San Antonio Copy Concierge is the best in the business!…read more If you are like me and constantly need to print marketing material for your company, you know how important it is to have a printing company that is reliable and professional. I've been a regular customer at SA Copy Concierge for the last three years and I have NEVER had a bad experience. I think only one time there was a small error with one of my printing jobs and the owner fixed it on the spot and didn't charge me any extra for it. Another plus about working with them is that they offer free delivery. I am sure it only covers X amount of miles, but it still worth asking if you don't have the bandwidth to stop by and pick up your order. Last but not least, they are very fast at getting the job done. I used to print items at FedEx and they would charge me insane amounts for same day or even next day printing, and I've never had that issues with SA Copy Concierge. Ordering is easy, turn around time is fabulous, packaging is wonderful. However, their color…read morematching has gotten much worse since I started working with them. When a customer holds the print up to the original painting, it's ridiculously noticeable. The print is either lighter or darker than the original. Color matching is extremely important for artists. I've had to send pictures that I creased or tore up the prints in order to get a "credit." Used the credit to try again. The color matching was still horrible. This time I specified that I wanted a refund as opposed to a credit since I will not be using them anymore. Now they expect me to pay shipping and make a special trip to the post office? For their inadequate work? For them to just destroy the prints I'm sending back anyway? What's the point? Now I'm embarrassed that I had recommended them to so many other artists. Time to find a new printing company that actually cares about the customer and the quality of their work. Definitely would NOT recommend using them for professional reproductions.

However, their website is terrible and their customer service is awful. I paid a lot for 3 huge canvases with the extra color correction. Two are perfect. The third- I like to do my own borders. It's very easy to last second knock it off center in illustrator. Since there's no way to zoom into their tiny mockup of your work without complete pixelation it's hard to see how your work is going to look. You'd think the person doing the color correction would have noticed it's not centered. Nope! There's no human to talk to- you are at the mercy of Angela who takes forever and a day to return an email. I was willing to take responsibility and needed to reprint. I had my canvases created two days before a 20% canvas sale, so I asked if I reprinted and did another huge one could I have the discount. That's fair, right? Angela couldn't even read the email correctly! Two days later (I'm on a time crunch) I get the answer "no refunds". I didn't ask for one! Still waiting on return email. For these prices there needs to be a human on a phone who can deal with artists' issues and a much better website. Moving on to another printer who has a human I can call and a much more professional website.
