French toast with added eggs and sausage.
Rick O.

Loved this place! The only thing is that they put chamoy on their Michalada's. (I don't like chamoy, I wish the server would have mentioned it). No big deal. Next time, I'll order without it. To mention this first is what stuck in my head! Lol. Anyways... It is a quaint little cafe in a small shopping center next to the post office. There are a lot of parking spaces and it can get busy, but I say it's worth the wait and I guess for the people who were waiting outside too. We ordered the French toast with egg and sausage and the daily special which was a pork chili verde omelette. I also ordered a side of the biscuit and gravy. Because there is a sign stating that they had the 'BEST' B&G. I am no expert on B&G, but I have had my share of them from Tennessee to Texas, Nevada, Az and up and down Ca. The gravy was EXCELLENT! Thick and rich but not overly floured to make it thick. The bits of sausage and seasoned with just the right amount of pepper. The biscuit was soft and spongy. I understand that there many different camps on how a 'biscuit' should be made. This biscuit was perfect for ME. Well done to the chef! My omelette was fluffy like a Japanese omelette and covered with delicious pork chili verde sauce and melted cheese. The country potatoes were delicious mixed with bell peppers and onions. The French Toast with the add-on eggs & sausage. They have maple & Boysenberry syrup AND the syrup comes out in warmed up bottles. They have lunch and dinner options too. We'll definitely be back. The entire staff was friendly and nice. Helping each other out is always nice to see. This place has a family owned warmth feeling about it. The food was delicious and the service was excellent. This is why I support small businesses. Thanks for your interest and remember to be kind to others.

As newer full-time residents, we find Crestline Cafe part of our home. The food is outstanding. Prime rib special is everything special! Generous portions, included! The real part of Crestline Cafe comes from the community. The servers, every one who works there are warm, friendly, professional. It's always a treat to have Paige as our server. She's become part of our Crestline family!

The food and service was amazing! We were visiting Crestline for a local event and decided to grab dinner at Crestline Cafe before heading back home. I had ordered a cup of French onion soup and their teriyaki chicken dinner plate. The portions are huge and the food tasted great. Paige was our server for the evening and was highly attentive. This is my second time eating here and I plan to try their breakfast the next time I am in the area. I highly recommend Crestline Cafe.

Stone Creek Bistro - Steak tartare (sorry I forgot to take the photo before digging in)

Celebrated my birthday here and wanted a yummy restaurant with a unique menu. Stone creek was the…read moreperfect spot! It was intimate and the service was great. Very small restaurant so highly recommend getting a reservation. We tried many items from the menu. I really liked the steak tartare which tasted of truffle and loved that they had different things to add on top as well. It was really good steak and not at all chewy. The soup du jour was a creamy caramelized onion soup which was decadent and so good. For my entree I got the seafood pot which I liked but wasn't obsessed with. The curry was very thin and the seafood felt a bit overcooked for me. But the taste was good, just wish the curry was a thicker paste than a liquid soup texture. My family all loved their entrees and said the quality of their various steak dishes was remarkable. The waitress was so kind as well. Would love to come back next time I'm in town!

Stone Creek Bistro is the premier dining destination in Lake Arrowhead. I learned from their…read morewebsite that the bistro was established in 2013 and their menu is moderately priced with a mix of Southern American comfort food and traditional French bistro cuisine created with passion by Chef Sam Perry. Reservations are recommended before visiting. There is limited parking along State Highway 189, so plan accordingly especially during peak hours. I started my meal with a craft beer and a half order of the Grilled Caesar. There are a number of quality starters and entrees to choose from but after asking for a recommendation from our server, I settled on the Spicy Thai Basil Spaghetti. I also was fortunate to have the opportunity to try the steak Tartare. Every dish was thoughtfully prepared and well-crafted with fresh ingredients, and it made for an overall great meal. The ambience is cozy and the staff is also attentive. It's no wonder Stone Creek Bistro is so popular! I'll def be back the next time I'm in Arrowhead.

1/5 -- Would absolutely not return…read more I honestly wish I could give this place zero stars for the food. This was easily one of the worst meals my family and I have had in a very long time. We drove up from Riverside to spend the day at Lake Arrowhead Village and enjoy Oktoberfest. We asked a local where we should eat and ended up giving Lakefront Tap Room a try. Unfortunately, that was a mistake. First, I want to make something VERY clear: our waitress, Sam, was fantastic. She was extremely nice, friendly, attentive, and treated my family great. My one star has absolutely nothing to do with her. If I were rating Sam, she'd get five stars. The FOOD, however, was horrible. My fish and chips were probably the only halfway decent thing at the table. I also ordered two margaritas. They were extremely small and, for what you're paying, nothing special whatsoever. But my daughter's cheeseburger was what really did it for me. My daughter is 15, blind, and an extremely picky eater, so we intentionally order her food as simple as possible: bun, meat, cheese, and Thousand Island. That's it. We're talking about a basic cheeseburger. What came out looked terrible. The bun was extremely dry and there was hardly any Thousand Island on it. I asked another waiter for a side of Thousand Island, and he brought me a little cup of some watery brownish-orange liquid. I honestly don't know what it was supposed to be. It had the consistency of water and looked nothing like any Thousand Island dressing I've ever seen. My daughter took ONE tiny bite of her burger and immediately wanted nothing more to do with it. I don't blame her. We pushed the basically untouched burger to the edge of the table and told our waitress we didn't want it. Then we were told they'd take about TWO DOLLARS off the bill because she didn't like her $20+ burger. Seriously? My wife's patty melt wasn't any better. It was overcooked, the bread was extremely hard, and overall it was just bad. For the prices this restaurant charges, the quality of the food was completely unacceptable. Being in a beautiful location overlooking Lake Arrowhead doesn't make up for serving terrible food at tourist prices. Again, Sam was awesome. I actually feel bad leaving one star because she did such a good job, but I'm reviewing the restaurant and the food we paid for, not just our waitress. We will absolutely NEVER eat here again. There are plenty of other places to spend your money at Lake Arrowhead Village. I strongly suggest choosing one of them.
