Decent apartment complex in the Washington Virginia Vale neighbourhood. Rent is reasonable, and the location is great. It is close to Target, whole Foods, King Soopers, Home Depot, Natural Grocer and much more. There is a dog park, a basketball court, and a gym. There are 4 community laundry rooms. Very reliable maintenance crew. Over the years they have been steadfast in addressing the numerous problems that have arisen. Apartment buildings may look old on the outside, with instances of peeling paint. Littering by residents is a problem in certain areas. read more

Having lived there for almost 20 years and numerous renewing of leases , we moved because it's not what it used to be. The Last two "Community Managers " were so incompetent that they couldn't even keep the maintenance staff. I have done Hotels, Restaurants,Apartment Complexes and never have I ever seen a property go so far south that the paid parking isn't even worth it if they (Towing Company ) Can't read the numbers on the pavement space. DO NOT CHOOSE THIS COMPLEX! I am a previous tenant in a legal dispute with them over significant false damage and cleaning charges and inflated move out fees (thousands and thousands of dollars they are illegally trying to collect, failure to send an itemized list, tacking on tons of fees and additional rent charges that I already have proof of paying). Maintenance is horrible and will do random inspections accusing you of smoking or burning candles. Yet they won't do anything about all the people smoking cigarettes in the parking lot or vaping in the pool area. They turn off the water several times a month for repairs (your options are boiling hot or freezing cold water). dirty laundry facilities, backed up sinks, homeless in the parking lot, LOUD neighbors they refuse to do anything about. Smells like dog piss and there's poop everywhere. You can smell your neighbors shit in the bathroom. Bugs love this place - broken sprinklers they left flooding the area for months attracting mosquitos, ants, spiders, flies, mice, every possible pest is around this area and will get into your home (I've lived by a creek before and never had this bad of an issue). I got several flat tires while living here, found screws in the parking lot countless times. they will try to enforce HOA level regulations that aren't in the lease - you can't have plants or lights or anything on your balcony (threatened $350 fines if you didn't remove immediately), no curtains inside your home, no candles, no cooking anything on your outdoor space, no bird feeders. the pool was always closed due to contamination and the gym and mail room was closed for months and months for renovation. still charges for all these amenities. All the employees love to parade around in their vehicles that have far-right and Trump supporter stickers all over their vehicles. Frequent employee and maintenance turnover speaks volumes. This complex looked fine when I moved in but this place handles nothing and cares more about you having a bird feeder on your porch instead of the people breaking into the mail room and sleeping in the parking lot. I've lived at Creekside Apartments for over five years (three in my current one-bedroom) and have always paid rent on time, never received a late fee, and have been a respectful neighbor. Unfortunately, my recent experience with AIR Communities has been very disappointing. I pay $1,478/month for a non-renovated unit, while renovated one-bedrooms here are listed around $1,200-$1,400 - many with updated kitchens, bathrooms, flooring, and in-unit washer/dryers. My apartment isn't just outdated; it looks like renovation work was started and then abandoned before I moved in. Only one cabinet was replaced, leaving the kitchen mismatched and incomplete. When I asked about a rent review, reduction, or early lease termination, no negotiation or compromise was offered. The only option was a transfer with over $2,000 in fees, which is financially unrealistic. The leasing office staff and maintenance team are usually great, but AIR Communities as a company has shown no willingness to acknowledge how unreasonable it is to charge premium rent for an unfinished unit. After years of on-time payments and respect as a tenant, it's disappointing to feel taken advantage of. Sharing this so others can make an informed decision before signing a lease. EDIT: My response to the reply below: 1. I cannot find anything at all about fees for transferring to another unit in my lease packet. I asked for this in writing from the regional manager as well and she did not provide it. Please show this via screenshot/pdf/etc if you have it in an official document. 2. Yes, I agreed to the lease. When I moved in to this unit over 3 years ago, most units were not renovated. My rent was comparable to the units currently available (in the ~$1200s or so.) The next year, your company increased my rent by over $200. I attempted to negotiate and was shut down. Now including the rent increase from this past renewal, I'm paying over $200 more a month for fully renovated units around me. Can you acknowledge that this is unfair and borderline predatory? 3. The issue with my unit was not "maintenance repairs." As I say in my review, my kitchen very clearly had begun to be renovated, and then for some reason the maintenance team stopped after replacing 1 singular cabinet. I dealt with this despite the mismatched unfinished look, but now 3 years later I am paying significantly more for a mismatched unfinished unit, while fully renovated units around me are $200 (or more) less. I'd like AIR Communities to acknowledge the actual issue here, and maybe in the future consider showing some kindness and care to your long term residents, especially in the current economy and with financial troubles getting worse for people all over the country. read more

