Service is sub par. Team does not want to go the extra effort to steer clients in the right direction if they do not have a product to help them with. A simple question about an iPhone lens cover. The other ATT store said to maybe check them out. I did. They said you know were are not related at all to the other Petaluma ATT store. (They both were anxious to return to their handhelds.) I said it does not matter I just want a little guidance on how to replace a camera lens cover. They said Amazon and no we won't order any. I went to Batteries & Bulbs 3 minutes later. They ordered me a cover, leaned into delivering a fabulous client experience. I Do not recommend the north end of McDowell ATT store - not friendly or helpful. The South end of McDowell store is much more friendly & client focused even as they could not give me what I asked for. Going a little extra mile & kindness goes a long way. read more

Who likes to go to ATT? Not me generally speaking. It's always a hassle, always costs a lot and you're occasionally dealing with a stoned 20 something who doesn't know the answer to your questions and is trying to sell you. It's frustrating right?! This recent experience with John was easy, efficient and clearly memorable. We came in with my 6 month old and had a doctors appt in about 45 min. He was great. Knowledgeable, easy to talk, able to explain options clearly and we left buying a brand new phone. I live in northern Santa Rosa but will most likely make the drive to Petaluma in the future because the experience was so easy. Thanks for your time John and I appreciate the way you do business. I used Jacob O'keefe who is an excellent sales manager. I've worked with him to buy three iPhones for my business of which he advised on how to maximize the sales/offers that AT & T has. Truly, remarkable sales service. I'm also going to buy two more devices from him soon. You can't go wrong with this place. Note: Most stores have a huge turnover rate. This store has had the same employees for years which is very rare to find these day in the mobile phone world. Absolutely the WORST customer service I have ever reviewed, I went I'm with a a broken charging Cord that was still under warranty and he said. That's supposed to be a white cord why does it have marks? I told him that I had a one year warranty and that this os thw third one ovw had to replace and they're NOT cheap at $40 including tax. He then told me because of the color my warranty was VOID and that he wouldn't help me in finding another charger, his exact words were "it sucks to eat shit huh?" So I swallowed pride and went to the °AT$T store In rohnert park not only did the last HONOR my warranty she have me a $50 gift care for accessories, the taller man and the shorter asian men teamed up on me screaming lies in my Face while me mother was there causing her frear an heartache. I need my phone to keep contact with my 11 year old sister battling leukemia and because he had a wild hair,what would happen if she dies but I had no phone to recieve the information. I was having trouble getting my Nighthawk mobile router to work and spent hours over three days at the Santa Rosa Ave store with no success (the store manager told me the Nighthawk was defective). My iphone was not receiving or sending emails. I went into the another AT&T store (The one I bought the phone from) first and the representative said it was a problem with the phone and take it to Apple. I tried this place and they knew exactly what was wrong and fixed the problem within 5 minutes. I told them they should call the other store because they had no clue. This review is for the Manager named Andre. I needed to buy myself a new iphone, and hand down my current iphone to my wife, then trade hers in. Every time I do some complicated thing like this at ATT it is a nightmare of process and aborted attempts, repeat visits, etc. Andre was great. He quickly analyzed our ATT plan right off and found about $60/month in savings. He then recommended the right iphone package and payment plan and handled all the phone setup and transfers speedy and without any errors. He answered all my technical questions. I was there about an hour but it was extremely productive and I left with a much better setup than I was expecting at a great price. After going to the AT&T store on South McDowell and being told it was a 10-15min wait we left and came to this location...the girl working had 1 person here but chose to talk to someone on the phone giving her directions on how to do things instead of helping the people in store...and I mean 15-20minutes on the phone with someone...and the other clerk is/was on "lunch-break" and she didn't know when they would be back. Is this what customer service has come too?! Deal with your customers in store and be prevelant when it comes to instructions and don't ring people up separately for their phone and then case purchases!!! read more

