The Breakfast Bin is offering pancakes, waffles, coffee & juices, and breakfast bowls. Their rice bowl consisted of egg (the way you wanted it) and an option to upgrade your meal with a brewed coffee or talangka rice. Here's what we had: Liempo Strips (P160) Talangka Rice (upgrade, addt'l P55) Breakfast Bin Tapa Bowl Extra Brown Rice (P55) Cappuccino (P80) Extra Bacon Strips (P55- 3 pcs) Let's start with my coffee. It was the foamiest cappuccino I've had in ages! If you're the type who wants your coffee with heaps of creamer (or milk) on it, then this is the right choice for you. I'd tell you a secret. Finish your coffee all the way down and you'll realize that they have added a cocoa on your usual cappuccino cup! No wonder my coffee was tastier than ever. Liempo strips were served with 2 condiments placed in a shot glass - maple syrup & BB's homemade vinegar. The former brought out the flavors of the strips. Hail to it being the recommended dish by Spot.Ph! The tapa bowl with brown rice was amazing as well. My partner is very selective with the dishes but she commended the tapa. It was juicy, tender and has it's own flavor. We were billed around P500 for 2, exclusive of service charge. Is there any way you would expand the place to cater group diners?

But the food is still the food. So on to that: - Beef Tapa: My favourite dish of the meal. Beef was tender, thinly sliced, with that perfect tangy-sweet flavour balance. - Sardine and Sundried Tomato Pasta: Strong flavours that perfectly matched. Generous amount of sardines and studied tomatoes went well with the al dente pasta. A wonderfully done pasta by a place I associate with breakfast food. - Crispy Plain Waffles: Pretty tasty on its own (which is a good sign), though a bit too crispy and chewy for me. - Pancakes: Soft and pillowy. Definitely preferred these to the waffles. - Spinach, Mushroom and Cheese Omelette: The omelette was melt-in-your-mouth fluffy. Unfortunately it was also a bit bland. Good amount of cheese but would have liked more mushrooms and spinach. - Hazelnut Coffee: Strong hazelnut taste. Appreciated that it wasn't watered down. Service was attentive and efficient. Prices are fairly reasonable. And again, that beautiful space to laze the mornings away. A delightful spot overall.

I also tried their buko-lychee sherbet, and it was perfect: not too sweet & refreshingly light! I've tried their other breakfast items as well, such as the adobo flakes, corned beef (tastes like Purefoods), and French toast, which is really yummy! Most of their breakfast meals allow dinners to choose between garlic or plain rice, rice or toast (kind of dry and hard, though), and scrambled or sunny-side up eggs. On my latest visit, I learned that they now also offer lunch and dinner meals. They also have a variety of drinks, and I do not recommend the strawberry-calamansi because it tastes like medicine with no hint of calamansi at all.

Sinubukan namin ang US tapa at home-made embutido rice meals pati na rin Waffles with syrup and blueberry.

Got there right around 7:30, snagged a nice window table with morning light pouring in, and dove straight into the spread. They had this killer lineup--garlic rice, longganisa that was juicy and not too sweet, perfectly fluffy scrambled eggs, crispy danggit, and some really good tapa that was tender and full of flavor. The free-flowing coffee kept coming without me even asking, which was clutch. Everything tasted fresh, nothing felt like it was sitting out too long, and the vibe inside is so chill and homey, like you're eating at a friend's place but better. Left feeling full, happy, and already plotting my next visit to try their all-day menu--heard the bibimbap and pancakes are next-level. Solid five stars, hands down.

They have a breakfast buffet every Friday to Sunday which starts at 7 am and ends at 10 am. They don't have a lavish spread of items on the buffet to choose from, but they do have just the right amount of variety to keep your meal from becoming a dull repetition of viands. From my experience, they had breakfast items such as tocino, scrambled eggs, tapa, and fish fillet. They change the choices once in a while, and they have free-flowing coffee as part of the package!! So be early! If you miss the buffet, don't worry! They have lots of a la carte meals that will satisfy you as much as their buffet will.