the "renovated" apartment had new cabinets & kitchen countertops, but everything else (appliances, windows, doors, closet shelves) are old & falling apart. there's a thick coat of paint over everything, but it doesn't hide the fact that it's outdated. there's a constant cold draft in the colder months because the doors & windows are not well fitted. the floors are uneven especially in the bathroom where water has seeped thru. during the year we lived here, we had to have our kitchen sink unclogged 4 times because of build up from the poor plumbing. our upstairs neighbor's washer flooded once and leaked thru our ceiling. the sliding door & windows don't close all the way & are mostly dented so difficult to stay open/closed. our cat killed 2 mice that were in our apartment. honestly, the entire complex should be torn down & rebuilt. don't let their community space renovations & online photos fool you. the rent & location are not worth the headaches & discomfort of living here. the only joys of living here was escaping to the cherry creek trail & Whole Foods down the road. read more

The maintenance team and the leasing team are kind people, but they do what they can with a bad apartment complex and bad leasing company. The apartments are crumbling, the neighborhood is covered in dog waste, parking is a nightmare, and paying $1600 or more for a 1-bedroom 40 year old apartment is ridiculous. The carpet in my unit smells like it's 20 years old and the cabinets are deteriorating with old white paint. I don't think neighbors are well-vetted and you'll hear fighting and yelling at 3am, drug use, etc. Looking forward to moving out! read more

I feel like I'm reading reviews from somewhere else??? I've lived here since August and this place is great! Whenever I have an issue it's resolved within two days MAX. It's a bit expensive but it's worth it for the really nice atmosphere. They take very good care of the grounds and are really responsive to everything I need. Someone mentioned something about an outdoor firepit that doesn't work. No idea what that's about. There was also a guy saying he gets off work at 2am and isn't allowed to use the gym or laundry room? Straight up lie. You use a key fob to get into the gym any time, 24 hours. There's also a keypad to get in the laundry room any time you want. If I had to nitpick for things I didn't like, I'd say that the apartment could use more storage, and maybe they could do something about the water... It never seems to get to the right temperature. The outdoor fire pit never worked - they intentionally have it disconnected. The rude and unprofessional management did not allow me to get the food and rugs , but they did charge me 150 cleaning fee to remove the rugs from the dryer and they took my frozen food and charged me a cleaning fee ! Aprtments are a dirty mess when we moved in with carpet at least 20 years old and filthy windows and no filter on the furnace so every thing had layers of dirt land dust ! Greystar is the owner of this property- they wouldn't help me fight the charges and I'm not getting an attorney for 164 plus s 500 deposit! I found out this is their practice with everyone that doesn't renew a lease. If you rent from them plan on issues with hot water heaters that are many years old and furnaces not working or appliance breaking down, with no one repairing them for weeks! read more

