Eclectic. A beautiful mix of small cafe shop and Filipino classics. We can here for breakfast. My wife and I ordered a latte with ensaymada and the kids ordered French toast and bangus. The food was all tasty, the hot chocolate classic was a bit rich. The prices were a bit rich for what you get. Would definitely recommend the latte for the coffee art.

I stopped by Mary Grace Cafe to pick up some goodies from our team's training session - enseymada, cheese rolls and mamon. They were as fluffy and delicious as everyone says! The quality and taste of their baked goods truly live up to the hype. The BGC location in the C2 Building is a charming spot for a meal specially the outdoor space which overlooks the small garden. Service was friendly and prompt.

The food was absolutely delicious! It's a small, cozy restaurant. We were a party of four, and everyone ordered something different...every dish was a hit. Service was fast and incredibly friendly, even with a couple of picky eaters in our group. We'll definitely be coming back!

The desserts are actually really good. The pasta was alright. Wasn't bad but just felt like it was authentic yet lacked? Unsure. The beef tapa was great Service was both good and bad. One dude was super attentive (like super) the girl who served me got my order wrong and gave me salt that couldn't pour out. When opened it was super dirty. (Not actual location I ate at as the csg location isn't here)

This is a fancy brunch spot. A really convenient location from our hotel literally across the street and a minutes walk. Pretty much in the heart of BGC and across from Market Market. I had a simple peach tea and classic ensyamada. It is very good quality and the food was delicious. My uncle ordered a rice plate which I did not get the pleasure of trying yet, I will have to next time. I love the classic, very homey and cutesy comfy ambiance of the restaurant. Totally a girlfriends , Sunday brunch spot. I also hear they are famous for the hot chocolate I will definitely try the next time. But for now, you MUST not miss out on their ensyamada bread.

I've long been a fan of Mary Grace and this location. I was excited to take my husband here for breakfast, which is exactly what we did. I love their version of ensaymada and I was eager for Ryan to try some. Walking into May Grace is like walking into someone's living room. It's very relaxed with a homey feel. We were greeted and seated immediately. The menu has a variety of Filipino menu items. I decided on the classic ensaymada while the husband got the pork tocino with fried egg and garlic rice. We also ordered iced coffees to beat the Manila heat. We tried both dishes and they are as good as I remember. The ensaymada is sweet, fluffy, and delicious. The pork tocino, garlic, rice, and fried egg was also delicious. Our meal was a mix of sweet and savory and I loved it!

This place is sooooo good! My cousin Hazel brought us here for a fantastic brunch. I had a typical Filipino breakfast that consisted of bangus, eggs, and garlic fried rice. Super delish! I also ordered a side of grilled ensaymada and hot chocolate. Well, it was amazing! Service was also excellent. The servers were very polite and attentive, and the prices were reasonable too! If I do end up buying my vacation condo in this area, I'd probably eat here more often.

My family is a fan of this place! I'm just glad they don't have a location in the United States. Hands down they have one of the best endaymadas that I've had! They also make interesting variations such as the banana chocolate ensaymada, which my sister loved! I like to keep it plain and simple. I had the peach iced tea which was too sweet for me, but I realized that Filipinos love sweet tea! My favorite dessert here is the mango benne! It's a mixture of sansrival with mango! It's to die for! You have to try it!

Why would you serve a table of 6 their orders sporadically? Our orders came one at a time, literally! One of my friends was done with her ensaymada but the tea was served 10 minutes later. A few had their drinks but the desserts came 10 minutes later. There was no consistency and logic. Some were done eating but others were still waiting for their food. The 2 lemon squares that I ordered were tiny - you could have a serving of 4 and charge P100 for it, rather than by piece. Hmmm do you even get me? Are you over rated?

Look at that lemon square crust :9

But Purple Oven's decadent revel bars changed that opinion pretty quickly! When I moved to the area, I was happy to find out that it's just one tricycle ride away from my condo (and I've abused that ever since). It's always been my go-to bakery for special occasions. Of course, the revel bars are always a party hit, as well as their cakes. But I think their cookies are one of the best I've tasted! (And i've tried alot, mind you.) The chocolate macademia cookies don't scrimp on either, and is absolutely mouthwatering, especially when they're just fresh out of the oven! (You can cheat this by putting it in the oven really quickly, at the lowest setting so you won't burn anything.) Purple Oven doesn't just do desserts either! They've got a pretty good selection of bread and quiches! Perfect for a lazy brunch at home. Just pop em in the oven the next day, and they go so perfectly with some coffee or tea.

I love everything about that place, I could really spend hours just smelling their food and staring at their desserts. And it doesn't help that they actual load a new batch of goodies in the oven every hour (with a schedule posted on the chalkboard of what's cooking by what time), I think I sat there for half a day and didn't even notice I've been there that long. Whether you're in for a savory treat or a sweet-tooth satisfier, they have so much to choose from. My top picks are still Grandma's Chocolate Cake which has layers of caramel between moist, rich chocolate cake topped with chocolate ribbons and the Banoffee Pie which has a pie crust filled with banana, cream and butterscotch. If you want just a quick bite, then try their cookie selection. I love the chocolate macadamia, very chocolatey and chunky and not too sweet.

We asked for refund, however, you mentioned that you can refund the amount paid for flower decorations. We even asked to even add at least delivery charge to the refund.... But still, only P800 for your mistake??? We feel that it is very unfair that we spent a lot on it, ordered it 5 days in advance, called everyday for update if you got the design, did our best to make communication work out on our end, and in the end a disaster. How could you let this happen? How could you give an empty birthday cake when we paid extra for each flower and mentioned the dedication? It's not convenient, but it's super worth the travel! My family's usual order is the 9x12-inch caramel cake that's worth P1000 (with free personal message on cake and 1 candle). Not a bad deal when we know how much dedication and quality this homemade goodness is done (and taste) over the years. Highly recommend this to those who want a light cake for family and friends.
