If you have been to Denny's or ihop, than eating at pancake house is a step down in quality and serving size. The upside though is the price is affordable. The only thing I enjoy here is the classic pan chicken and the waffles. But it's nothing wow. Taste like mix you buy at a grocery store but still decent. This is an affordable place to get a quick affordable meal.

We went here for breakfast 2 days in a row. Everything we tried has been on point. The food we get is exactly like the photos in the menu. Pancakes are fluffy and delicious. Coffee is strong but not bitter, just the way I like it. Try the garlic rice.

I've always liked Pancake House's pan-friend chicken; even without gravy, it tastes great! The spaghetti was okay, while their milkshakes make you forget the heat and remember a lot of good old childhood memories. Another classic treat would be their soft tacos, which are currently sold at P143 for 2 pieces - such a steal! But if you want something more filling, go for their grilled pork belly meals good for 2 for only P398. I recommend that you pair the pork belly with mashed potatoes instead of rice! :) For their new dishes, we tried ones that are Cebu-inspired: danggit meal, chorizo rice meal & waffle, and dried mango caramel walnut waffle. Among them, my favorite would be the spicy maple danggit because of its nice sweet-salty taste, though the sweetness could still be decreased. The danggit goes well with the spiced vinegar. The chorizo waffle is also good as the flavor is so spot on even without chewing. The dried mango waffle needs something to somehow mash the flavors together.

I grew up with Pancake House since the restaurant has been there for over 40 years. It has an ambiance of movie posters that is very nostalgic. Pancake House offers comfort food to the average Filipino with their classic spaghetti, pan chicken, tacos, almondigas soup, and of course, pancakes and waffles. Lately, Pancake House has not been working for me, either giving a poor service, or inconsistent with food taste. I find their food to be saltier on each visit. That is why I was lucky to be invited by The Food Crawlers on their BGC crawl. Pancake House has renovated with a much bright and modern feel. The classics are still there, but they now added new offerings to their menu. The new offerings include Cajun Pork Belly, Danggit, Cebu Chorizo, Chorizo Waffle, Bacon Waffle, and Mango and Walnut Waffle. The Pork Belly is tender and very flavorful, I won't get tired of eating it. I also love the danggit because it reminded me the first time I went to Cebu. The saltiness and crispiness of the fish was perfect for the garlic rice it came with. The chorizo was sweet and a little spicy, which is great for breakfast. This is by far the best branch I've been to and a rating above 3.0. I am glad they are improving and offering more choices. I recommend to try their new offerings as well as reminisce the classic options.

Good service. The bathroom smells horrible though as if something didn't dry properly and the soap was watery. Please fix this issue.

Walked in around 7:30 before the mall got crazy, and the place was chill with that cozy café smell hitting you right away--fresh coffee and baked goods. Ordered the longsilog and wow, the longganisa patty was juicy and garlicky without being too greasy, paired with perfectly sunny-side-up eggs and garlic rice that was spot-on crispy. The atchara on the side cut through everything so nicely. Grabbed their signature ube pandesal French toast on the side because why not, and it was ridiculous--soft, custardy inside with that sweet ube glaze that wasn't overpowering. Coffee was strong and hot, just how I like it. Server was super attentive without hovering, refilled my water before I even asked. For the price, it felt like a steal compared to other spots in the area. Everything tasted fresh and made with care. 100% coming back tomorrow before my flight. If you're anywhere near Newport, don't sleep on this place.

Got there right around 7:30, snagged a nice window table with morning light pouring in, and dove straight into the spread. They had this killer lineup--garlic rice, longganisa that was juicy and not too sweet, perfectly fluffy scrambled eggs, crispy danggit, and some really good tapa that was tender and full of flavor. The free-flowing coffee kept coming without me even asking, which was clutch. Everything tasted fresh, nothing felt like it was sitting out too long, and the vibe inside is so chill and homey, like you're eating at a friend's place but better. Left feeling full, happy, and already plotting my next visit to try their all-day menu--heard the bibimbap and pancakes are next-level. Solid five stars, hands down.

What better way to start your day than with a breakfast buffet?…read more The Breakfast Club's cozy interior provides the perfect setting for putting things on hold in favor of a warm early morning meal. They have a breakfast buffet every Friday to Sunday which starts at 7 am and ends at 10 am. They don't have a lavish spread of items on the buffet to choose from, but they do have just the right amount of variety to keep your meal from becoming a dull repetition of viands. From my experience, they had breakfast items such as tocino, scrambled eggs, tapa, and fish fillet. They change the choices once in a while, and they have free-flowing coffee as part of the package!! So be early! If you miss the buffet, don't worry! They have lots of a la carte meals that will satisfy you as much as their buffet will.

My heart wanted to go with the ube pancakes, but my mind ordered the lox and rosti. The portion size was decent! It reminded me of the portion sizes in the United States. It was quite filling! It was delicious. It came with 4 pieces of lox, a pan fried potato cake, salad greens, pickles, pickled onions, and a poached egg. I also ordered the matcha Freddo, which was a coffee with matcha on top. It was interesting! I haven't had anything like that before. Most other places it tasted more like a matcha latte, but this one you could taste the distinct coffee and matcha flavors. It's iced so it's perfect for the heat! They are in their soft opening phase. The service was really attentive (then again most places here in the Philippines have good customer service). The ambiance is clean and modern. It's a nice space to come dine or have coffee. They have a pastry case when you walk in! Some may assume that they only do coffee and pastries. Though, they have a full on menu! It's more than what appears to the eye. They also have 2 hours of free WiFi which can be accessed via a voucher. They also have AC! Overall, I had a great experience here. I would come back and try some other things on the menu. I do wish they had more healthier options, but I know not everyone has the same taste as me. For my meal, coffee and mineral water I think I spent around $12 USD.