Such a disgusting and pathetic apartment complex. They are so unprofessional and unorganized. They were calling and harassing me and my boyfriend about resigning our lease which we told them no multiple times and was told "we made note that you are in fact giving notice" from Nora at the leasing office. Our stove top cracked and we had contacted the maintenance guy via text which I still have all the texts stating not to worry about it because the apartment was going to get redone. Now we have been moved out for a couple months now and they are calling me at work trying to get $3,000 out of me for incorrect charges. Lived here 10 months, the apartment has been good, professional management, the handful of maintenance issues I've had have usually been fixed within a day, and it's pretty quiet (both around the property of the complex and between neighbors). Biggest annoyance is the nickel-and-diming, big & small: $150 one-time admin fee, $5/month parking fee, $25 one-time fitness center access card fee, $50 move-out carpet cleaning fee. Oh, and they'll redefine your definition of time: all months in Creeksideland are 30 days, so a "12-month" lease would run like June 1 to May 26. They've taken business lessons from the airlines. Just add another $15/month to the rent so it doesn't feel like death by 1000 cuts! Being right along the Cherry Creek Trail makes downtown an easy 6-mile bike ride away. The Cherry Creek North shopping district is a bit beyond walking distance, but I haven't found that the most interesting area anyway. It's otherwise nicely centered, with short drives to LoDo, Park Hill, and the DU area. And a short walk to Bull & Bush! Not sure what the previous reviewer meant about the parking, there's tons of spots. The way it's laid out, I could see there being some portions with more demand than supply, but worst case that'd mean like a 50-yard walk. read more

I was looking into moving into one of the units at Creekside Apartments and put down the $50 plus $400 (refundable) holding fee. The website explicitly said the $400 was refundable. Lavonda Maloney was my point of contact. Due to waiting for my proof of employment as well as busy working hours, we played a bit of phone tag, however no more than two days went between communication. When I told Ms. Maloney I had decided to go with a different apartment complex, and asked for the $400 refundable holding fee to be reimbursed, her response was unprofessional and surprising. She told me it could not be refunded due to my lack in quick responses and "the time off the market". The total time from our first contact to the time I moved on to a different option and let her know was 5 days. As I said, I work a busy schedule that requires me on my phone most of the day and sometimes calls do not get returned right away. As I explained to Lavonda, there was no more than two days between communication and the total time was 5 days between when I applied and when I moved on. I find it completely baffling and unprofessional the way tjat this was handled. I'm grateful I did not decide to live under this money-scamming company. With the pandemic going on and the stress financially of that plus moving, it would be greatly appreciated if the $400 holding fee that was said to be refundable would in fact, be refunded. read more

