Not realizing she un-crisscross the straps till after I got home to try it on with my shoes. That when I realized the straps weren't criss-cross. When I pointed out the mistake, she told me, "We cannot undo what has been done." Also, when I went to show the dress to the bride to see if what was done would be okay, the zipper in the back split. The job was done so poorly that the dress became completely unwearable. I ended up having to order a brand-new dress because of the damage. When I told her I had to order a new dress I reached out to see if she would consider a refund. Her response was, "I'm sorry but I don't issue refunds . It took me time to do those alterations and I deserve to have my time be paid for" This was not only dismissive but incredibly unprofessional. I was left with a ruined dress, wasted money, and zero accountability from the business. If you value your clothing and don't want to risk the same treatment, I strongly suggest going somewhere else for alterations.

I'm a 29yo, 5'7" male and pretty skinny, so even slim fit clothes are often a little baggy. After a particularly frustrating shopping trip I ended up searching on yelp and found Joanne. I like to dress nice for work, and I know I'm going to look so much better with well fitting clothes. It was also extremely convenient because we live right around the corner from each other! First of all, Nancy is amazing!!…read more I am from out of state and was in need of a bridal gown. I had four days to find one for my wedding day. My original dress was not working out. I walked in and told Nancy my dilemma. She was quick to start pulling dresses for me to try on. Nancy was very attentive and accommodating. She listened when I told her what type of dress I wanted. I was thankful to be able to find a beautiful dress right off of the rack. For being a floor sample, all of the beading was intact and did not need to be dry cleaned. Lucky for me it did not need alterations, although I needed it bustled. Nancy was able to have my dress ready the morning of my wedding. She did a wonderful job. I found a dress that I felt beautiful in. And the bustle she did looked so elegant. Nancy is a life saver!! If I ever need anything when I'm the area, I would use her.

The selection of dresses were beautiful and a wide range of styles. Nancy herself was so welcoming and I felt very comfortable with her and the store.
