I came in as a walk in roughly about three weeks before a wedding that I am in. Isabel was kind enough to squeeze me in between clients when one was running late. I had went to pick my dress up not needed to try it on however when I got home the dress was almost an inch to short, my mom was pretty frustrated as I was too knowing i couldn't do anything about it before the weeding, my mom ran down to creative stitches to talk to Isabell (the owner) she had said she had never had this happen and genuinely she was very disappointed in herself. She told me to bing in the dress as she would make it right before the wedding, thankfully all it needed was a good stretch and steam and now it is perfect! She felt so bad she gave me my money back and a little more for compensation which I felt bad for taking but she insisted. Pretty rude - I went in there today to make an appt and she scolded me for needing something in 2 weeks. She then practically yells at me when I showed her sleeves I needed hemmed because she said it's not possible. Well I sent to someone else and they didn't have an issue with it. She was actually really mean and condescending. Assuming her actual work is good based on the reviews, but I found her demeanor awful and would not use her. Customer service is important and just because she's the only tailor in town doesn't give her the excuse to me be mean. Would not recommend unless you like to be berated. read more

This lady is amazing!!! I was a bridesmaid in a wedding recently, and she saved my butt. My dress came in 8 inches too large, with only 2 weeks to the wedding. She was able to take the dress in, plus hem 3 layers and made it look fantastic in a week and a half. She even sewed in some cups after I tried it on for the final time to help fill out the bust (since the dress was made so large, the bust was extremely large and because of the style, she couldn't do anything about it).