Where to begin... The good: fairly inexpensive for the area, decent pool and volleyball court, maintenance guys are so nice and will do just about anything to try and help you out!! The dog park was cool too. The bad: Bathrooms - shower drips constantly and "can't be fixed" Kitchen- VERY cheap cabinets. drawers constantly breaking/ not closing all the way/ does not fit properly (even after maintenance). Appliances are from the 1960's by the looks of it. Move in day- did not seem all that clean, things were not ready to be used (broken drawers/ stuck doors/ etc) we filed about 6 maintenance requests right from the get go Staff: very nice when we first moved in and once we told them we were moving out (because we felt unsafe after a neighbor vandalized both of our vehicles!!!) they got impressively rude. Interesting how someone can be so nice and then become so mean when you try to remove yourself from a dangerous situation. Maintenance guys were awesome though Parking: we had bought two car ports (30$ each a month on top of the 10$ parking fee) and multiple days we found random cars parked in our spots... it took a while before anything was done about it. And then the vandalism started. My sisters car was keyed and shot at with what we assume to be a BB gun and mine had the windows vandalized and cracked with some scratches on my door. Now, the staff at Creekside did try their best to get to the bottom of it, we knew who the culprit was but without any "proof" there was nothing they could do (even though he has been trouble in the community before) so we decided to terminate our lease and get the hell out of Creekside. Thankfully we were able to leave peacefully and without crazy fees. All in all, save yourself the trouble and look elsewhere. It looks great online but that's about it. Creekside Apartments 5250 E. Cherry Creek South Dr. Denver, CO 80246 We have quite the history with Creekside that is definitely worth putting on Yelp to alarm others of what EXACTLY they are signing up for. There are a million other apartments in this location that are cheaper, nicer, and have way better staff (it wouldn't be hard to top Creekside) that I would encourage you to check out. Anything but Creekside. First off, the maintenance of the place is trashy. The inside of the apartments are worn down, drawers missing and other broken things at move-in. Multiple times our maintenance requests got marked as complete or closed when they never fixed what was requested. The walls are very thin so sound travels easily. I've seen dogs in the pool. I pay for a parking spot and both of our cars have been vandalized. But the physical appearance isn't even the worse part! We moved out of Creekside because of customer service issues. Their leasing office is useless. After our 30 day transfer period, we went into the leasing office to sign papers on the designated day that they said they would be ready. We had check-in-hand and arrived at the leasing office close to 5pm (when they close on Saturdays). The leasing lady, Jessi, told us she had a party to get to and didn't have much time. Jessi didn't know how to do the transfer paperwork on the computer and ended up telling us to come back the next day after she couldn't get ahold of her manager to walk her through the transfer steps. After talking with the manager, Tiffany, the next day, she stated that Jessi has been there since Jan-Feb and never got the proper training so basically she doesn't know how to do much. Why is she still there?! Who knows.. At this point, we decided to just move-out instead of transfer and decided to just speak to Tiffany, the manager, about it. She understood our frustrations and took it upon herself to get us situated with the move. THIS IS THE BIGGEST ISSUE Upon changing our transfer to a move-out, we were consistently concerned of fees that would be accrued at move-out. So we made sure to visit Tiffany, in person, multiple times, since she knew our situation and was honestly the only person in that office who knew what to do and how to do it. She insisted our move-out day was approved and considering our troubles we had at transfer, she would waive fees, if any. She was very apologetic and we appreciated that. Fast forward to our move-out, and we have over $1800 in fees for moving out to early!!!!! Now, this is exactly why we went into the office and directly spoke to Tiffany about many times. Knowing this, Tiffany then called her manager who basically threatened her with her job and said that it's against policy to do such a thing. And guess who's left paying the $1800?? WE ARE! Although not in writing, we have this thoroughly documented on recordings with Tiffany. She outlines exactly as I have stated above and how she was "unfortunately" notified that her waiving fees was against policy AFTER the fact. We have formally disputed the bill with Aimco who are all a bunch of robots and have done nothing about the dispute. I didn't think I could be any more frustrated with Creekside until I talked to the property managers at Aimco. Which is even scarier! Therefore, we're filing a complaint with the Better Business Bureau against Tiffany, Creekside, and Aimco to hopefully get some attention and negotiation. This is absolutely ridiculous. Not only is Tiffany and the leasing office at Creekside ignoring this, but the property managers at Aimco seem like they deal with this all the time too! Don't put yourselves in this hole of a corporation! Yelp, Facebook, Twitter, and BBB are our only hopes. Please save your money and go to ANY of the other places in this neighborhood. We moved down the street and are sooo happy to not be in Creekside anymore. Not only are Creekside apartments sub par, but their management, accounting, and employees are useless. I am confident no place on Yelp deserves 1 star more than Creekside. Whatever you do, do not rent from Creekside Apartments. From the moment I moved into these apartments, I had nothing but problems. First, we arrived with the u-haul to find my apartment not ready. We had to delay the move several hours as a result. A big inconvenience as we rented a u-haul and I had people wasting their days helping me move. I finally get moved in and wake up the next day to no hot water. It does not get fixed for a day. The water issues did not stop here. Frozen water pipes are a regular