I needed to print about 200 color pages and put into a spiral binder. After getting a quote I…read morehanded my flash drive over and they said it would be about 1-2 days to complete my two copies. This was on a Tuesday. Friday mid day still no call to say it was complete so I went down there to see if it was finished. It was not. I was informed they had not even started on it. I needed these spiral booklets before next week so I went across the street to Lone Star Reprographics. They started working on it right away and had my booklets in about 1.5 hours. I understand things happens and people get busy. I really would have appreciated a call or heads up from Norton Lewis.

I appreciated that my order was filled within an hour, and I could pick up my items on my way home from work. Overall, it seemed like any other Office Depot/Max. It's a smaller store than I am used to, so I'm not sure if they can keep the same amount of inventory as other locations. The store was clean, well-lit, and I was able to get in and out quickly. The downside for me is that the binder I ordered was damaged in the corners. I noticed this while I was still at the store, so I went to check out if I could replace it with another one. Unfortunately, the entire shelf of this particular binder were all damaged in the same place. I'm not sure if this was a design flaw in the product or if it was a packaging issue. Either way, I grabbed the one with the least noticeable damage and was able to effortlessly exchange it for the one I had been originally given. I would return here in the future.

I thought, why not give a local business a chance? Never again will I come here. The woman was condescending and very unprofessional. She did not understand what "scale to fit media" meant. I asked her nicely if she could print the transparency using a color printer as this was for screen printing and needs to be dark. She snapped at me telling me it wasn't a color image so there was no need to. The image came out so light that I could see right though it. I again tried to explain to her that it needed to be darker and if she could help me but she became irate and started yelling! She really let me have it even though I was asking her what I felt was a standard and valid request. This woman screamed that she had been doing this for thirty years and I didn't know what I was talking about. She yelled at me and threw my flash drive at me while I paid for something I really should not have! I left feeling threatened. Next time I will just give a big corporation like Fed Ex Kinkos my money and wait for the size transparency I need to arrive.
