The bottom of my dress was only half done. I paid to have it hemmed & I paid in advance I will never do that again. She said she only did half the hem because her machine broke. She didn't call to tell me it won't be finished so I would have time to take it somewhere else to get it finished. Nor would she refund half my money for half a job. She was rude & mean and told me it should not matter it wasnt done & who cares anyway. Um I do I paid $60 for the dress plus her fee to not have it done or done right & now I have to scramble to get it fixed. Never ever go here. I would give 0 stars. read more

I called to ask about have a few dresses hemmed. She told me to call back the next day to get her address so I could take the dresses over. I called the next day and left a message. She asked me why I had to check her work. I was completely shocked and said "Well, why wouldn't I?" Her work was good, but I don't need the pissy attitude that goes along with it. I called 30mins before they closed, the woman was so nice! She altered my suit jacket within the hour because I need it for NYE and she'd be closed. She steamed out the wrinkles and didn't even charge me a rush fee. Best customer service experience honestly. Felt really special and the hem job came out great. Now I don't look like in wearing my fathers suit. Will go back again for any other future alterations and already recommended to my friends. read more

Most unprofessional, abusive, rude woman I have EVER encountered in a service industry . I cannot believe this place is still in business !!! My daughter and her boyfriend took a pair of men's dress pants in to be hemmed . They took them on Friday morning and asked if she could have them done by the end of the day ( on the same day. ) she assured them they would be ready . They needed them for an out of town wedding the next day . They had checked other shops and were told the pants could not be done in one day. So they were relieved when they were assured the pants would be done. She told them she would call when the pants were ready . At three my daughter called and the woman told her the pants were not ready . She would call my daughter back when they were. She said she closed at 5:30pm. At 5, my daughter called again and there was no answer . Boyfriend went to shop . Closed . Sign on window says closed on Saturday and Sunday . Ok . Boyfriend goes and buys another pair of dress pants and I hem them myself so at least he has pants to wear . I am not a seamstress ! Saturday morning I drive by the shop . Open sign on and door open . I went in and started to ask about the pants . I thought if she had not done them, he could get a refund where he purchased them. She immediately started to SCREAM at me as soon as she realized which pants I was talking about . She said they never came to get them and never called , she said she does not call customers to let them know things are finished . All of this was untrue . She then said she would not speak to me because I did not have the 'slip'. I called boyfriend and he brought it down . She called us both liars and proceeded to yell and asked me to wait on the car when he tried on the pants . I told her no . She would not give me a receipt when we paid cash . Said I had a 'mouth' on me and said she felt bad for my husband . At this point another lady came in with clothes and stood there shocked ... I cannot believe the absolute abusiveness of this women . DO NOT USE this business unless you enjoy abuse . It cost my daughters boyfriend the price of a 'backup' pair of pants and the fee for the hem at this horrible shop .... Beware! read more

Nice enough ladies working their but poor quality. I took in a pair of pants to have taken in and those came out perfect, so I later took in a top, a dress and a skirt. The dress came out a 1/2 inch too short from what we'd agreed on and just the quality of the hem was poor. The skirt came out crooked and worse than my dress. When she called me to pick up the last three pieces I went in and she only had two ready. The top I had to go back for and I did I could tell that she messed up on it and then tried to clean it up, but the fabric was so thin that you can tell where it was redone! :( read more

This woman, Ann, does not know what she is doing. She was suppose to alter a sport jacket sleeves and she butchered it. The seam was all wavy and bunched up and she had the buttons on the sleeves over lapping one another. It was a terrible job. We had to take it somewhere else to have her work repaired. She had the nerve to act ugly toward us. I do not recommend this establishment. Hemmed lots of jeans and pants from here The job is more than perfect. The seams are always better than the original. Also had my two sons clothes alterations done her to our satisfaction. I would always recommend them.Also the price is reasonable. I feel like Ann enjoys doing what she does. The WORST customer service I have ever experienced. Brought in a brand new modcloth BB Dakota lace dress($100+) to be altered. Horrible outcome, the lace was what appeared to be cut, the band was poorly sewed on and was coming off. my tags had been removed from the dress, and the zipper no longer unzipped all the way down. When I brought it back to the shop the owner immediatly said "this is not me, I did not do this" before she had even looked at the damaged dress. She became very rude and yelled at me. Yes actually yelled at me. Said that i had sat down and ripped it. I had not even worn the dress yet! She went on and on about how hard she works and that she charged me way less than the work she did on it. I paid $45 for her to take 3 inches in on the waist! She began ranting on and on about other customers. How that applied to me I have no clue. Only after telling her that i would not put up with her rudeness and would call my bank to cancel the $45.00 that I had paid to have my dress destroyed, did she say that she would fix it. At this point i didnt want her touching the dress. But she wouldnt give it back to me and insisted. Oh and to top things off she smokes in the doorway of her establishment allowing all the smoke to enter the shop where customers clothes are hanging, as well as allows the help to try on customers garments(upon entering w/destroyed dress i saw the help trying on a dress, she immediatley dissappeared into the back when the shop owner began yelling at me) read more
