High quality meat and good value. I went there about a month ago. The bratwurst is superb and the head cheese about the best I have had from the meat delis in the city. Those were the two best things I got there. I think the they rate ahead of Polcan in this area but Polcan's traditional smoked ham sausage is better. So if you want the best of both worlds you have to go to both of these places. read more

This place is fantastic. It reminds me of the kind of deli my mom brought me to as a kid. The meat has no additives or preservatives. They carry my favourite MC Dairy sour cream and cow candy fudge treats. They sometimes get crazy busy on Saturdays with a long line up. Unfortunately, they are closed on Mondays to give workers a full two day weekend. read more

This is an excellent Polish deli owned by a real butcher who makes all the meat products. You can get ground beef and pork which they will grind from real meat when you order it. There is also an assortment of Polish and other European imported products. read more

If you want serious sausage and cured/smoked meats, go to Old Fashioned on Cleveland Crescent. If you want quality cuts of meat, go to Jans. His cuts of pork and beef are better than the equivalent at Bon-Ton. He's not the sausage maker, he's the butcher you need. His scratch perogies are good, as is his smoked mackerel. In a pinch grab your ham or bacon from him too. As with Old Fashioned, Jans has many other Polish things to buy. I use him for mineral water a lot. If you live in the hood this place needs to be as basic a stop as Sunnyside Market. As with Old Fashioned, closed Mondays... yum! read more

I love how I get the personal attention I need to figure out cuts and how the meat is cut as it is ordered. I only buy my bacon from here now. Nothing else compares! So easy to drive to and being beside Ten Thousand Villages on Crowchild allows me to also get my fair trade coffee. It is a pleasant Polish market with plenty of fresh meats, cold cuts, and speciality cheeses ,eggs and breads. They are true meat cutters. Their meat is very lean, their ribs are tender and lean. I love the that we can purchase homemade pyrogies, cabbage rolls, and dill pickles. Cold cuts are always fresh, bacon is smoked and lean. We love the assortment of polish mustards, jelly and jams, mayo, free range eggs, and horseradish. I could not imagine not shopping at such a wonderful, friendly shop with quality goods at very reasonable prices. Thank you for always being their, with your friendly and wonderful service. Great location in central. Homemade products are made very well. Quiet atmosphere when served in store. Imported items are maybe higher in price than in other polish stores but you save on time and gas. read more