I needed help setting up and pairing my Apple Watch I first went to ATT Store in Washington Square and they said they couldn't do it but I could go on line and get instructions so we went to the store in the Kohl's shopping center and Jordan was sooo helpful and welcoming. Turns out my phone was to old and not compatible so my husband bought me a new apple i phone 11 and himself an 11 pro max. The mgr J C was just as helpful. I moved to Petaluma and the apartment I moved to, although an ATT-serviced complex, did not have working ATT Internet service. Unfortunately, the first ATT tech who came closed my account--don't know why he did that without my consent. I finally got an experienced & very caring ATT tech rep (Art in Petaluma), who told me exactly what needed to be done, but on the day he came, I didn't have enough time for him to do the lengthy work it required. I set up another appointment and 2 ATT reps (Manny & Christian) from Santa Rosa came, and unfortunately were still learning. Art had left me his number & told me I could call him when I needed the work done. I did and with his manager's permission, he came & helped train the other two ATT reps, still learning & they re-worked my Internet. It took around 3.5 to 4 hours, but they completed the work!! All 3 reps were extremely customer-oriented and went above & beyond to do the work right. So appreciate them! Should you need an experienced ATT tech rep (s) with extremely "customer-first" mindsets, ask for Art (Petaluma) and Manny & Christian (Santa Rosa). They're the best! Thank you guys! read more

Worst customer service ever. We ordered a landline and they never showed IP during the 12 hour window I had to stay home and wait. THEN, I get a text saying I had to call and reschedule. After wasting an hour of my time already trying to get through to someone competent, I say if they can't call ME after missing our appointment then I'll live without a landline. read more

People here are horrible. My husband called in to ask if we are able to do an early upgrade on our lines. He was told that our bill will increase monthly plan by $25 on top of paying $300+ upfront . They kept pushing us to do the ATT next program which is the same as leasing a phone but paying over $700 overtime. I called an hour later because I was told by a representative somewhere else that my bill will not increase by $25 because I already am on a $40 dollar plan. The representative named Mario on this petaluma store picks up the phone, and asks me if I am calling on behalf of someone else that he already spoke to without even hearing me out. That is just rude and no one should ever answer the phone that way. He then tells me that he is with a client and asks me if I wanted to call back or be put on hold... no one should ever speak rudely to a person on the phone in front of a client. I will NEVER call this store again and never do business with these people. If I didnt have to pay so much money to cancel everything I have with ATT, I wouldve done it right at the second I spoke with Mario. read more

My experience here was ahhhhh not good. The guy that greeted me was cool, but because I didn't understand the NEXT plan. The manager came over while he was helping another couple an started yelling at me with a lisp. I couldn't help but laugh an left an bought my phone from down the street. Even though it wasn't the sales associates fault that was dealing with me. Thought it was rude for the manager to leave the customers he was with to interrupt his sales associate to yell at me. I've purchased at least 5 phones from the store. Vanessa and Brooke were exceptional. They each went out of their way to give exceptional customer service. They did way more than they needed to, and helped me understand my new phone. They didn't have the phone I wanted in stock, so Vanessa found one in another store, and had an employee who lived in Petaluma drop it off. That saved me a trip. Brooke was very good about helping me figure out ways to save money. Overall this is one of the best customer experiences I've ever had. It's rare to find store representatives that give better service than expected. I will continue to be a customer here. read more

AT&T is the worst company!! Every month my bill is wrong!! Extra fees are guaranteed!! You have to talk to 3 different representatives for over a hour before you actually get a hold of someone who tells you they can help.... they can't!! there just better at making you think they can!! I spend at least 1 1/2 hours or more on the phone trying to get a hold of someone and correct the bill that was suppose to be corrected the previous month. They say they will but they never do!! My time is worth much more!! I've been with them for almost 12 years.. Why, because they are the only company at the time in my area that offer service with somewhat of a decent connection. I get mailers for media com all the time, I'll have to check them out... If Media com charged me a little more and didn't try to nickel and dime me every month I'd be happy!! and I wouldn't be writing this review... If this kind of activity was illegal At&T would be in Jail!! My time and energy is way more important... This company knows how to make money and take advantage of the people that don't know any better or just except this kind of behavior!! We have had the absolute worst service from AT&T Do not use their service, cellular, internet or land line if you can help it. The worst customer service ever. The store makes insurance promises of coverage for damage of phone, no deductible, but really there is a $200 deductible. You always have to talk to someone one the phone. It ALWAYS take a good 45 minutes while you are shuffled from one person to the next. Their tech support is not well trained. they promise follow up and give a specific time they will call back, and don't. We have all of the above services and are just finishing out the contract and will NEVER use them again. Horrible!!!!! The cellular land lines they are pushing have poor quality with annoying beeping every minute or two. Even as I am writing this, I am waiting for "chat" assistance for my internet, "all agents" are busy, please wait. OK, waiting now for 40 minutes. The worst!! I think their customer service philosophy. is just to stall, shuffle, transfer until people just give up. I never rant about any service or business. But they are beyond belief. read more
