I came to Jiffy Lube on a whim when my regular shop couldn't get me in before a long drive. I got a…read morestandard oil change, which is typically pricy due to mileage on my car. The price here was similar to my usual spot, but Jiffy Lube also seems to always have coupons on their website for $10-15 off! The staff were respectful and quick. They did offer me "upgrades" to my oil change, but did not present it in a way that I felt obligated to say yes. It was quick and easy. I will definitely be coming again.

I do not take negative ratings lightly but I'm dismayed at this Jiffy Lube's handling of my…read moresister's car. What should have been routine brake pad changing ended up with my sister losing function of her brakes completely the next day from a caliper coming off and therefor the brake fluid bleeding. She was towed by a nice person back to the store and the tow driver asked for JL to pay for the tow as it was apparent it was their fault. They complied. The mechanic showed my sister her caliper and instead of taking any responsibility, stated it "unalived itself". They proceeded with repairs, didn't charge labor but did charge for parts. Upon settling the bill, they put the towing fee back to her! It's such an icky thing, to take advantage of someone in that way. You think this is where the story ends but alas! The brake light came on on the way home. Took it BACK in, they checked, topped off with fluid, and sent her on her way. Their demeanor was apologetic but not enough to REFUND this botched work. Brake light comes BACK on. At this point my sweet sister goes to a trusted mechanic who discovers her brake lines have air in them. I could share more but mostly I want it to be known that the treatment of my sister was unprofessional and disappointing and the mechanic doesn't seem to be very learned in the trade of mechanics. I'm so grateful losing her brakes didn't result in injury or loss of life, but the severity could have been huge.

Unfortunately, my sensors showed low PSI in both of my new tires. The staff got my straight back in, found a corroded sensor. They replaced it quickly and free of charge. So yes, a little oppsy on missing the sensor issue but it was taken care of immediately. I watched senior staff educate the newer team members on how to avoid this in the future and went over company policy. I was highly impressed with everyone involved, even if it wasn't the smooth transaction I was hoping for. I would much rather to continue to do business with a company that stands behind their work and trains their employees appropriately.

Came back today to get one of my tires patched up since I had drove over a nail. Walked in at 2:00 PM, they didn't even look at my car until 3:45 PM. I was told it would be ready by 5:00 PM. 4:45 PM rolled around and they STILL HAD NOT EVEN TOUCHED MY CAR. The guy next me told me that he had an appointment for 1:00 PM and they didn't even look at his car until 3:30 PM. It got to the point where I started calling around at other places to see who could take me. THANK GOD the Kia dealership of Muncie was able to get me right away. In and out in 20 minutes. Easy. Not to mention, their technicians were supposed to leave at 5:00 PM but stayed over and helped me out. When I asked the worker at Discount Tire for my keys back so I could leave, he said "I don't blame you, there's still 5 cars ahead of you". A fact that would have been nice to know HOURS EARLIER. I wouldn't have been nearly as upset if he had simply been honest with me and then provided some alternative places that could complete the service. Absolutely TERRIBLE customer service. I will not be going back. If y'all need work done, go to the Kia of Muncie.

I finally went in under the guise of getting all this help, new programs to help me get into a better payment, etc. I hate having my time wasted and wasting other people's time. I told them from the start there was no point in coming in but they push and push and push and promise that they have all these incentives one could qualify for in order to get top dollar for my trade (on top of being a GM Legacy potential deal as my dad worked for GM). I bought this car through a customer service repair associate (after a previous terrible experience). Previously, I was able to use my warranties as down payments. Now, Stoops has a new owner and because it isn't the "old Stoops" I could only get cash back after my trade in. I couldn't use that same cash back toward a down payment meaning my payment would still be sky high. This is ridiculous and I am highly upset. I was told my credit was fine and I could be approved but there was nothing they could do about keeping me at a better (or even the same) payment. I also had an email about $7/down.
