Loved this RV Park! Very clean sites. Shade trees on most…read moresites. They have pull-thru or back-in available. The rec room has books, movies, and games. Showers are updated and one of the best I've seen in a long time. Laundry is available ($1.75-wash 75¢-dry). The pool is clean and perfect for a swim after a long day. Most sites don't have grills, but there are a few that do. They have grills you can use that are behind the main office and next to the pool. Airport is across the highway, but you cannot hear airplanes or highway noise inside your camper. Several long term campers, but they are super nice and always offer a smile and wave from their clean and well-kept sites. Karen, in the office, is super sweet and welcomed us as if we'd been there a million times. I would highly recommend and have placed it on my list of RV parks to use should I come back through Lubbock.

The grassy areas at , and near our site (119) were covered in sticker burrs. We weren't aware, so when we arrived and took our dogs out, their paws were immediately covered in painful burrs, as were the bottoms of our shoes. For the rest of our one night stay, we carried the dogs to an area nearby without burrs. Management: it is so simple to treat for sticker burrs. Be aware that for overnight you will probably be in the area without any trees. Brutal heat without shade. No picnic table. Good: Large sites. Easy ingress/egress. Pleasant staff, easy check in.

I was greeted with a friendly voice and the reassurance a spot would be available. "Just give me your name, and I'll have a space reserved for you." No credit card number or phone number needed! The grounds are well cared for and clean. There are several full time residents, however unlike some properties, there was no junky "stuff" outside of the rigs like so many other places. Should my travels bring me through Lubbock again, I wouldn't hesitate to stay there again.

The bad side to their overnight parking are the incline pull through sites. Many will clear, but it wasn't in our favor. Our travel trailer rides low and our sewer lines nearly ripped apart. These inclines are easily cleared when entering at an angle, but there wasn't much clearance to do so on some sites. They agreed to move us to an adjacent site we were able to clear. We managed to clear site 81 easily, but 80 required a spotter. I just wish they would've kept us at 81 on both visits given they knew we we would return in a week. We requested this and they seem to not care at all. If you are in this situation with no alternative site to move in, I suggest backing in at the other end. You will get better clearance that way. It's quiet here so that's a plus. They keep things maintained. Most rigs have plenty of clearance. It just happens we don't fall into that category.

Only problem was I didn't have enough time to thoroughly enjoy the park. Manager was attentive and was more than accommodating when we decided we wanted to stay in the additional day, and of course, that day was a holiday so, even though the office was closed, she dressed initiative to put her money in the box. We will definitely stay here every time we bring our camper to Lubbock.

Just need to be better at checking things. I made 3 turns ,4 pull checks call led the mechanic. Felt something was wrong and was told to drive it over. Trailer hit tires. Both mine and his fault. I figured it didn't come undone on the pills or turns it was ok. Nope. Check handle. I did look under and was closed, but not good enough. My bad. They are a good company. Will keep you rolling.
