However, my lack of knowledge and subsequent indecision got the upper hand in that situation; I couldn't really decide which iPhone I wanted and - although the employee at that location was nice and pleasant to speak with - unfortunately he couldn't really answer my questions or provide much info about the differences in features, so I finally said I just wanted to do more research at home. He told me I had 30 days to decide if I'd like to get a new phone via some kind of deal with a bill credit over 24 months. So. Last night, I went to this T-Mobile location and 2 employees told me conflicting information; one employee said I had 14 days and the other said, "I'm pretty sure it's 30." After a little back and forth, with one employee confirming details online, both of them eventually said they can't help me so I would need to call 611 and have customer care complete the order for my new phone. Wait, what? After I left the store, I called 611 on my uncle's phone, waited on hold for almost 40 min and followed the silly tele-prompts to "guess this song!" (to distract me from the crushing realization that many minutes of my precious life are just ticking away on this call), before hanging up in frustration. I called again later and waited on hold for almost an hour before I finally hung up. I couldn't get ahold of anybody to help me get a new iPhone and I still really want one... My experience with this store and overall as a new T-Mobile customer has been fairly disappointing thus far.

To be completely honest, it was the most straight-forward, simple, quick mobile phone appointment of my life! We accomplished everything I needed, quite quickly, zero sales pitches. I even got a BETTER mobile plan than the one I was aiming for walking through the door! Excellent customer service via De Von at the Shawnee Mission T-Mobile store. Had a OnePlus 6T phone…read morewhich i've owned for over 2 years. Suddenly beginning of August, every call would drop at 3min 10sec. After investigation, many complaints arose with the same issue. This occurred after a software upgrade took place from OnePlus (Chinese). No time of a fix was given, so i decided with De Von's assistance to upgrade to a Samsung A71 5G. Without giving specifics, De Von was able to provide a sizeable discount being the issue with my OnePlus was not one i had created. He copied all info onto the Samsung and was very patient while i checked every aspect of data to ensure nothing was missing. I highly recommend asking for De Von if you are a T-Mobile customer. Just a side note, Samsung no longer makes their phones in China, but rather Vietnam which is totally fine with me.
