The crepes were super yummy and the cold brew with coconut syrup is a must get at the beach. I ordered online ahead of time anticipating they would be busy. I got a text that my order was done 8 minutes ahead of schedule, which is totally fine. However, once I got there about 5 minutes later they told me it wasn't ready. Well, after waiting another couple of minutes it turns out my order was made and went somewhere or to someone else. They remade my order quickly after that, however there was no apology or anything. The only reason why I know what happened is because you can stand by the counter and watch and listen to them work. Don't get me wrong, if I'm craving a crepe in OCMD I'm headed to Crepe Daddy, but be prepared for a chaotic ordering experience if you go during breakfast. read more

We went twice for lunch. I got the Creppy Rachel (turkey Reuben with sauerkraut, cheese, Thousand Island dressing) and my husband got the Chicken BLT both times. First time, my Creppy Rachel was just perfect - soft, full crepe with the warm turkey, sauerkraut, melted cheese with the Thousand Island drizzled on). Second time, my crepe was tough, crispy and hard to cut with the plastic silverware yet my cheese wasn't melted and sauerkraut a bit cool. My husband said he had the opposite experience with his Chicken BLT. So, I deducted a star from my review. The food was good but it can be hit or miss with getting a crispy, tough crepe. Mediocre crepe. The crepe itself is like flour mixed with water no texture at all. I ordered berry cheesecake and the cream cheese just overwhelmed the whole crepe and the berries are like rotten. My party of 3 came in last Saturday morning for breakfast. We knew restaurants were inundated due to the music festival that was happening that weekend. Tucked in-between some larger restaurants, crepe daddy is a narrow cafe situated right on the boardwalk. They had a couple tables inside, and picnic tables outside, the interior was clean. Despite the crowd, it was easy and fast to place an order at the counter. I got the "turkey scrambs" crepe to go, it was delicious. You get to see them make your food which was fun. The crepe was light, the cheese melty, and the proteins were cooked fabulously. All of our orders came out fast and the serving size was the perfect amount for us! Wow, what an improvement! We've went when this place was in its early days, and they expanded so much on our latest visit! I had the classic powdered waffles, and they were so good! We went close to the end of the season on the third weekend in October at around 9:30am. The food was delicious, and exactly as described. I got the mushroom, ricotta and pesto crepe and an iced caramel coffee no sugar added. My partner got the ham and egg crepe and a hot coffee. The portion size was filling. The food came out quick the and service was good. The ambiance was really nice; the restaurant was right off the boardwalk. Since it was the weekend of Sunfest and American Cancer Society was doing a Breast Cancer walk, I was surprised by how few people were actually eating/going in to the restaurant. How much Nutella can you fit in a crepe? At Crepe Daddy they manage to put in a crepe ton (the unit of measurement) of it. We got a good variety of savory and sweet crêpes I personally loved the OG with Nutella and strawberries and bananas, and the PB&J with your choice of jelly (I chose strawberry because it is the best jelly).