occurrence at Creekside because the plumbing system is so old. I woke up to frozen pipes about 5 times. I was unable to shower or use the bathroom and was late to work as a result each time. Their method of remedying the issue was coming over with blowtorches and heating the pipes. The second to last time this happened, they unscrewed some valve to the toilet so when everything finally unfroze, my bathroom starting flooding. I had rugs and towels ruined. The most recent experience happened in December of 2014. I was out of town for Christmas. I returned back to my apartment on December 30th to find my keys not working. I go to the front desk because no one ever answers their phones, and they inform me that my neighbor above me had frozen pipes that resulted in flooding so they had to break into my apartment (did they not have a spare key?) to ensure my pipes were okay. Turns out mine were frozen as well and there was flooding. I walk in after a day of traveling to find my closet completely emptied and all my clothes, shoes, and personal belongings just thrown on my bed and dresser. They did not even attempt to contact me about this happening. Once again, I'm without water and waiting on a plumber to come fix the old piping. He finally manages to get the water running after 8 pm. However, he somehow messes up the valves and the only water I get is now scorching hot. This hot water was so hot you couldn't keep your hand under it longer than a second. I once again call maintenance and am told I would have to wait until tomorrow when they could get him to return. The next morning approaches and I am awoken by water shooting out of the closet where the pipes are exposed from all the work they were doing. They hadn't yet resealed the wall. So, water is spraying everywhere. I am soaking wet. Everything that is on the top shelf in my closet including boxes with pictures, memories, diploma, etc. are soaked. On top of that, the water was gushing out just inches away from where the maintenance staff placed a 1200 volt space heater to keep the pipes from freezing again. This was a severe safety hazard. It was a miracle that I wasn't electrocuted while unplugging it from a distance. Of course no one is answering their phones so I have to leave my flooding apartment to run to the front desk. Maintenance finally gets down there to shut off the water. It's too late for a lot of my belongings. Keep in mind, renters insurance does not cover water damage. Due to it being New Year's Eve, Creekside could not get the plumber back right away. So, I'm without water on New Year's Eve. Creekside did not offer to compensate me for my losses or even provide a hotel room. In fact, Charla Neta was nothing but condescending and blamed me saying I left the apartment too cold while out of town. Funny since my neighbors who were in town had the same issue and this had now happened on several occasions. I ended up staying with a friend and returned home the next day to the plumber being back. He finally leaves in the pm and leaves the shower with a massive hole in it, about the size of a fist. The shower was clearly melted with a torch. The hole leads out to my closet. The maintenance manager comes backs and is pretty livid about this. He says he needs to replace my whole shower. At this point, I tell him my lease is up in a month. I am happy to just not extend it as planned and just move out then. I write a letter to Creekside informing them that I will be moving out at the end of my lease on February 9th due to all of the above issues. They approve this on January 3. Fast forward to today, and I still have not received my full deposit of $1208. They sent me a check for about $189 but no itemized explanation as to where the rest of my money is. When I called, they said they emailed me but this was false. Under Colorado's Security Deposit Law, Colorado Revised Statutes 38-12-103, the statutory time requirement of 60 days to return the deposit has passed. I have an open investigation going now with the Colorado Real Estate Commission and plan to take the necessary path to ensure my money is rightfully returned to me. I strongly discourage you from moving forward with Creekside. They are crooks. I have been living at Creekside since February 2016. The apartment was clean and pretty much ready when I moved in. Everything functions now as expected. Here is a list of the issues we've encountered: Shower - right after moving in I found that if I lift the water diverter in the shower, water would come shooting out into my closet! I submitted a trouble ticket and it was resolved within 24 hours. Step - I live on the second floor. Upon climbing the steps one day the majority of the second concrete step gave way (about 80% of it ended up on the concrete floor below) . I submitted a trouble ticket and it took 4-5 weeks for it to be fixed. Their interim solution was to put a board and two wood supports in place (none of them connected) to take place of the step. The solution was more dangerous than nothing at all. I received no response to my trouble ticket and then I had to reach out by email to Bobbie. Eventually it was fixed. The real issue is that no one communicated with myself or my neighbor. They just left us in the dark. Had they communicated that they were in the process of having a new step fabricated and given us updates it would not have been a problem. Garbage disposal - my garbage disposal sounded as though a helicopter was taking off and the sink didn't drain properly. It was like this when I moved in and I thought that is just what I should expect. Finally one day I had had enough. I submitted a trouble ticket and within 3 days a brand new disposal was installed! New fence - Creekside is installing a new fence across from my unit that separates Creekside from the property next door. They have taken 1/2 of all the parking spaces that my and other neighboring units use. Temporarily I am having to park pretty far from my apartment because all of the spaces are taken. I, nor my neighbors, were told about this in advance nor what to expect or how long it would take. In the end I like Creekside but their biggest issue is communication. They are terrible at it! If they did a better job communicating with their tenants I would've given them 4+ stars. I give them a solid 3 star review. read more

