Visited this store for the very first time, had been very excited to come since noticing it. The selection is mostly towards little girls I would say overall; like they have more girl items than boy items, which is fine. They did have cute stuff although the prices for the bigger items like the baby play mats, rocking horse, play yard, etc, were nothing to write home about. The prices on the clothes seemed good. And they had a selection of toys which err'd on the side of pricey for being used toys, and some weren't in good condition. I did like the store, as a thrift aficionado, but the thing that stood out to me most about this store was that the customer service was sub-par. The lady at the counter seemed annoyed by the presence of me and my family and when it was just after 06:30pm, she made sure to let us know that she was closing in "15 minutes," even though the store closes at 7PM. She also said something to my 2 year old son that I didn't quite hear when I was a few steps away, and the tone of her voice wasn't very kind. I understand people have bad days and that some store owners don't enjoy you perusing their store for a while when your baby wants to look around- I honestly would've bought something if I'd found something I wanted. I think based on that experience I wouldn't return here but would instead go to the other thrift store up the street, Tiny Treasures, I believe it's called. They are always so friendly in there. The least kid friendly kid's store in the world. I was so excited to have found a secondhand kid's store as I recently moved here and am expecting my second soon. I brought my husband along to watch my other child so that I could shop. We showed up 40 minutes before close (generally plenty of time for a small shop like this) and the second we walked through the door, the older woman working there was upset that we showed up. She said she would be closing soon and didn't stop reminding us the entirety of us being there, to the point it was hard to shop due to the stress and the huffing and puffing of the employee just at what seemed the sight of a (well behaved) child in the store. My husband was corrective of anything my child could have done wrong, and she'd double down on his corrections. Very unprofessional and probably the most disappointed I've ever left a store. She also basically said something along the lines of they really close at 6:30, which I was confused by. Making customers feel valued is clearly not a priority here. read more

This is one of my favorite places to get clothes for my little one! They have sizes from newborn all the way up to size 12 or 14 for kids. They do not purchase used clothes for cash but you can bring clothes and get store credit to get clothes you need in bigger sizes or toys. This time around I got some 2T clothes and the price ranged from $1 to $4 per item. They have a great selection of books and toys as well. They decorate the store with clothes for purchase for all the holidays. Last time I went they had cute rain boots and this time around they have bathing suits and pool toys. I always appreciate how clean the store is and how organized everything is by size. Makes it very easy to find everything! Plenty of parking out front. read more

Lots of good deals and they accept donations and give you store credit. Check shoes for wear and tear, but you can find some very nice toys and books there for the kiddos and be more sustainable with your used kids items. read more

NO COVID PRECAUTIONS! Be so careful!This is a great place and has great merchandise, however, the employees do not wear masks and when asked, said, "they do not believe in them". Considering the most of the customers are mothers of small children, I think this behavior is disgusting. Putting all their customers at risk in not a good business practice. read more

I saw this place next to my dentist's office and decided to give it a try. BAD decision! The staff was very nice. But I feel like I just got scammed by a shady business. I purchased DreamBaby bathroom safety kit at $10+tax. It was marked at $19.99 but I got it at discounted price. Sounds like a great deal, right? WRONG!! Later that day, I saw it selling at $9.40 at Walmart. But that's not why I'm giving this business one star. I would love to support local businesses. The problem is.. even though it's brand new, it's been on a shelf soooooo long that none of the safety items works! Those non-slip stickers are not sticky at all. They started peeling after 30 seconds. And toilet lock? Cabinet latch? Nothing works. Nothing! And I can't even return or exchange them because all sales other than apparel are final. This is my favorite store ever! They have so many awesome clothes and shoes and everything you could possibly imagine for the kiddos! I dont live near it but dont mind the driving. They usually have some great sales( prices are always awesome regardless) clothes is good clean clothes some even with new tags on them for cheap as $1 or $2! You can't beat that and all the staff including whoever is running their facebook account are super sweet! Came once a couple of years ago to get basketball shorts for my 9 month old. I'm not much of a thrift store shopper, but I was having a hard time finding shorts for the little guy as most stores were selling pants already. Thought the prices seemed high. Like sales prices at a regular non-used store. Went back this winter to get used snow gear as I didn't want to have to spends hundreds for what was going to be a single day trip. Unfortunately, I was late in the game and I found the last two snow jackets in the sizes I needed, but nothing else used. They did have some new snow gear which I ultimately had to return because as it turns out there was now snow around! My guys are still too young for activities at resorts, I checked. I kept the used jackets for those rainy/windy days here in Simi. The prices are much better than they used to be! I didn't feel like if I found a good sale I could buy new for the same price. I saw a Marvel onesie for a $0.25!!! It was for a newborn or 0/3 mo, for a QUARTER!!! The employee was explaining that they were trying to get their pricing figured out for a year or so and I must have originally come during that time. read more
