I took in my Apple MacBook Pro with a cracked screen. A blind man could clearly see the screen was cracked so no issue there. Fast forward three days later and they do not have the part, do not have the ability to get the part and can't fix the laptop. Fine, I'll come pick it up. They want to charge me a $75 diagnostic fee for something they DID NOT HAVE THE ABILITY TO FIX! Even the receipt says $0 diagnostic fee! I attached my receipt where it clearly says $0 so how they believe that I am going to let them get away with cheating me out of $75 is baffling. They bait you in with a guaranteed repair and when they can't deliver by no fault of yours they try to keep $75. He offered to reduce it to.$50. Um $50 for what sir? You lied and then did nothing. $50 for a lie, is that how much lies cost now? I'm disputing the charge with my bank and don't buy into whatever response this company makes regarding my review. They scammed me so they have to try to save face but believe nothing they say. RUN RUN FAR AWAY from Tech Fix or your hard earned money and your vulnerabilities will be taken advantage of.

Forget Apple and go here. There is no benefit to using Apple for repair service if you are out of the warranty period- these guys can do the same thing and they are meticulous. Not only was my screen still damaged, but Alif did a terrible job of removing the screen, tearing the home button when trying to remove it so the home screen was no longer working. He also forgot to replace two screws on the battery shield. Finally, the proxy sensor shield was missing completely. I ended up having to go to a phone store and get a brand new phone because the damage he did was not fixable.

I went to my car and contacted boost.. went back in, and he told me they were wrong... then he told me I should buy another sim card that he guaranteed would work but that boost said would not work. I trusted him (which was foolish of me, but I was desparate to get my phone working). Prior to activating it I went to the boost store at 270 and 3... they said, whoa, dont do that... then they had me up and running with the right card AND after hearing about my experience, did it for free (go there if you need help...they were awesome). As a matter of principle I went back to the columbus square location to return the card that would not work. The owner argued with me, said he would not give a refund even though the card was not activated. Then he started to brag saying he owned 18 stores... unbeleivable that they would let this guy ruin their reputation like this.
