I brought it in Monday morning, and they had it ready for me by Tuesday evening, just before my interview on Wednesday morning. I couldn't be more grateful! Beautiful work, quick turnaround, and very reasonable prices. Not to mention, I didn't realize they are cash only, and I didn't have cash when I dropped it off. They graciously allowed me to pay during pickup instead. The sleeves were shortened about 3", and they charged $60 for the blazer, $30 for the shirt, and no extra cost for the short notice. I tipped an extra $10 of course, they deserve it!

We brought it to a business in modesto and it took two weeks to finished and when we picked it up they sewed it on wrong. My son goes back in a couple of days we are short on time. We googled and found Maria's Tailoring and Alteration. When we arrived we told her our situation and how urgent we needed it done. She did it within two Hrs. When we came to pick it up and pay for her services she refused to take payment. We are so thankful. Our son greatly appreciates it. Her kindness should not go unnoticed. I asked if there was any way we could remove the weird netting on the back of my dress and instead add a bow, and she absolutely nailed it! We ended up hemming, lowering the slit by adding a stitch right above the knee, and adding a bow to the back. She found a great color/fabric match for the bow and was done very quickly (about a week and a half). Pricing was fair! Super quick turnaround compared to the others I reached out to especially since it was a Saturday. After our initial call, we set a date for me to bring my wedding dress in & she is very flexible when it comes to scheduling so that was a plus since I am located in Modesto. When I arrived for my appointment, she was so sweet & took her time to walk me through all her recommendations and just let me know exactly what she was going to do with my dress. She was transparent about extra labor needed due to my dress being beaded so it would have to be done by hand instead of a sewing machine. She was upfront about the cost as well, she wanted to make sure we were aligned before continuing which I appreciated. I am a sweaty-betty so I brought my own mini-fan to use during my fitting but Karalin saved the day with these neck-fans that I was able to use so I didn't have to hold anything in my hand during my appointment. Talk about prepped for anything! She's great! My appointment was August 21 and she gave me an estimate to have my dress ready by October 1 to give me some time to perfect anything before my October 25 wedding date. So it was an awesome surprise when she reached out to me on August 31 stating that my dress was ready for fitting & pick-up. Talk about underpromising and overdelivering! When I went for my fitting and to pick up my dress, I wanted to record how to bustle my dress & Karalin was so sweet, she literally helped with a 15-min recording to provide a walk-through for those who would help me with my bustle on my wedding day. She didn't have to do that but she didn't hesitate when I asked. Overall, Karalin was a pleasure to work with and I would recommend her over and over again to anyone that will listen. I brought them to Ursula and she did all alterations for FREE! She did such a good job and was so quick I brought my sister to her to use for her wedding. Ursula did a wonderful job with my sisters ornate wedding dress and all of the wedding party. She was so pleasant and flexible during the stressful time. Not to mention her prices are extremely low considering the quality. She loves what she does and it shows!
