Stayed for a weekend in Levelland at The Best Western. It was very clean and maintained. Bed was…read moreadequately comfortable. Bathroom was spotless. Spacious room. The staff was very friendly and accommodating. ( thank you Jess!) Cons: Pillows- they don't even fit into the category of a bed pillow More like a pile of hay in a pillowcase. Take your own! Breakfast- while it was complimentary, it was on the cheap side. Great donut shop a block away and Mexican food restaurant kaddy corner has great breakfast!

Stayed here overnight during a visit to Lubbock. It's about 25 minutes away. Every hotel in…read moreLubbock was booked because of graduation. I was a little hesitant about our stay but was really blown away by the customer service. The gentleman at the front desk when we checked in was awesome. He called to make sure we were still coming as it was almost 7 and we had not checked in. He also called the room after check in to ask if the room was satisfactory. Five stars for the service. We were on the first floor. We could hear everything that was going on in the hall, including the calls the front desk received. We could also hear the people upstairs walking but it wasn't terrible. We were able to fall asleep without any issues. I did hear one call where someone was asking about something they left...they found the person's ring. That's always great when you leave things behind and the hotel actually gets it back to you.

Holiday Inn Express & Suites Plainview - old tv with a mount that doesn't work

This is definitely a two star experience. It's a very old building that they did remodel, maybe…read morefour or five years ago, but they have not kept up with it and it's age is already showing the beds are ancient. I can feel the springs as I sleep. the TVs are from 2010 and so thick they don't even work with the mounts because they're so heavy mine just leans over and faces the floor. Breakfast is fairly deplorable with nothing really appetizing, but this is standard kind of for these type of hotels. Customer service is ok as long as you don't interrupt them watching TV out in the foyer while they wait for you to come in, then rush to the desk or on their phones. The exterior looks terrible as well. This is definitely deserving of two stars and I won't be staying here again when I come back. forgot to mention my coworker that staying here his room started to leak the other day when there was a storm and they basically told him to come down and get towels and clean it up himself. Really? is this what we call customer service nowadays just a sad excuse for a Holiday Inn..

This weekend I booked a reservation for a double suite room at one of your hotels in Plainview…read moreTexas. I don't even know where to begin on how disappointed and dissatisfied I was with the experience. I typically book through Priceline, not sure if that's where everything went wrong or it was the hotel personnel. But right away everything was off, I will provide pictures of what was wrong but I will start off saying the room that was given to us was not a double suite room it was a king suit. Leaving my son sleeping on the floor during our stay. I attempted multiple times to have the room changed and the staff refused and only provided us with bedding to put on the floor for him. They said our room was a double suite. It was not. Second, the shampoo and conditioner bottles were out of their spot, the faucet to the tub was not securely placed and the door just looked unkept. I spent 580.00 for a 2 day/3 night stay for my child to end up sleeping on the floor during this stay. Needless to say, I was very disappointed with how the staff handled the situation and the upkeep of the room. As a frequent guest at a holiday inn this is by far the worst one I have ever stayed in.

Valley Motel - Your towel rack... with two tiny, threadbare, rough towels, and two similarly threadbare washcloths... Good luck getting dry with just one.

So, I understand that stopping in a small burg along the road isn't liable to get you the fanciest…read moreaccommodations, but YIKES. It's pretty clear the owners aren't bothering to take care of this place or even properly clean it between guests. Which is extra gross and disturbing with COVID-19. Where to even begin? The room smelled like cigarette smoke when we entered. I immediately noticed the rough carpet was dirty... especially near the edges along the wall. I found several dead flies on the carpet and in the window sill, which was coated with grime. The sheets... might have been clean. I pulled them open to find a stain of some kind... They were thin. The mattress was hard. It took me a long time to get to sleep and I felt very stiff in the morning. The towels were threadbare and rough and very small. Good luck getting dry with just one. They only supplied two of each (towel, hand towel, and washcloth) in a double queen room, so I guess you better be down to share. The bathroom was serviceable; I was able to get warm water for a shower, but the shower head was very low. I mean VERY LOW. I am 5'3" and I was looking it dead in the eye. Crazy. I've heard about tall people having this problem; never expected to encounter it myself, LOL. Also had to fix the chain in the toilet tank to prevent the dreaded "eternal flush." The sink... was not in the bathroom. It's in the main room, with the carpeting. Flow was terrible from it, obviously deposits had formed. Only two lightbulbs were screwed in... the other socket was just left empty. Frighteningly, a clothes rack/shelf was mounted above the table and two chairs, very poorly. I do not believe it would have supported weight over ten pounds and I wouldn't even try that much because it was practically dangling from the wall. You could see the screws unthreading from the side. Did I mention it also had some random nails sticking out? We did not try the TV or microwave, but the mini fridge worked okay. Most of the electrical sockets are too loose to use. I was able to find only one that would charge my phone overnight. :( Honestly, the only thing this place had going for it at all was the free Wi-Fi. That and being nearby a McDonald's so I could get breakfast (they did not provide any, but even if they did, I hella would not trust that).

For a regular 2 star hotel this place was emaculate. The bathroom was clean, sheets were fresh, and…read morethe bedspread choice was beautiful. Have stayed in small roadside motels a lot while traveling and this was the best I have stayed in for some time. The location is quiet and the family owners are very friendly. Sorry I didn't take pics, was tired when I rolled in.
