BIG ASS Fans give this gym probably most of its rating…read more Let me be honest gyms are difficult to review, they ALL have the same issues. They ALL seem to have the possibility of cars being broken into, please find my other post for a different gym I've had this happen at. Gyms are easy targets for this kind of selfish act, you go in you generally commit to an hour and they know that, and MOST gyms I have encountered have a façade of what are surveillance or its broken. The gym upkeep is better than most I have experienced, plenty of machines that still have an abundance of life to them, this includes the logos and various directions of intensity, speed, resistance are all still visible and able to read. Unless you memorized a machine having these user friendly labels worn off can be disastrous. The childcare room while spacious is chaotic. I understand members are only paying 10 and change a month (yes 9.95, but there are the little pocket change fees that are broken down and added on), so you get what your paying for, but its a free for all zoo in there sometimes. And, the toys they do have which they are sparse, definitely have seen some love as many are broken. This gym will keep me coming to it though as long as the group classes I enjoy continue and those huge wind machines keep humming and drumming, such great fans!

Champions and every other location allow members to visit other locations. This location has no exercise classes, no kids club, and isn't actually Elite at all. I only visited when in the area but won't anymore. They expect you to pay extra to only occasionally visit and treat you like they don't want you there.

Much better than the filthy Woodlands location…read more Pros 1) Staff actually gives a damn & is visible throughout the gym. 2) Rules are enforced more consistently than at the Woodlands location. 3) The facility is noticeably cleaner & better maintained. 4) Equipment repairs & maintenance issues are handled in a timely manner. Cons 1) Members frequently leave weights unracked with little to no enforcement. 2) No policy (or enforcement) regarding members occupying equipment for extended periods while taking selfies, filming videos, or sitting on their phones. 3) Music at the front desk can be excessively loud & isn't always appropriate for all members. 4) Parking lot security remains a concern. I personally know someone who has had two trucks stolen from this location. Overall This is by far the better 24 Hour Fitness location in the area. The staff is more engaged, the facility is cleaner, & maintenance is handled much faster. While there is still room for improvement with gym-floor etiquette, equipment-sharing enforcement, & parking lot security, I would choose this location over the Woodlands location every time.

Despite living less than a mile from another 24 Hour Fitness, I happily drive 5.5 miles just to attend her classes--she's that good. Hynetha is a petite powerhouse, full of energy and positivity. Her voice is pleasant, her demeanor is always kind, and she treats all of us seniors with genuine respect and care. She offers great variations for every exercise, making sure everyone feels comfortable and included. Her music choices are spot-on: upbeat Latin and oldies for Zumba Gold, and classic oldies for Silver Sneakers. The vibe is always fun and uplifting. I find myself smiling throughout the entire 60 minutes class. The time just goes by so fast. She creates a welcoming, joyful environment that keeps me coming back week after week. I have been pleased with the facility as well with the upkeep. Pretty good for a Super-Sport location. Note pictures attached. If you're looking for a fitness instructor who brings heart, energy, and a whole lot of fun to every session, look no further. We absolutely love Hynetha!

This place is the real deal. A pretty active athlete throughout high school (tennis, ran with cross…read morecountry kids, lifted heavy weights), I fell off the track after graduation and was in desperate need for something that would push and challenge me. I tried going to the gym, which worked out for a while, but I soon became bored with the constant repetition. I needed something a little more interesting. Lo and behold, I stumbled across this gym. Met the owner Jeff on an open gym day, who offered a free class before a membership, but I decided to become a member right then and there anyways. Best decision I could've possibly made. Here's a mental picture of a typical weekday evening, maybe around 7: walking into the gym, the first thing you see and hear are the punching bags. The smack of gloves against rubber, and then a timer going off every minute or so at a constant rate. Look to your right, a small class of new members doing a warm up. Look up at the boxing ring, a sparring match is taking place while the owner Jeff is on the sideline throwing in commentary for improvement. Chairs by the front might be occupied by a mom or two, watching as her little ones learn the basics of shadow boxing and how to wrap their hands for protection. All whilst rap music is blasting throughout the gym. With this scene in front of you, you won't be able to shake off this need to put in some work. Moving onto the actual classes. Not going to lie, the first few days suck. The workout with the instructor Jorge is going to kick your ass- I've been here for a little more than a month and for some classes I show up to, there's someone running to the bushes outside to puke at the very end. I've seen a military personnel practically winded- guess boot camp has nothing on here! But as the weeks pass by, you start noticing that hey... I did 10 more than the last time. This doesn't suck as much. And you start noticing how your stamina is improving, and that makes everything so incredibly worthwhile. You can thank Jorge for that, an amazing instructor who will push you beyond your boundaries, but understands that the body still has physical limits and will always want your health to come first. All around fantastic gym with great energy. I highly recommend to anyone seeking out a good workout for a very good deal, wants to relieve some stress, or plan on becoming the next Rocky. This is the place you want to be at.

In one example not only the half-used bottle of water was left behind on the treadmill, there were food crumbs on it. In another example an underwear was hung on the wall of a women's bathroom stall. Unfortunately despite repeated reporting to the manager/supervisor things are getting worse. 2. For almost $80 I pay for a locker, I am supposed to receive free laundry but practically I can't use this service because their laundry service destroyed one of my t-shirts and I was never compensated for it. 3. Their recovery room is closed for 1.5 hours (2:00-3:30) every business day which makes no sense. For the upscale club that this is supposed to be, the above issues should not exist.