Great value for the price compared to similar listings in the area. I have been here for about 7 months and am pretty happy. Fist and foremost the Maintenance team is top notch. They typically respond to my service requests immediately and resolve them in a timely manner. The grounds are well maintained and facilities are kept up to date. In winter they are pretty good with shoveling the walkways and plowing the parking lot. The parking is cheap and abundant. In some rare instances it is a little tough to find parking near my unit but theres always parking available. The community is pretty friendly and in my experience very quiet. As someone who has been living in Capitol Hill for the last 4 years this silence is a welcome change. We're close to a lot of parks and right next to a bridge that takes you over to the Cherry Creek trail. I have not been here during the summer yet but plan to enjoy the pool. My only gripe is that I had a few issues with the unit when I came to see it (one example is a loose drawer) that were never adressed. So minus one star for that. read more

Creekside was very consumer friendly while renting me my apartment but, after I signed the lease, that changed. I now feel as though I am little more than a revenue stream. Creekside's management team takes a very long time to respond to calls and e-mails. it is not unusual for them to simply not respond at all. This month I found that I would need an extra few days to make rent. I e-mailed hoping to make arrangements. Waited over a week with no response & had to follow up myself. They refused to make arrangements electing to charge me hundreds of dollars in fees. They offered me local charity info because, I assume, they would prefer to take money from charity groups then make minor arrangements with their tenants. After I posted a negative review they called me & suggested I try to get a high interest payday loan to pay their fees. I would not recommend renting from Creekside. read more

My family and I are going on 3 years at Creekside Apartments in Denver, CO. Located in the Glendale neighbourhood, all the amenities you could possibly need are located nearby. With Colorado Blvd. just a stone's throw from the complex, you will find plenty of shopping, restaurants, and other coffee shops or bars at your convenience. The maintenance staff is always quick to get things done, and the community is kept tidy and safe at all times. Honestly, don't move in here. It's clear this group only cares about making money and not any of their residents. The first night I moved in, my car was broken into with the back two windows shattered. This happened in February 2016 and I am still waiting for someone to follow up with me. The community is terrible at communicating with their residents. For example, an xcel tower knocked out power to the community (I understand Creekside could not control this) and residents did not receive an email about a power outage until 2 hours after the power came back on. Part of the way through my lease, the community decided each car needed a sticker or it would be towed. Their email platform did not work and half the residents did not receive an email stating they needed to come into the leasing office to a sticker. The complex incorrectly towed my car and took over a week to respond to my phone calls and emails. I stopped into the office to learn why they towed my car to only get pushed out and told to read the towing sign to find my car. I was never given a full refund for the towing. My apartment (7J) does not have a functioning shower. I submitted a service request multiple times to only be told that I was overreacting, being a petty woman and I should find another option for showering. Secondly, maintenance shows up without calling. They came one day and left the door open and my dog ran out to go sniff his dog friend the community. (Thankfully the other dog owner knew him and walked him home - I learned about this story from her, not maintenance) Also, they claim to be a dog-friendly community but without telling you they charge you to replace the carpet in your apartment. I understand why this needs to be done, but I would have appreciated being told instead receiving a charge. Finally, when I moved out I was charged for issues to my bathtub (read above - I never used it) and my countertop. I agree both had issues but they were there when I moved in. Yet, I was never given any move in documentation to note these issues. I have spent the last week trying to get in touch with anyone about this and no one has called me back. I am absolutely disgusted how they treat their residents and you don't deserve the headache. Please go find somewhere else. Creekside will charge the same prices as everyone else but it does not have any of the amenities. Just a few more of the issues I have had.... The drawer in the kitchen was broken and we had it fixed by maintenance and few days later it broke. We put in a request to get out shower head fixed (it was leaking hot water all day long) and it took over 2 weeks to get it fixed. We paid our rent on time and then a few days later got a notice on our door that said we have missed a payment and were charged a $125 late fee. I checked online and it turns out the payment never went through on their website. I called customer service and they were rude and said there was nothing that they could do. read more

