all. And to top it off, as my wife and i started walking away after realizing we were not going to receive any help, she started laughing at us. WOW. I sincerely hope this person does not accurately reflect how their other employees handle their customers. Bad, bad experience.

The store was able to switch my order to pick up, without me having to cancel. If I had to cancel it would have taken a few days to get my money back to be able to resubmit my order for pickup which means going without heat in negative temps. I am so thankful to the store manager for helping me out and getting this figured out so I could keep my heat going! This store really does care about the community they are apart of!

If you're a gardener, in the spring they have seeds and starts for perennials -- the roots of asparagus, rhubarb, and other food-bearing plants like that, in little bags, ready to plant. Bird seed and bird feeders. Pet food (though not the kind I'd ever buy) treats and toys and collars and leashes. Cool farm-themed toys such as animals, tractors & trucks, and fun cars. We love being able to bring our dog in there to get a treat and walk around and meet people. When we were there today, we met a young couple with a small puppy. They were buying a bag of dog food, a bed and a few other dog supplies.

Supplies for dogs, cats, small pets ... but also horses, cows and other small livestock. I have a bad memory that has not faded much over time. I think this place opened back in 2006 or 7. When it opened, there were bulk dog biscuits for sale. We got some, and within a couple of weeks, meal worms hatched out of them. Ew! From a brand new store? They must have bought old stock from some other store. On my recent visit, I did not see any bulk dog biscuits, and not very many dog biscuits at all. I am very, very careful not to get anything with ingredients from China, so I didn't see anything that really attracted me. I did notice Blue Buffalo cat & dog food. Along with some more common kibbles. There were a lot of leashes and harnesses for cats & dogs. What I don't like is that whenever I'm in a store like this, I have to keep an eye on my dog, who loves to find fallen kibble on the floor. She doesn't have any allergies, but I still don't like the idea of her eating anything I can't identify. We usually stop in for hardware items. That's about all this place is good for, in my opinion. The chair didn't fit in my vehicle so we left to get a bigger truck. Upon arrival I told them that I was back. They called for yet another manager who was also very sour. The ladies from the floor loaded my chair while I waited what seemed like forever for my receipt. The clerk handed the receipt as the manager walked away. I stopped her and said. Your welcome. She said what. I said you didn't even say thank you for my $650 purchase. She said are you upset about something? I said you'll get my review. Might I add the employees don't look very happy and no one even looked up to acknowledge our presence. This was the second day at the store. I went to another store and purchased $1200. How excited I was to have a new store where I just purchased a new home to furnish. I will not be back or purchase from this store in Petoskey, MI location

My dad had shopped at this store for years and and after he requested help from a manager the cashier proceeded to call my dad a dick in front of several customers causing a scene. The manager came over and asked what happened and the cashier denied this happened. My dad left in anger and the manager told my dad he would follow up with him about the situation and his membership. This never happened and he hasn't heard from them since. Be careful shopping at this store for rude employees and management that don't value their customers run the show.
