The pancake syrups came out really warm!

A very warm and welcoming restaurant for a breakfast or lunch in the Valley of Enchantment area of Crestline. Staff were very friendly and attentive, food was tasty and of good portion sizes, and fairly priced. Parking outside the establishment is limited.

This diner is cute. My friend and I sat outside on the deck and it was a pleasant dining experience. Our waitress was very nice and accommodating. The diner is decorated in 50s retro with some music playing on inside. The chicken strips and pastrami were great and the service was excellent. The prices are reasonable.

Best diner style place on the mountain. Also treated with love and respect unlike the a different cafe I've been too in crestline. Everyone should make this their favorite spot.

It's great to have a diner so close to Cedarpines Park. Perfect spot if you don't have to run into town. Great atmosphere, friendly service and staff. The food and prices are amazing!

Amazing food and service. I enjoyed the small town feel and flavorful food. I will be back the next time I'm in the area.

    Yummy brunch

Wonderful food and best biscuits and gravy ever! The owner is super sweet and the food is THE BEST

The VOE Pastrami Sandwich and loaded baked potato soup.

Every time we visit this restaurant, it never disappoints. Delicious food, friendly staff, just an overall great restaurant. The owner is fantastic and greets every customer. We plan on coming here every chance we get.

Sunrise House Style Biscuits & Gray (omg, the gravy was so good!)

I'm so glad we went here for breakfast! We have heard so many good things and after finally going, I get it! The food was SOOO good! Great flavor, great prices and great atmosphere! And the service was great! You get small diner vibes, which I love. I am so happy the owner, Bree, opened up this restaurant. It really is worth a try if you haven't been yet. I will be back!!!

A local nod to hikers and the beauty of the forest. :)

Arrived with a party of 4 and there was a short wait to get seated. There's about a total of 12 or so tables but it was moving at a decent pace. Unfortunately things went south from there. Got seated and the waiters were pretty fast and attentive. I had an early breakfast so decided to go with the lunch Patty Melt as it was a restaurant house specialty. Friends ordered the BBQ sandwich and Ragin Cajun. It took almost 30+ minutes for the food to come out and most of the meats came out very dried for some reason. The fries were fabulous though. Decor is very mountain diner-esque but clean and comfy. Maybe what we ordered was not exactly their specialty as I saw lots of people eating breakfast. But the lunch menu was just not it on Sunday sadly. Was so hungry from the long wait that I even forgot to take photos of my food.

This is a low-key, "local vibe" kind of diner ~ do not go here for ambiance or high end cuisine. That said, the server was friendly and helpful with the menu. We both had burgers and fries/onion rings - I had the Ortega burger with cheddar cheese, 5/5, SO GOOD!! WILL GET AGAIN!!! I knew the burger would be good, this place is your "typical diner" - however, I was actually blown away by it!! Fries and onion rings were delicious too!! Salty, crunchy and perfectly cooked. Ranch sauce was fire too. My BF has been eating at this place for years now, and has nothing but good things to say about this place as well. We can't wait to go back soon and try the Mexican food, as our server recommended trying that cuisine. Based off these experiences and the friendly head nod from the cook as we left - we'll be back and will try something new. I actually look forward to trying breakfast there as well, at some point soon, as I heard the people seated behind us talking how good their waffles and pancakes are. Please try this establishment, I hope you enjoy as much as we did!

The food portions here are very generous, and the pricing is extremely fair. Just like any diner the menu is very large and has a lot of great options on it. Service was very fast and friendly, and they are true champions with staying on top of the drink refills. There is a large free parking lot right in front so parking is very easy and close. Inside is pretty small, they have about six booths and twice as many counter seats so if it is busy, you may have to wait a little bit, but it will be worth it. For this visit, I chose the Chili Cheese Omelette and really liked it. I wish it would've had less beans and more meat but overall I can't complain because I finished the entire thing. They also do four eggs for their omelettes so it is a bit larger than you will usually get. As mentioned the coffee is great and they will continue the refills the second you need it. It's located in sleepy Running Springs, which is in between Lake Arrowhead and Big Bear. It's less than a 10 minute drive from both locations so it is a really great option for breakfast when visiting. We will be back next time we are visiting the mountains.

We opted to sit outside and they turned on all of their outdoor heaters for us, even though we're were initially the only ones out there. It was a cold night but the heaters made it comfortable. I ordered the chicken tenders and fries. One of my friends ordered the bacon bbq burger with onion rings. We split these plates so we could both try two different dishes. I accidentally ordered a buffalo sauce instead of the bbq for my nuggets, and I was not a fan of the sauce. It was a dark sauce with too much smokiness to it. My friend ordered a side of bbq and that one was much better. The tenders are crispy and pair well with their bbq sauce or their ranch. The burger was also tasty. Fries were okay and I did not like their onion rings. They had a different taste to them. I couldn't put my finger on the flavor but it wasn't good in my opinion. My other friend ordered mozzarella sticks, and they were not good. No cheese pull, and it honestly tasted like moderately fried string cheese. The food took a really long time to come out. I know they were busy, but once the food came, we inhaled it because of how hungry we were. The vibes there are excellent though. We really enjoyed the music and the staff were fantastic. I still recommend making a pit stop here if you're ever in the Crestline area.
