Just wanted to give a shoutout/recommendation for Grand Design Supply who did some iron work for us…read morerecently. ( GrandDesignSupply@gmail.com - 917-213-3049) We are over here at Henry St Brooklyn Heights and had a problem with our external metal door. Its over 100 years old etc.....so only fair it needs replacing, but seriously the effort to find someone to replace "the exact design" to bypass any landmark issues was ridiculous and it took me over 6 months to find Jason. I had quotes from $3,000 to repair to $15,000 and 6 months because they got their doors made in China.... (even wanted me to buy the same lock and strike plate and send it to china to get it installed there). I found jason eventually and he offered suggestions on how to tackle the project and sent through a quote i thought was reasonable and apart from we had no metal door for a week (they took the original to the shop to measure it/replicate it exactly) it was a breeze, seriously if you look at it today.....you cant tell it was ever replaced and good for another 100 years?
