This is a great stop for a coffee and a snack. They are located in a quiet strip mall away from the busy four way stop unlike cinnamon spoon. Creekers has a decent patio as well. The coffee is free refills which is awesome and the food is pretty good as well. I have tried their turkey ciabatta sandwich and it was excellent. This is a great spot to stop whether your driving, cruising on the motorbike or cycling through. read more

Here lies Creekers........... Again, being a local I try to support all the businesses here. After heading here for every meal of the day you could try, more than a dozen times in 6 months my family and I have called it quits with Creekers. A very simple break up if you ask me. Long and short of it: 1 - staff is not friendly. Sometimes I think they're made to be nervous by ownership or they're just crusty. Either way....after waiting 15 minutes for my coffee on the day my dog was torn to shreds by cougars, I wasn't impressed with being told off for wondering where it was. 2 - food never arrives at the same time for all guests 3 - food never arrives in it's entirety when placed on the table 4 - not enough condiments to go around and the ones there are encrusted in aged goo. 5 - you have to pay up front for your order which doesn't help if you want to order MORE food (though you won't want to), nor if you would like to tip your server/the staff. 6 - London Fogs are on the menu and I still have yet to order one and have the staff know what it is. On the way back a beutiful drive from Elbow Falls with the wifey and my 2 years old son back in August. we stopped at the Creekers Bistro in a small little town Brag Creek. We ordered vegi pizza, which was gross and the burger was OK, could've been better and what's a meal without the fries! but the restaurant was out of fries which was a turn off right there, but we where hungry and I always like trying these kind of small local restaurant to try out. This restaurant is absolutely horrible. Ordered a wrap, the chicken was dry, rock hard and hard to chew and tasteless. The soup was cold, the fries were raw and soggy. The bathrooms were dirty, haven't been cleaned for weeks I'm sure. I will NOT be back to this disgusting place, please beware after researching this restaurant on Alberta Health I found several alarming issues under investigation due to faulty sanitation for the kitchen tools and serving dishes and cutlery. The customer service was very unprofessional, very rude to customers, speaking in Chinese to other staff members regarding customers. My favorite thing I got here was the peanut butter cookie, it was perfect. Chewy and delicious. I also tried the Sichuan wrap without chicken. It was tasty but could have used more veggies. Epic fail on all accounts: We ordered two coffees: a latte with soy milk and an americano, as well as a cookie after a full morning of mountain biking. Cost was about $9.00. Both drinks were terrible, like super-heated brown coloured water. When I went back in, I asked to exchange the americano for a regular brewed coffee, and the "barista" (not really an applicable term) was put off by my request, though I was very polite. I had to ask if there was a place to dump the bad coffee, and she sighed with annoyance, without any apology or an offer to try again. The carafe of brewed dark roast coffee was no better: stale and weak: completely awful. To complete the experience, the soy latte was made with milk, not soy, with the same weak, terrible coffee. It should have been sent back too. The cookie we bought was the only consumable item. We were too tired at that point of the day to go back inside and ask for a refund, but in hindsight, we should have. Sometimes the aggravation isn't worth it. Yes, it's "just" two coffees, but the rude response and piss-poor coffee made us feel ripped off. Anywhere but here is a better choice. The only positive is their large, sunny patio. read more

Worst pizza ever!! We ordered teo large pizzas with gluten free crust. Crust tasteless and hard. Topings were not visible other than a couple of thin slices of salami. My friend had the veggie burger (which I've had before and was delicious!) and I had the hash browns with poached egg and roasted vegetables. It was fresh, hot, and not too salty! Stopped in yesterday after hiking and we were starving. 3 of us ordered burgers which were the most terrible dried out ones we all have ever had. Frozen over cooked patties which resembled hockey pucks. The fourth in our party had a beef dip which he said was decent. We were all starving and ate the meals but immediately regretted not just giving the food back. My recommendation is to take the burgers off the menu and stick to sandwiches. Team Fam came here for lunch and I went halfsies for the following: Reuben Panini Homemade BBQ Burger with bacon The Reuben came with Swiss cheese, German pastrami, and a Russian spread (tastes like mustard). The grill lines here were a checkered pattern and made gripping the sandwich really easy. The panini had a nice crunch on the breading and the melted cheese made it extra gooey. The coleslaw on the side was a nice excuse for vegetables in my diet. The Homemade BBQ Burger was a pretty loaded burger sandwiched between two slices of sourdough. With lettuce, red onion, and tomato, you've got most of the works of a regular burger. I opted to add some bacon into it just for fun, but it's not necessary. The BBQ burger had a bit of a charred taste to it indicating that it was indeed on some sort of grill and there was again a coleslaw on the side to make one feel like one has enough vegetables in their diet. Overall I think the burger was the better of the two options and the sourdough really helps add a firm grip with the crust on the side. read more