Wow where to start....I cant even move in to the damn place because this complex only does things via email or online. So you choose your apartment ONLINE. pay your deposit ONLINE, application fee ONLINE. I had to pay $500 just for them to run my application then they give you 72 hours to cancel and still "get your deposit back". Yet they tell you're approved within the 72 hours even though youre really not!!! So therefor your $500 is GONE! This place also has some type of call center which SUCKS BALLS because they have given me incorrect information continously!! It is VERY HARD to get a hold of someone in the office and if you ever do, you've sat on the phone for fuckin ever! I liked the layout of the apartments and the location but the CUSTOMER SERVICE IS LITERALLY THE WORST ENCOUNTER EVER!! The main reason im not moving in is due to the back and forth bullshit for the past few weeks!! I applied on the 17th and turned in all needed paperwork on the 19th....its the 29th and I still have no REAL answer (BESIDES THE CONSTANT "youre preapproved" email) !! Ive been told I am approved, im not approved, im approved under "circumstances" back to being approved with no issue ....so if you can have a better experience applying than I did, then go for it! The location seems decent but I will take a loss of $500 to not have to deal with these damn bafoons!!!! This is by far the worst place I have ever lived in. After reading all of the recent reviews, I found it almost comical that every one is so similar to the experience my roommate and I had. First of all, maintenance admitted to us that they weren't ready for us when we arrived to move in. They made us wait 30 minutes while they "handled some basic things" so that we could move in. Why was this shit not done before we arrived? After this 30 minute wait, we entered a filthy apartment. Plus there was a huge puddle of water that they said was from "cleaning". What cleaning? After cleaning the apartment ourselves, we finally moved in. We noticed that the water kept coming because the water unit in the closet was broken. We immediately called maintenance and they fixed it by putting hand towels around the pipe. The hand towels were brand new and very much red, so when they got saturated, as any somewhat intelligent human would expect, it not only was leaking water, but we had a huge red dye problem to deal with. We also had a spider and ant infestation, due to our patio and front door not sealing correctly. That was never fixed the entire time we lived there even though multiple maintenance men came to "fix" it. A month after me moved in, the apartment flooded due to heavy rain. We were told that they couldn't fix that problem for several weeks. When we asked what we should do if it rained again, we were told by leasing consultants that there was nothing they could do until the siding of our building was fixed. They nicely suggested we put all our belongings into plastic bins. What a nice way to live. Thanks for the suggestions. It was obvious that Creekside spends a lot of time hiring quality consultants. Move out- nightmare. They didn't give us money back as promised for the key we had to pay for to get into the gym, which still amazes me that such a fucking key/charge existed. We then were charged for new carpet to be installed even though the carpet looked as if it had been there for 40 years when we moved in. And, it looked worse when we moved out due to the flooding that happened because how shitty the building had been maintained. Sorry, I'm not paying for someone else to have nice carpet when we came into such a shithole. I also refuse to pay for cleaning when we had to clean the unit ourselves before we could even move in. You can never get a real person to talk to. My current apartment complex knows me by name and even knows the name of my dog. The fact that when my shower was leaking hot water at such a fast pace and I couldn't talk to a person is outrageous. When I finally walked to the front office, ever leasing consultant was on their cell phones, which is probably why they were too busy to answer the office phone. Candy Crush is a good game but fuck, what are you getting paid for?? They paused their game to tell me before they could send anyone, I needed to go online and submit a maintenance request form. Now, they keep harassing my roommate and I for hundreds of dollars in move out costs, cleaning, new carpet, so on... Yet when we request to speak with them, they never return our emails or calls. I'm close to reporting them to the better business bureau because what they are doing can't be legal. Don't let the dog park entice you to move in if you have a dog. I hardly ever let my dog into that disease infested jail. I'd have a dead dog if I did. All of the "features" were broken and almost killed me the few times I took her there. I began just playing with her in the common yards because we had a better chance of living to see the next day by doing so. (Even tho if you were caught with your dog off leash, that was a huge no-no.) They tried to make the complex smoke free, which didn't bother me much, but considering it wasn't advertised to be so when we signed our lease, you must be pretty fucking stupid to think you could actually enforce that. Maybe, instead of being the damn tobacco police, use your time to fix your shitty apartments. I'd much rather stand outside and be near someone smoking than to live inside a spider infested apartment. I will gladly tell anyone in Denver to avoid this place like the fucking plague. Hopefully this amazing 0 star review will get a comment out of this Creekside woman that keeps posting on other very satisfied previous tenants so that I can potentially set up a time to actually talk with a real human about how horrible this place made 7 months of my life. Oh ya, we also had some creep peeking through our windows and he was arrested. So feel free to walk around safely inside your apartment naked and fall victim to sexual assault. (The dude was released and continued to live in the complex.) For as many fucking notices they posted about laundry room facilities or unwarranted dogs, you'd think they'd be able to print out a notice to tenants about the fucking sex offender that somehow passed their rigorous background checks.) read more

