Plus, she did not have the cash funds to do the repairs, but she did have equity. After being highly recommended to me by numerous agents, I reached out to Tom to see if he could help my client. At the first meeting, it was apparent that Tom had the resources and skills to make it happen on an aggressive time line. Amazing is all I can say about the transformation of her home after Tom and his crew did their make over. Plus it was easy for me! No juggling different vendors, getting quotes, setting up time frames and waiting around for no shows. Tom was the project manager and made sure that everything was done on time and professionally. I highly recommend Tom and Maxhouseprice! They are on my list of preferred vendors from now on!

First time buyers beware and stay away. I would NOT recommend this company for first time buyers…read moreor veterans . Agents here seem to lack ethical practices and are only focused on themselves. My agent from this company seem to have a conflict of interest during my home buying experience. Talked up a big game but failed to deliver. Everything fell apart after the appraisal. I consulted with other agents and they seemed to agree with appraisal(this was after the fact). My agent from this company kept bashing the appraiser and telling me that he didn't know what he was doing. I believe the conflict of interest arose when my agent was planning on selling other condos in the same complex. I felt like my agent was on the sellers side trying to show me comps that weren't even comparable. Then when I asked for simple updates like a new dishwasher and for them to clean the vents my agent made it seem like I was crazy for even asking. I was also led to believe that I was going to have 2 parking spaces which I confirmed with my agent multiple times to only find out the day of closing there was only 1. The final walk through was a nightmare because my agent kept telling me that he had somewhere to be and wanted to speed things along. And the best deal he could get me was $5,000 over the appraisal. So now I have negative equity. I spoke to another agent and I found that I wouldn't be able to sell it for what I bought it for unless I update the appliances and a few other things. So if you want sloppy agents here is where you will find them. I waited about 30 days to give this review so I could be fair and impartial. My agent was knowledgeable but it wasn't for my best interest. Again if you are first time buyer I or veteran I recommend you look elsewhere.

Not all real estate transactions go as smoothly as one would expect. When the unexpected develops,…read moreit is critical that you have an agent that will work diligently to complete the transaction, with Tyler, that is what you get and more. Tyler's recommendations on prepping for sale were spot on, once accomplished, we listed and had a contract within two weeks. Two days prior to closing a problem developed between the buyer and their lender (they were pre-approved). Tyler spent hours working with the buyer's agent, lenders and ourselves to develop a solution. The revised contract for a pre-occupancy mitigated exposure and risk as another lender was obtained. Tyler's local knowledge, dedication to his clients and integrity are beyond reproach. We felt as if we got the attention of someone with a multi million dollar estate when in fact we were selling a mid 300s home. Would highly recommend Tyler if you are in need of a real estate professional in the Warrenton area.

Chris possesses all of the qualities one would expect from an exceptional real estate professional: deep market knowledge, sound judgment, responsiveness, attention to detail, and a strong track record of successful transactions. His recent sales record speaks for itself. What distinguished Chris, however, was the level of care and personal attention he brought to our sale. Because we had already moved out of state, we needed a realtor we could trust not only to manage the transaction, but also to look after the property in our absence. Chris went well above and beyond in that regard. He regularly checked on the home following showings, the appraisal, and inspections, kept us informed throughout the process, and even attended to small but important details such as ensuring that the lights and water were turned off while the property was under contract. Chris treated our home and the transaction with the same level of care and diligence that we would have exercised ourselves had we remained local. That gave us considerable peace of mind throughout the process. We would recommend Chris without hesitation to anyone looking for a knowledgeable, diligent, and highly dependable real estate professional.

Being unfamiliar with the area, I reached out to Chris and couldn't have found a better agent. He carefully listened to my situation, understood my requirements and needs for a place for my mom. He was very enthusiastic and invested a lot of time for me to get familiar with different town of N Virginia. As I had very specific needs, this process took over several months. Chris has been patient every step of the way and offered much needed valuable insights and practices in the local real estate market that wasn't familiar to me. (The buying process, and the culture of real estate deals are very different in NYC). As an example of the level of service he provides, during those times when we found a place of interest, he took it up on himself to check out the area at night to see if the neighbors and the streets were quiet enough for my mom. There were several instances when he canceled personal plans because he thought it was important for me to look at a place (even before it went on the market), so I can get a head start on the bid (if needed). As a trusted partner in my search, I relied heavily on him to provide me with guidance, suggestions and courses of actions during my search.
