Beautiful day on the course! Came to practice all areas of the game...driving range 2 large buckets $30. Putting practice and chipping! This course has come a long way! The course looks amazing! The course is looking healthy and green! Tip of the cap to the superintendent and grounds keepers! U can see all the effort being put into the development of this course and it has become a great course to work on things! Prices r high, but when u see ur dollar being put back into the course u cant help but be okay with green fees! Wish they'd consider getting on the Youth on Course program again...my son and I love to play, but he isn't at that level where I want to spend those green fees on his game! Either way this course continues to improve each season! I love the fact that they have a league play opportunity and I am strongly considering joining the league! Continue the positive improvements! Always a great time with the relaxed atmosphere and friendly staff! Course is always busy, but never do they stack so bad that ur waiting and annoyed, however this course has a ton of novice players that create a timely round! If u r decent at the game and looking for a steady pace round this may not be the ideal course for u!

This course could be great if the owners just put money into it. You'll be hitting off lots of dirt. Some fairways you'll get lost due to all the dirt. Some tee boxes you'll be hitting off a mat that was just thrown there. Golf carts are falling apart and barely run. The potential is there but owners could care less it looks like. Twilight is the way to go here best deal for conditions. Hole 17 is a great par 3 and probably the best hole here. Hole 18 is probably next.

So I decided to give Cresta Verde Golf Course a try, since my favorite courses were sold out and booked. I practiced first at the range which was ok. When I initially checked in I was told to come back for my cart about 15 minutes before tee time. After I got the cart, I could tell it was very old, cracked seats and not in great shape at all. The first hole is pretty and has a nice look to it, but that's as good as it gets for the course. Many fairways are in bad condition. Lots of dry areas, holes, and bumpy fairways. I was disappointed. However, the other golfers that were teamed up with me were lots of fun and we had a great time despite the poor conditions. The price was fair, much lower than other courses nearby, but the condition of the course explains the lower cost. Other reviewers have cited a lack of improvement, and it clearly shows. The 3 stars is being generous. But again, golfing with other golfers who enjoy the game made it a fun day.

Overall very poor conditions even for a public course. Golf carts are aging and some have trouble climbing the many hills. Holes range in condition from fair to extremely poor with areas of dirt or mulch where fairways should be. Cart paths have many bulging areas from tree roots. Course is likely fine for beginners but will be disappointing for anyone coming in with higher expectations. Layout wise there are many elevation changes that can keep things interesting but blind shots are a challenge especially when the poor fairway conditions make it hard to tell which way the hole is going.

A picturesque rolling hills with relatively well hydrated fairways and greens even with 90 degrees of intense heat inland lies a very impressive golf course in the midst of well developed community in Corona. If you take a Toll Roads Hwy 261 and 241 you can get there in thirty minutes from Irvine. The price is higher than Chico or Green River but the courses are better than the other two. You have to cross many smaller residential streets and one crossing has a golf cart crossing traffic lights for your safety. I didn't lose a ball but it's a tough course. I am definitely going back to improve my score. I am going to play smarter next time since my father beat me pretty soundly. He knows the course very well. The associated lunch diner within the proshop had decent hamburger and fries along with excellent beer selections for pretty steep prices. I paid $40 for two burgers and two beer. They have good service and friendly staffs.

Dana and I gettin in a round!

Course isn't terrible for the price, what does suck is the sprinklers being on for just about every hole on the course at 3pm.

I had made it a New Year's resolution to take golf lessons and found Sonny through the PGA's Get Golf Ready program to introduce people to the game. He was great at explaining everything from stance to club grip and had a ton of useful drills that I could use to practice on my own. After the month was finished, I continued with lessons once a week for two more months at the Newport Beach Golf Club. My long game needed work (I couldn't hit too far originally), but saw improvement after our training to the point that I was ready for a game (which was my goal). We did two games as lessons where we went over all the rules, golf etiquette, club selections, etc. He always had the answers to my questions and had various ways to help with learning (filming by video, personalized drills, etc.). He even helped me figure out which golf clubs to buy in my Craigslist search. Throughout all this, he was always patient and encouraging and knew exactly what I need to fix to get the result I was looking for. Super happy now that I can play golf with a solid performance - Sonny is highly recommended whether you are just learning or looking to improve your game!

I asked for rates on group lessons. I sent an email back requesting additional information and its been over a week and no response. I guess Sonny is way too busy to take on new students. Or maybe he should just list his rates online if he doesn't want to be bothered with these questions. Anyways, I was unable to take a lessons because I couldn't even get pricing from him. There are 2 other instructors at this location so I will be reaching out to them.

