Walked in the salon around 4:05. Asked if they had time for pedicure. They said yep pick a color and come back and sit down. Did that. Sat down. The guy asked what kind of pedicure I wanted, let him know the basic at $35 plus callus remover. He finished my entire pedicure by 4:20. How was I supposed to enjoy a pedicure that lasted less than 15min? You just made $40 (without tip) in 15min. And I was supposed to enjoy a foot soak, foot rub, and have my callus removed? How was any of that accomplished in 15min? Worst Pedicure Ever! Never returning. And definitely not recommending. Especially when multiple ladies were having a pedicure done before I sat down and were still there after I was done. read more

Very disappointed and frankly very upset. I will not be returning here. I am not one to go out and get manicures, having only gotten a grand total of 2 in my entire life (one in high school and one for my wedding). I have never had a pedicure. My friend convinced me to go out and get both as a fun adventure this weekend saying I would love the experience. First, the pedicure. The woman who worked on my feet was extremely rough and the experience was actually painful. I expressed I was in pain but she did nothing to change what she was doing or to help alleviate my pain. I looked at my feet to realize my toes were bleeding where she had been attempting to remove the cuticles. The lady had done nothing to stop the bleeding or tend to the wound, and she never put on gloves at any point considering she was now dealing with blood. She had me putting my feet, while bleeding, back into the water and I think the worst part is that they do not change this water between customers so later on a girl came in and soaked in her feet in the same water my bleeding feet had been in. Moving on to the manicure, things did not get any better. I was again in pain (something never experienced before during my other manicures) and she made a very half hearted attempt at filing my nails. Several of them are crooked and were not cut or filed at all. After she caused my fingers to start bleeding she asked me to pay before completing the manicure, something I was very uncomfortable with but agreed to in hopes to get me out of the store quickly. After paying she began to paint my nails, and I had to stop her and show her that one of my fingers was bleeding because she was about to paint over the blood that was on my nail. She removed the blood from my nail with acetone which was extremely painful to a fresh injury. It was also at this point that I noticed she was getting blood on the brush used to distribute the nail polish and then putting it back in the bottle. I did not have a pleasant or enjoyable experience and I consider this $40 absolutely and utterly wasted. I could have done a better job at home and I would not have injuries to show for it. read more

very unbelievable service. i've been going to creative nails since i moved to south carolina in 2010. Me and my daughter go here all the time an get great service. Today we went an received terrible service with the owner and the bald male. christina usually fixes our nails because no one seems to get the shape or design right. She kicked us out of her nail salon with unfinished nails because we did not appreciate our nails and the attitude from the male. i will never return and you shouldn't waste your money here either. read more

GROSS! Will not be back. First gross thing: I asked for some nail polish remover for my tester finger, the lady pulled out used cotton from her trash bag (already had polish on it and I came in without any polish on) and wiped my nail before I could say anything. Asked to speak to a manager/owner and the lady waited and thought about it then pointed me to a guy sitting on the couch. When I told him about it he said it must have been a mistake because they don't do that there. I pointed out that it makes me concerned about the cleanliness of their tools as well. Second gross thing: I got home and I reeked of smoke! I thought it was my hair but then smelled my clothes and every piece of clothing I had on (including an undershirt) smelled of smoke!! Yep, I still get pedis now that the weather has turned cooler and I do not wear sandals as much. I had a majorly cracked heel that I wanted taken care of and my toenails needed some attention as well. I have been coming here numerous times since I moved here 5+ years ago. They really have updated their interior of their store to make it nicer inside since I started coming here. Prices are comparable to other nail salons in the area, but they do charge $5 extra to smooth out your calloused heels / feet. One of the busier nail salons I have been to during the summer months and might be a good idea to make an appointment. read more

Seem like nice people, but very sloppy/bad job on mani/pedi (especially for $75)!!! The cut was crooked and the polish (french) had uneven coverage in places. They didn't do the usual cuticle trimming/prep I've had at other places (no leg/hand/arm massage either). Definitely think I was overcharged, but after being in there for hours trying to very nicely explain that what they were doing was not up to par, I was just ready to get the heck out! I had the gel coat done and it was already chipping/pealing within days. Maybe the lady I had was new/inexperienced or just had a bad day, but I won't be going back. read more

I guess for me I had a great experience. I've only been twice and both times the tech did my nails super professionally. They aren't chatty which is nice but the only downside is that the cigar smoke from the place next door comes into the salon. It is smelly! I also loved the huge amount of both regular nail polish and gel nails polish. It was literally the biggest selection I've ever seen. I am returning today and hoping for the same awesome experience. DO NOT GO HERE. I went there yesterday to get my nails done. Over the past couple years I have ALWAYS gone there. Never again. The woman spilt cuticle oil all over my leather purse. Not only did no one apologize, they want to get out of replacing it by saying they thought my purse was old and that it wouldnt be worth replacing to them and offered to let me leave my purse there to see if they could fix it and then said since I had a couple smaller stains from my own doing, they should only have to pay about half, if anything for it to be replaced. The best part of all of it was hearing them ask "Well what do you want us to do about it?"... They were very rude and just didn't care at all that their employee had ruined a $300 purse. read more