Over priced for what you get. Hot tub has only worked for a week out of the last 5 months. Had a problem with the bath tub draining took 3 weeks to fix and they did a crappy job. Parking sucks at night, and the parking lot is full of big pot holes. Make sure you read small print on the lease. read more

Creekside's management and maintenance have been friendly and responsive. It's not an expensive place to live comparatively, but amenities are decent - fireplace and dishwasher in the apartment, a pool, workout room, dog park, ample parking, etc. It's not fancy, but we don't pay for fancy. Any issues we've had are to be expected in a property of this age, for their part management has done a good job keeping it updated and maintenance has fixed everything for us in a timely manner. Overall not many complaints, given some of the horrible places I've lived that are just as expensive as here. read more

Creekside is not bad place to live, HOWEVER, what I do not like is the fact that this complex DOES NOT have a 24 hour gym and laundry room. Everything is limited to time restrictions; gym and laundry room. I get off work at 2:00am and not being able to use the gym OR use the laundry room and since I sleep during the day, I do not have time to use the facilities, and IF I should have time, I like to do my workouts and laundry either early in the morning or late at night. read more

I really enjoy living here. I lived here back in 2013 before leaving the area. When I returned I came right back. The community is a perfect balance of quiet and tucked away with very quick access to activity outdoors and downtown via the creek path. It's right by an RTD rail stop, CO-2, and I-25. I recently just had hardwood floors installed in my apartment, which is an AMAZING addition to my home, and I felt like it was a good time to write a review of the complex. I have been living at Creekside for 4 years and just renewed my lease for a 5th. The entire complex is cute and quaint. It is a bit older but they have been slowly making renovations and additions. There rarely has been an instance when I have needed to call maintenance to fix an issue in my apartment, but the few times I have, they have responded quickly and made a replacement or repair efficiently. They are also really friendly and always willing to ask questions or try to help with accommodations. My recent hardwood install left me without an apartment for a few days, however the maintenance crew and the leasing office keep in contact and keep me informed of the status. They also offered to help me move any large furniture around. There is a spacious pool that is very rarely packed. You can always find a spot in the summer and usually meet some really awesome neighbors. There is also a small workout room, again never crowded, that is convenient and included in your rent. The grounds are very well kept. I see the maintenance crew out every morning, bright and early, picking up trash, watering flowers and maintaining the grounds. I LOVE the location. The apartment complex is literally 15 mins from anywhere in Denver, yet its quiet and a bit hidden, so there is a lot of privacy and space. Recently, the city created a bridge from Cherry Creek Drive that allows instant access to the Cherry Creek Trail. Its also really close to awesome neighborhood spots liker the Bull n Bush and the Cityset off Colorado. Also, the entire complex is super dog friendly. There are always neighbors out and about walking dogs, which gives one a great opportunity to meet new people and have a new friend for your pet. Another great addition is the dog park on the property, which is hard to find in the limited space Denver offers. For a smaller apartment complex, the grounds have a lot to offer for all sorts of activities (basketball court, volleyball court, etc), and again, its always nice to meet new people. Lastly, I think the leasing office adds a really personal touch. They seem to always know me by name and have always been really helpful in answering questions or helping me with any issues. I work in the service industry, and I have really noticed their attentiveness and have always appreciated their follow up. I know the complex is run by a larger corporate company but there is always someone who calls after a service request or when you renew your lease to ask if you have any more questions or any comments about the experience. I think it is a nice touch to customer service. I have been really happy to call Creekside my home for the last 4 years, and looking forward to year 5! read more