Every dish that Mandi's Grill Grub offers is grilled to perfection, be it pork, beef, chicken, and…read moreeven fish. For our appetizer, we tried the Sisig Surprise - a pleasant surprise! Each small serving is visually appealing already because of the very creamy mashed potatoes that envelope a wonderful surprise: LEAN and grilled sisig! Lean, as in it has no fat, so that's less guilt! The milky smoothness of the mashed potatoes complements the meaty goodness of the sisig. This appetizer is so good, it could very well be a main dish! If you want more meat, then go for their version of the American rib, which is a meaty slab that is at least half a foot long! It's almost like liempo, but much softer, making it a lot easier to slice and enjoy! No need for a knife! Each serving also comes with MGG's fried rice, coleslaw, and mashed potatoes. MGG is also not afraid to experiment, so they came up with a grilled version of the Filipino classic, pork adobo! I thought the pork slices were going to be dry, but no!!! The vinegar-soy sauce marinade very much permeated the meat, making it a highly flavorful dish! There is a separate container for the adobo sauce, but there's a good chance you won't need it for the meat anymore (mix it in your rice instead!). Moreover, the adobo meat is topped with freshly ground garlic (peelings and all) and chives, while the plain rice is topped with a sunny side up egg. Sarap! Another Filipino classic that MGG offers is tapsilog, with of course, grilled beef tapa. Like the adobo, the flavor of the beef is not compromised as it already has a vinegar-y taste that's perfect for tapa! Each beef piece strictly follows a precise measurement, allowing diners to easily eat the thinly sliced meat. This dish comes with scrambled egg, MGG's salsa, and fried rice. We also tried two blue marlin dishes: the pinaputok na blue marlin belly and grilled blue marlin. The former is wrapped in aluminum foil and upon popping it, you'll be greeted by a very delicious smell! It has a very generous amount of MGG's secret sauce, which can be a substitute for soup. I enjoyed eating the pinaputok even without rice, but for me, the real star is the grilled blue marlin. It's simply good. Nothing fancy about it, just a buttery glaze, crushed garlic, and chives. It's thick, huge, and good for sharing, but I know that I could eat an order all by myself haha! It's so delectable that I forgot to take a picture of it (even the pinaputok)! My stomach is growling as I type this - I want to go back to Mandi's ASAP! Oh, and it comes with chili-garlic sauce and calamansi for a spicier and tangier gastronomic experience! But my ultimate favorite at Mandi's is their CRISPY BABY BACK RIBS. They were a surprise to me because I never expected ribs to be coated in anything; di ba usually as is lang sila when cooked? Galing! The ribs are topped with bell peppers, nuts, and very rich, cheesy, and creamy Bechamel sauce (made from scratch!). Ugh, ang sarap - napakamay ako to make simot the ribs! :D On weekends, they have special dishes like ulang (huge frehswater shrimp), shrimp inasal, porkchops, etc. They have also been experimenting on some desserts and other savory treats, so diners can try something new from time to time! Mandi's Grill Grub is located at the ground floor of #73 Bent II (same building as Nail Cottage, Cupcake Bites, and Breakfast Brothers), Lilac St. SSS Village, Concepcion Dos, Marikina. It's a cozy place with American accent pieces like superhero tin signs, old school Kellogs tin cans, and vintage soda signage.

You need to must try their ribs! Their ribs have bechamel sauce that level up the usual meat.read more

The server told us that it's their best seller and without any doubt, this was realllllllllllllly gooooooooood! It is served with strips of beef, heart shaped garlic rice, choice of how you like your egg and some vinegar to dip your beef in or if you're like me, just to pour it all over my rice, eggs and meat. I also got their bottomless iced tea. And even thought you ordered an iced tea, coz your drink is bottomless, you can try other drinks they have just coz you're on bottomless. Pretty good!
