They do a great job with their buying- both quality and top brands are clearly a priority. I have sold a fair amount of my daughters clothing here and opt for store credit rather than cash- then I use the credit to buy whatever she's in need of- most recently dancewear and a rain jacket. Mama Goose carries new & used shoes, baby gear like strollers and cribs, seasonal clothing, gifts, maternity clothing as well as books and toys. I love this little shop and try to stop in every time I'm in Ithaca.

The contents of the stores are the same as you'd find anywhere, but the atmosphere is unappealing and a little despondent. Out of all the Premium Outlets I've visited this one has probably been the most meh. The various store employees were mixed. There were some that were helpful, and other that sort of helped begrudgingly like they were doing you a favor. The upsides are that there is a lot of parking available, you're probably not going to have to deal with lines, and the stores all seemed well-stocked. The Shake Shack is not in the outlet mall, it's on the other side of the highway.

What comes out at you is seeing the interior, clean and all, but filled with empty stores and dark with some of the lighting being off. Usually in those situations, their trying to save money by cutting down on electricity, which is no issue, but as long nobody gets hurt in the dark areas. It was pretty easy to navigate the mall, as I didn't need to look at the map for the most part - only two main hallways which makes it extremely convenient to not get lost. Some businesses I found here caught me by surprise and remained open still such as JCPenney, Ruby Tuesday, Burlington, and FYE. As long as they are still thriving, that's what matters. There were no signs indicating that were closing soon, and most of the inventory looked in great shape. The majority of the other stores seemed to be doing okay on my visit, none of which I saw were closing soon. Depending on each store, some looked busier than others, which didn't come as a surprise for the most part, but the time of the day and year plays a role in it as well. The food court looked okay, with some open and closed as well, and looks good for the most part. It's not the prettiest-looking place that's eye appealing, but is clean and kept up which matters the most. They had decent choices to offer just by looking. The movie theater is still open and running which is great to see. Overall, the mall I believe falls in the dead category. Although some sections of the mall are dead, others are alive and filled with shoppers. It looks like it depends on the area. Even though that is now, that could change in no time.

Our family lost our house to a fire, so we are "frequent fliers." Most of the furniture that we now have was purchased at Mimi's. The pieces we bought all have some small story behind them which we enjoy. Mimi's has been a godsend for us. Mimi's is conveniently located in downtown Ithaca, the staff is friendly & helpful, prices are reasonable and there's always something fun and funky to marvel at even if you don't take it home with you. There are a few prime meter-free spots, but bring some change with you in case you need to park on the street. The staff has tape measures handy, but if you're looking to fill a space at home remember to give it a quick measure to ease your shopping. Mimi's, at times, can be jam-packed full of good things and navigation can be tricky if you have mobility issues. Well worth checking out again and again in person and online!

And they have a good sparkly jewelry collection. Dont bring a beverage in here because if you do they will be nice about it but know that they will offer to keep it up at the counter while you shop. No wonder they have this rule because the space between clothing racks is about three inches! You get the idea.