Didn't know Club Champion was even a business until Yelp. Made an appointment online for a full bag evaluation for my husband. Club Champion sent several confirmation emails and called my husband to set up the meeting and experience. We met with William who was very friendly and explained the meeting. Be sure to note that if you do not purchase a new club or clubs then you pay for the club consultation. My husband took about 150 swings with so many varieties of clubs u til he found the right club and head for his playing style. The entire time William gave feedback, evaluated his swing and kept making adjustments to the shaft and head. Seemed like about 20 different variations were performed. My husband opted not to purchase a new club after the session because he will not have time to play for a few months during his coaching season so we just had to pay for an irons evaluation. All of the evaluations are stored in my husband's account and he can go back anytime to order a club with a 90 day guarantee. I liked the set up of the location, the customer service, the flexibility of evaluations and the options available. Great options for local golfers who really want to improve their game.

I wasn't sure not sure if I wanted to go to the expense of a club fitting and definitely unsure about placing an order. But, after taking the first step and scheduling an appointment I found Rob to be an expert with patience :) not being an expert golfer there were many practice shots that went in different directions. However, in a short amount of time and different clubs prepared by Rob the variance between shots grew smaller. And .. with Rob's professionalism I was able to take the next step and order clubs fit to my swing. Yes, the club fitters can be different and that is why I am taking the time to highly recommend you take your time and schedule an appointment with Rob.

While I was not present, I am sharing my concern based on what my son and his group described. They reported feeling unwelcome from the moment they arrived, with staff interactions that came across as rude and condescending toward their inexperience. They also shared that the experience became increasingly uncomfortable throughout the round, to the point where they were unable to complete their 18 holes. What is especially concerning is that they were not the only guests who felt this way that day. Others reportedly expressed similar concerns regarding staff behavior and treatment of patrons. Regardless of skill level or experience, guests should feel respected and treated fairly. I hope this feedback is taken seriously and used to improve the experience for future visitors.

A Thank You to Trek Bike…read more I want to share how much I appreciate the care and integrity Trek bike has shown with my Parlee bike. From the moment I brought my bike in, it was clear these folks actually know what they're doing--and more importantly, they respect their customers enough to be straight with them. What stood out most is how transparent they were. No upsells, no unnecessary work pitched just to pad the bill. They took time to understand what my bike needed and gave me honest advice. That kind of straightforwardness is rare and it made a real difference in how much I trust them. But here's what really impressed me: they caught a factory recall on my Shimano crank power meter and offered to replace it without charging me a dime. Most shops would've either missed it or found a way to bill me for the service. Not Trek. They went out of their way to make sure I was taken care of, no cost to me. That's the kind of thing that tells you a lot about a business. Special thanks to Caleb--he was instrumental in taking care of my bike and making sure everything was handled right. Bryce was equally knowledgeable and friendly throughout the process too. The whole team is genuinely skilled and personable. It makes the whole experience easier--you're not second-guessing whether they understand what they're talking about. You just know they do. I'm grateful to have a shop I can trust with my bike, and people like Caleb and Bryce who actually care about doing the work right. A few rides weren't working at the time or they said it's been closed such as the gravity one, sawmill, and a boat one that was covered with a tarp. When we entered the park, we double checked with everyone if there are rides open for his height and we were told there were plenty. Especially for the bumper car because that's what he's really looking forward to first time at an amusement park. So we spent $100+ to get in. When we got bumper car place, there were people in there already playing. We were the only one waiting there, and i asked that staff lady if my son was tall enough to ride the car. She glanced at me and yelled, 'I'll check later'. Even when the ruler was hided next to her, even when there's no one else in the line, even when she's doing nothing just standing there looking at the adults driving bumper cars... she just had us waited and got my son hope so high. When their turn was done, she slowly pushed the car to the side, took out the ruler behind her stand and told us oh he's not tall enough. I held it in, and asked politely if my son can sit at the passenger seat and I'll drive since there were seat belts. She said no way. Only because my 4 years old was so excited to get in there, I tried again, asking ' There's no one here yet, you don't need to turn on the machine, can he just sit on it and feel the bumper car for one minute?' Again, she said 'no way'. We understand you may have a rule to follow, but you could have tell us the second we ask you if we our height meet your requirement instead of getting a kid's expectations so high, letting him watch others playing and having fun, then turn him down while you are not even doing anything except watching bunch white adults riding the bumper car. Castle park could have a ruler showing at front saying below 42" are not gonna have any rides, instead, they charge full price for kids over 36" while have nothing preparing for them. Our first amusement park experience leaving with tears and upset, my son was crying he said 'I waited. Why can't I play bumper car?' I told him, 'sorry baby, to make sure you are safe, you need to be tall enough to ride that.' And he cried, 'but I waited...'
