While helping him dig around in his store room I noticed a contractor model SawStop tucked away in the mess. Turned out it was a demo that he had loaned to a customer for a small job. Who does that! Short story is it's mine now and Fred sold it to me at a good discount (approved by SawStop of course). I use it almost everyday. I have since taken an older saw blade in for sharpening. I plan to buy a new Jet wood lathe from Fred tomorrow. I could buy it on Amazon, but I'd rather buy from Fred.