The brand new owner has made such a grand effort to show his true loyalty to his customers. John is kind and compassionate and sincerely wants you to have the very best experience, he proved it to my daughter and myself with flying colors and I mean flying!! If there is anything you don't like, he will make it right. It's his promise. Now, so often people do not give owners the benefit of the doubt and they write bad reviews and that is entirely unfair. Any good businessman/woman will take care of their customers and this salon does. We couldn't sing higher praises for this place. We are loyal customers for life. Great salon in every way!! STAY AWAY! My pedicure was subpar at best. The real issue was with my daughter. The nail tech was an older women she began immediately complaining to us and the other nail techs when she realized she was going to do my six year olds toes. This continued for about 10 minutes. When she began she immediately started scolding my child that if she wasn't still she wouldn't pain her nails. When she rubbed my child's feet with the scrubber my child began to laugh and moved slightly. She grabbed my child's foot and snatched her leg forward aggressively, while yelling at her. This last a good 20-30 seconds: If it were not for me staring her down and saying excuse me along with other adults patrons now staring, this behavior would have continued. I even asked her child if she wanted to leave due to this adults behavior. One of the WORST experiences ever! i have gone to creative nails since i moved here in april 2018. my cousin came in from out of town and already had a brand new set of acryillics on prior to walking in the salon. she had a gel polish on and that she wanted just a gel polish change. she was charged $35.00 for a polish change. not a manicure, not a full set, a polish change. absolutely obsered pricing. you have lost my business. i will be going somewhere else that has reasonable pricing. read more

I went in for a full set of fake nails with a gel color on top (I even showed a picture). The technician convinced me I didn't need tips put on (same price but less work for him) and also told me to skip the color and do a clear only polish. Without tips my nails were shorter than what I wanted but he said "give it two weeks, they will grow." After I said I really wanted some color he said it wouldn't look good, that color polish is too thick. At the end I said it wasn't like what I asked for and asked for a color on top. He said it's too late- my nails are too shiny now and it wouldn't stick. SO many excuses and laziness just to avoid giving me something CLOSE to what I asked for. I paid $45, and My husband thought I decided not to get my nails done bc he couldn't even tell a difference. Will never go here again. read more

I've gone to Andy for pink & white fill-ins for 2.5 years. My nails always look great and I've never seen anyone else's look better. Andy is always pleasant, efficient, and does exactly what I want. Today I went in for my appt and was literally suffocating from the cigarette smoke. It permeates the entire salon. I stayed 15 mins and had to walk out. I've only had to leave one other time because it was so heavy with cigarette smell but today was the worst. I have asked them before why they don't stop the smoking in their place of business and everybody there tells me it's a result of the cigar shop next door. Well, that's a lie. I talked to the people in the cigar shop and was told that Creative Nails is blaming them for their awful smoke smell. He said they've never once mentioned it to him. Also, Creative Nails smells like cigarettes; not cigars. The cigar shop smells like cigars, not cigarettes. I am very disappointed that I'm going to have to find someone else to do my nails because Andy has always been the best but I cannot tolerate, especially in this day and age, walking out of a nail salon with my clothes & hair reeking of cigarettes. read more

This was the worst nail experience I have ever had. My boyfriend and I were getting pedicures and I was getting a gel polish change on my hands. His was deluxe and mine had gel polish. I asked if someone could give me a gel polish Change during my pedicure. He said everyone was too Busy. There were 6 nail techs that were doing nothing but he said he would do mine after my gel polish on my toes. He told us it would be an extra 20 minutes but it was an extra 45 minutes. I usually pay $50 for a gel pedicure and a hand gel polish change total. A deluxe pedicure usually cost $35 at the most at the finest of Asian salons. I get my bill and it was $130. I was so in a rush to get out of there I didn't even think of it and tipped the man $25. Then I was wondering how my bill could've added up so high. We weren't in a fine nail salon in a resort. We were in really cheap Asian place in a mini mall. I just had to call the salon and find out what cost so much. From their information they told me that putting gel on my toes addition to the pedicure with an extra $30 after I paid the bill. $30 assist is a substantial amount of money and they didn't warn me about that price advance and never have I been to a salon mini mall or resort where the charge for gel was over $15. Dear unapologetic about this price but after several minutes of convincing him how wrong their business techniques are they agreed to refund me the tip which was $30. OMG, I walked in and a guy doing a ladys nails ask what I needed and I said a pedicure he said pick a color, another person was looking at the polish so I was giving her time to choose hers again he said pick a color and I said a when she picks hers I will. I was called back with in minutes and the tech ask if I wanted regular or deluxe I said regular. Well my feet were put in the water and out very fast no soaking. She trimmed my nails and a light scrub, my cuticles were not cut just pushed back. The lady in the chair beside me I will say left with a beautiful pedicure. I ask for a French, she did not put a base coat or top coat on an the white is running into the clear pink and I paid $35 for my feet to look like this. I guess I should have gotten the deluxe pedicure and I won't mention my manicure which was a nightmare, the tech made me cry twice. I made an appointment for three of us girls to get our nails done for engagement photos one girl was having done. Clearly making an appointment was pointless since we waited an hour to get seen. This was the worse manicure I've ever had done. The man I had didn't massage my hands, give me lotion or scrub. I had to ask him if I could have some exfoliator to use to wash my hands. When I came back to sit down, I waited at least 10 minutes for him to finish his lunch. I tired to have a conversation with him but he was extremely rude. Not only was he rude to me, but rude to his co-worker that was doing my sister's nails. He had me pay before he did my nails, which would have been fine, but I tipped him well (like I would anywhere) but he was awful. I'm usually someone who is too shy to complain or say anything, but this was such a terrible experience especially when it was for the other girl who was getting engaged. She asked to get her eyebrows waxed and we waited forever and no one helped her, so we left and went to Allure to have them done and the people there were so much more friendly.
