5 years I used these people in good months and bad. The wash and people in Anderson are all fantastic BUT, after changing to a new system, they double bill my monthly account and after assuring me three/ four times, the money has never been returned! Clancy's was convient for me but after the way the people in Muncie, who actually run things treated me, I am now doing business with Crew car wash. Take the $29.95 a month and multiply it by 5 years and figure out what their stupidity cost them. Now you see why they work at a car wash! read more

terrible I car ran into the back of us while we were getting a carwash. The employee had us and the car that hit us fill out a contact information sheet. Later they stated that it wasn't their responsibility to cover the damages nor would they give us contact information to the person that hit us. The employee that was working at the time of the accident had no idea what the process was nor could he contact a manager to find out the correct steps to get repairs done. I would give 0 stars if I could. The conveyor belt malfunctioned and caused the car in front of me to hit mine, resulting in damage. Since then, this location has been extremely poor with communication regarding the repairs. I still have not received payment for the damage, and the lack of follow-up has been incredibly frustrating. Management has been unprofessional and unresponsive throughout this entire process. I have been without my car for over a month because of this situation. I would not recommend this location to anyone read more

Unfortunately the poor reviews are real here. This use to be my go to a few decades ago when living in Muncie. The service up front was very good. Unfortunately the wash was awful. I can only assume they have old equipment. Large areas were missed and soap not rinsed off. I would not return. I do appreciate the nice staff. read more

I have been going to Clancys for years for quick washes especially in the winter time. I always get the double dirt buster. Twice this winter I have paid the $24 for the wash and then left and went home. I live 45 minutes away so when I get home and I see a dirty car still I am irritated. I really like going to clancys but it's just not worth it to me anymore because I'm just going to have a dirty car still. read more

I just left the mcgalliard location and it was horrible. The outside wash, the brushes were hardly spinning. The water pressure was basically nonexistent. They "cleaned" the inside and that was a total joke. I have a Kia carnival and they didn't even touch the third row. There's still dirt from my kids shoes on the door panels. So, now that i wasted my money, I'm going home to REDO it myself. Never again will I go here or recommend this "business" to anyone. read more

I had a coupon for a free Double Dirt Busters car wash given to me by a friend. It was supposed to be double everything, their highest tier wash. The person accepting my voucher was professional, then I went to the first part and that was fine except they didn't stop to think my ltz trim silverado would have power folding mirrors and folded them in manually, which thankfully seemed to not cause any problems. The car wash process was ok. The car rolled very fast past the blow dryers so still much water left. However, the hand dryers at the end had lack of effort as they dried 1/2 my windshield a small area on my hood and around my tonneau cover rather than the rest of the areas that were completely wet. I checked after and they scratched my bed near the rear wheels pretty bad and the tailgate looked like it hadn't been touched. Still covered in dirt and grime. read more

I rarely post negative reviews. However, today I decided to try Clancy's again on McGalliard after going to Crew for a few years. The person that I paid was professional. I was the only vehicle at this location at the time. After pulling around to the wash entrance the two younger gentlemen were preoccupied in their phones. I stopped to figure out what I was to do next. I was then yelled at to "PULL FORWARD" with a disgusted head shake. the Then a loud "STOP" with the same body language. Then yelled multiple times for me to turn on my wipers (most car washes have signs telling you to NOT turn on your wipers). My vehicle was moderately clean. Last time for Clancy's. Back to Crew where you are ALWAYS greeted with a smile, a wave and "Have a great day!" Clancy's needs to step up their game if you want to compete. read more

This Clancy's has gone down hill lately. They push cars through to quick so the dryers don't have time to do a good job because the next car is about to rear end the one in front. Tillotson is the best by far!! read more

I recently went through this particular Clancy's carwash. My car got soaped, but the rinse and the blower were both out of commission. I was told that they were just going to hand dry the soap off my car. Other cars were going through fine, so I asked if I could just run it through again. I was asked which carwash I had purchased (the least expensive, the $8 wash), but no, they dried my soapy car. A person I presumed to be the manager came out, felt the car hood & noted that it was sticky, he washed it with a damp cloth, then dried it. Soap film can't be good for a car. I felt that they should have sent me through again, or compensated me for the half-wash. The interior cleaning is up to $10 now. Eighteen dollars for the least expensive wash with interior clean. They don't do a very good job on an interior clean. My suggestion is to go to the Clancy's on Tillotson. They do a much better job on an interior clean. read more

This is an excellent car wash but they've got a really screwed up service practice! You get in line to get a full service car wash nearly $20 and you have to sit in line where customers paying for an express wash come in and go out! I understand they have three service lanes but they really need to practice something different. I said in line for 45 minutes to get a full service car wash while nearly 25 other lesser paying customers went through. This bullshit..,i'm never coming to this car wash again! it shouldn't take you an hour to get your car washed inside and out! Add some more damn help! Entered into Clancy's Car wash in Yorktown In. on the morning of Jun 29. Man got stuck in front of me I helped him out, He told me to use his wash. After using his wash exit out of bay the wash arm came banging across my new Toyota with damages of almost 1400.00 and they refused to pay after meeting with a Manager. I have estimates and two witnesses and 911 log, I am getting ready to file in courts unless they make this right. I would not suggest using this car wash just in case this happens to you. Took my new Jaguar, which was in perfect condition to the McGalliard location. After I got home I noticed two rows of "V" shaped scratches down the hood. I know for a fact they were not there before the wash. Also, the scratches were too symmetrical to have been from a random accident. Of course I have no way to prove that Clancy's was responsible. But I know they were. I will never go through any automated car wash again. read more

If you go to Clancys and there's an issue with your payment be ready to be told to wait, refunds come in the mail after you have fill out a piece of paper and wait for someone to process it then you'll receive your refund Via snail mail. Plus you'll leave with a still dirty car, just go to Mike's car wash. read more

Today I had a terrible experience at Clancy's car wash. When I pulled up I was greeted by a man who wasn't very friendly, he was ready to take my money and be done with it. I asked for the express wash, which was advertised as $9 on the side of the building. When I told the man working that I wanted the express wash he looked at me and said "$19", I was socked. I said "is this the cheapest wash you have?" And he said "yes". $19 I paid for a CARWASH, just the "basic carwash" this place had to offer. Then I proceeded to sit in line for 25 minutes, after my money had already been taken, just to get into the carwash. After my wash was complete, I drove down the road and saw that there were water spots still on my car. I was very disappointed with this carwash and I will not be returning. read more

Febuary 11, 2017 8pm. Stopped in to get a very dirty car washed, by the way very first time here, and second time in Muncie, only to be confronted by a very rude associate. Like I said very first time here,be the last, as for visual associates seen one upon turning in setting on what to appear as a bucket with cell phone in hand. We drove clear around to entrance to go into wash area, this rude associate came up and stated you drove by where you were to pay!! We didn't know this because no visible associate was there at the time. We tried to explain to him we didn't know this because of being our first time. Well you drove by where you were to pay was his remarks, very sarcastic. Upon that we ask how much a wash was and if we could pay here. Again very rude , Well do you want a wash" At that time we politely said we will go elsewhere to get it washed, and we left. I have spent almost 13 yrs in retail business and when it comes to an associate having an attitude toward a paying customer isn't the best. A dollar is to hard to earn these days. By the way being dark the associate if he had a name tag you couldn't see it, was fairly tall and wore dark rimmed glasses.
