Just wanted to share how much I loved this place, the crepes, the staff, and the outside seating :) thanks!

One of the healthier, delicious food options on the boardwalk for breakfast and lunch - from breakfast and lunch crepes to dessert crepes. Outside, shaded seating on the boardwalk. We went twice for lunch. I got the Creppy Rachel (turkey Reuben with sauerkraut, cheese, Thousand Island dressing) and my husband got the Chicken BLT both times. First time, my Creppy Rachel was just perfect - soft, full crepe with the warm turkey, sauerkraut, melted cheese with the Thousand Island drizzled on). Second time, my crepe was tough, crispy and hard to cut with the plastic silverware yet my cheese wasn't melted and sauerkraut a bit cool. My husband said he had the opposite experience with his Chicken BLT. So, I deducted a star from my review. The food was good but it can be hit or miss with getting a crispy, tough crepe. The staff at the counter taking our order were nice both times, and they bring out the crepe to you. read more

First time! One block on the boardwalk from our hotel. 11th street on boardwalk. Very busy place but with good reason! I had the Banana Puddin' crepe. Absolutely decadent and delicious. What a great spot! Right off the boardwalk for easy accessibility. And the food was YUM! I got one savory and one sweet because I couldn't decide and I definitely made the right choice! My party of 3 came in last Saturday morning for breakfast. We knew restaurants were inundated due to the music festival that was happening that weekend. Tucked in-between some larger restaurants, crepe daddy is a narrow cafe situated right on the boardwalk. They had a couple tables inside, and picnic tables outside, the interior was clean. Despite the crowd, it was easy and fast to place an order at the counter. I got the "turkey scrambs" crepe to go, it was delicious. You get to see them make your food which was fun. The crepe was light, the cheese melty, and the proteins were cooked fabulously. All of our orders came out fast and the serving size was the perfect amount for us! Next, the staff and service is superb- friendly, laughing, easy going, just plain phenomenal. And finally, this is a small place but filled with goodness. From drinks to the crepes. I had a chai tea with oat milk- delicious. We tried the GF crepe stuffed with bananas and drizzled with honey-m, and GF Nutella with strawberries -- yummy! Wow, what an improvement! We've went when this place was in its early days, and they expanded so much on our latest visit! I had the classic powdered waffles, and they were so good! My sister had a smores crepe, while my mom had a blueberry cheesecake crepe. My dad had a turkey club crepe. They are stunned? They also had our food served really fast. We went close to the end of the season on the third weekend in October at around 9:30am. The food was delicious, and exactly as described. I got the mushroom, ricotta and pesto crepe and an iced caramel coffee no sugar added. My partner got the ham and egg crepe and a hot coffee. The portion size was filling. The food came out quick the and service was good. The ambiance was really nice; the restaurant was right off the boardwalk. Since it was the weekend of Sunfest and American Cancer Society was doing a Breast Cancer walk, I was surprised by how few people were actually eating/going in to the restaurant. Went back to Crepe Daddy again this year and it did not disappoint! I enjoyed the bacon scrambs and really like the flavor- I think the cheese they use puts it over the edge in a great way. How much Nutella can you fit in a crepe? At Crepe Daddy they manage to put in a crepe ton (the unit of measurement) of it. Crepes may be made out of egg (they are) but you wouldn't know it by taste and the fruit makes it sweet enough to enjoy not like a healthy sugar infusion. Coffee was good also. And lots Of choices. We got a good variety of savory and sweet crêpes I personally loved the OG with Nutella and strawberries and bananas, and the PB&J with your choice of jelly (I chose strawberry because it is the best jelly). For savory we tried the buffalo chicken crêpe and it was perfect. Just the right amount of buffalo and very good flavors throughout.