Worst latte I've ever had. It was like brown water with hot milk. I think asking for my money back would have been a better idea then asking for it to be remade because my husband's latte was terrible, as well, and the girl playing the role of barista was, to put it mildly, less than approachable. I did neither, but suffered through it, and eventually helped myself to some regular coffee from the carafe on counter. The dilution of real coffee would have improved my latte, but as it turned the regular coffee was just brown water as well. The place was busy there isn't much to choose from as the best coffee place in town didn't seem to come back (for long) after last year's flood. Too bad. Since it was in a take out cup I did take it with me when I left, as I will often finish off a cold latte in the car, even a day or two later. This one went into the trash. I could have found much more pleasant ways to throw away $10. I gave them a one star because I it's the lowest rating available. And to answer a previous yelper's comments - Creeker's doesn't lack ambience, it's clean and modern and how hard the owner works is an irrelevant response to disappointment expressed in the service (and lattes). read more

We have eaten here three times, hoping that it will get better, but the last time was the final straw. The service was horrid. The place was half full and the service was tortoise slow. Our waitress had zero knowledge on the wine and actually forgot to bring it to us...twice! One woman was running around trying to help and kept saying something like, "I am an owner but don't really serve" and kept apologizing for herself having to serve us. Quite Bizarre. I dropped in here after a lovely drive around the Elbow Valley. I'm happy I found this place after wandering through a few of the other nearby establishments. This was exactly was I was looking for! A coffee place with a sunny patio to relax! The interior is very nice and the menu has a lot of choice. I ordered the turkey meatball sandwich, beef and barley soup, and a latte. I shared my meal with my 10 month old and he liked everything...not the coffee that is solely mommys. The sandwich and the soup were very tasty. The broth had lots of depth and the latte was perfect. They have a few dishes that aren't in the deli and do special meals on occasion; and yes, you can order at a table, instead of what the other reviewer found. What is wrong with you Yelpers? Yes, Creekers may lack some ambience, but owner John does the lion's share of cooking and makes most things from scratch, including the turkey meatballs for some fine sandwiches. It's certainly the best place to eat in these parts and affordable to boot. read more

If you like eggs Benedict then you need to try the brunch on Sundays. My kids always get the nutella banana waffles, which are delicious and my husband and I get Benedict's. They are served on cones, I get mine with mushrooms. The sauce is delicious. It served with fruit and chunked potatoes with cubed vegetables. We go at least twice a month. read more

We love the Szechuan wrap it is AMAZING. My husband and I usually share it. We have also tried the beef dip and Rueben. Both were good but the wrap still takes the cake! Well hello there, today I had a great ride out in west bragg a with a good friend. So naturally we decided to grab a beer and a bite to eat afterwards. I have been to creekers bistro 3 times and this is definitely the last time, im pretty easy going and usually not one to take the time to write a review, good or bad, but I thought I should this time. Service was fine nothing spectacular, but she was very friendly and real. When we ordered, we both got the creekers burger which on the menu is $8 and I added fries for an additional $3, I also felt that Apple wood bacon would be a nice touch to my well earned appetite, which was $1.50. Totally fine with paying for all that, as if I went to any pub or restaurant in Calgary my total would be the same for a burger and fries, roughly. I probably got 15 sweet potato fries and one piece of bacon that was broken in half. Burger was mediocre for a frozen patty and the sweet potato fries came out of a bag, the bun was great though nice and moist. But the biggest problem was when we got the bill, the burger was $9 and the sweet potato fries were $3.50, not going to break the bank, I'll survive. But when I said it seemed a bit expensive, the waitress said that the guy behind the counter said it wasn't enough. So he added $1 to the burger and $0.50 to the sweet potato fries (the menu said $8 and $3). I'm the kind of guy that is about principal. You dont do things that contradict something else, especially a menu in the place you have worked for quite sometime. I'm almost done my rant here now, sorry to write so much, but that mentality bothers me. Advice to creekers small things count, for $3 give your customers a pile of fries. As they know how much a potato costs. It would go a long ways. Wont be coming to see your bistro again and that's a shame, because I come to bragg creek to ride at least twice a week in the summer and try to support small businesses.
