Save The Day Restoration - Frank Yanonis, Restoration Expert & Owner of Save The Day Restoration, LA's #1 Restoration Company for Water, Fire & Mold Damages.

His crew is professional, punctual, and patient. I'm an over-planner and worrier, but Danny and Daniel were always patient, kind, and thorough in their explanations, putting my mind at ease. Frank was also always accessible over the phone and text message if I had additional questions about scheduling and the scope of work. The company also offers general construction services, and Frank offered a bid to patch an exterior stucco wall that our plumber had to get into. Based on our positive experience with the concurrent moisture mitigation work, we decided to contract with Frank on the patching project, too. All in all, I wouldn't hesitate to work with Frank and his team again. I highly recommend Save The Day Restoration!

We are extremely happy with the workmanship, expertise and customer service of Save the Day…read moreRestoration. This is the third time we have used this firm and the third time we have been completely satisfied. This refurbishment included removing all carpet from stairs, upstairs landing, office, bedroom and bathroom. They evaluated the subfloor, made repairs where needed, laid a cork layer and then Cali-Board luxury vinyl throughout, with new tile in the bathroom. The bathroom had a new vanity installed, and new lighted mirror. All rooms were prepped, primed and painted. New base, case and crown were installed. The staircase was redone with the same flooring and beautiful bullnose. It is gorgeous, and our home is completely redone. The two key features that set this company apart from others in our 50 years in this home are: (1) They take pictures of each room, remove and carefully pack everything up, AND unpack and return everything to its place, even rehanging pictures! (2) Their employees are skilled, eager to please, and want to do a job that leaves you happy they were there! The workers deserve more than a sentence. Jonathon has been here three times, on this visit he transformed our staircase, it is perfectly done. The white trim he applied is exact, and enhanced the stairway in a manner we did not expect. Jaime kept all workers progressing without any sacrifice of quality, he and Jonathon can do any task/trade. The crew, Pato, Joshua, Tony, Angel, Danny, Daniel, Edwin, and Maricio did a perfect job laying the flooring, painting, applying the trim, and replacing all items. The plumbers, Xavier and Alan excellent as well. We are so happy. Their prices are reasonable per my retired general contractor husband, and Frank, the owner, has embraced a business culture that puts the homeowner first.

His team set up a solid containment, performed the work to scope, and passed clearance testing with a third party company. They also offered to leave their containment up (including some temp poles) for the duration of my build-back project. The team was careful of my house during the demo which involved carrying large, heavy pieces of shower glass down some stairs and through some turns. The only downside I found during the process was the need to pay for the site visit for the quote. This payment is credited to the bill and it wound up being a non-issue due to selecting BH environmental for the job, but none of the other companies I had out requested payment for the quoting visit.

None of this process was communicated clearly to us. I appreciate the owner's effort to make it right with a refund of the fee. I wouldn't even recommend requesting an estimate from these people. I wish I hadn't. The star is because someone technically came out. They were the only ones who charged a fee to come out, and their inspector spent a total of maybe 50 seconds in the bathroom that had water damage. The person who came out told us would have an estimate within a day, and no estimate. Unlike the other companies that came out, he made no inquiry about the age of the house or mention of required asbestos testing. Overall, his visit did not inspire confidence that any estimate we did get (if we got one) would be valid or accurate (not require change orders). Maybe the reason why some reviewers say they're cheaper is that they cut corners? (We wouldn't know as we never got our estimate.) We were really dissatisfied even with our (extremely brief) visual inspection experience. Communication with respect to the process was not good (as we don't know what's going on). Clearly my short list selection process failed me here. ETA: Apparently they were waiting on payment for the estimate (no one made clear what this process was), which we finally got, and indeed did not include asbestos testing.

I discovered mold in my bedroom and received several bids for the remediation and restoration work…read more The most reasonable quote came from ARG Restoration. Gabriel took the time to walk me through several options based on my budget, clearly explaining the pros and cons of each one. He told me the project would take a little over a week after the mold treatment, but the team finished everything in just four days. The workers were friendly, professional, and took the time to explain what they were doing and why. They also gave me style options for how the room would be put back together. Best of all, the total price ARG charged to tear out the affected areas, treat the mold, and fully restore my bedroom was the same amount another company quoted me just for mold treatment. I was extremely satisfied with their work and would definitely use ARG Restoration again.

The first initial call was great and fast. As the work began, delays started coming up in almost every single process. Before the work began, I mentioned there was a small section of pipe that needed to be redone, and he agreed to do it. As the repair progressed, he didn't address the pipe, and kept telling me someone would be back to do it later on. Work began January 2026, and it is now almost May. Rafael has become super unresponsive, kept scheduling with no shows, and pushing back the repair. Then he just stopped responding altogether. Up to this point the repair still has not been done. ARG Service with Rafael was with an insurance claim. It seems to me like they just don't reply after getting paid. Very unprofessional and irresponsible. I want to recommend ARG and Rafael, but this experience has been frustrating and disappointing

They will make it difficult to understand your bill while overcharging you as much as possible. My insurance agent said they are well known among the insurance community for doing just that. They will also just stop communicating. The workers are good (reason for two stars instead of one), but the project managers and company are very unprofessional and extremely underhanded. I had a large mold problem under an apartment building and at first they were great. Very nice, seemed trustworthy, started promptly with fast and efficient workers. The first problem was when they moved a resident's items out of and back into a small bedroom and living room. They did it before we agreed on a price, or the scope of the work, and then they charged me $9133 (that's not a typo)... and told me they were giving me a deal! They assured me all along that my insurance was great and they would pay for everything. I feel like such a fool for believing their line of BS. Once they did the lion share of the work (which I admit, was done well and quickly), and I paid them on time for the first several bills, they completely ghosted me and my insurance- even though the project wasn't done yet. Their bills say you will pay a penalty for late payment, pressuring you to pay before things can be assessed. This was one of the most stressful times of my life, and I didn't have time to go through the bill and question them, as I was working as hard as possible to do the remodel portion and get my residents back in, so I just paid it. I'm so sorry I did. If you actually look through the price list they make you sign in the beginning, it's bonkers! Need an electrician for an hour? They charge a MINIMUM of 8 hours! They have a person come in to monitor the moisture, takes about an hour- that personal also has an 8 hour minimum! $52 to detach a P-trap under a sink! (Takes less than 5 minutes). They charged me thousands of dollars to hook their drying machines up to the electrical panel! Many of their charges are DOUBLE what insurance allows (which is already generous- I know, because I have a construction background), and even their calculations of the space are lies- up to 25% more than insurance's calculations. They give you a bill that's difficult to asses, so that you have to go back through their price sheet for each type of work, and try to match it to what they actually did. When I brought all of this up in a detailed email they said, well, you already paid. After months of only answering emails after multiple attempts (from me or my. insurance), they sent me another bill for thousands of dollars. My insurance agent replied pointing out many things that were in the bill that they didn't even do. That was 50 days ago, and after multiple emails, they still haven't replied. Hiring PRC was once of the worst financial decisions I've ever made. I feel so taken advantage of and stupid. Save yourself, and go elsewhere.

I had flooding underneath the slab of my home and wasn't sure what the outcome would be--but I expected at least some effort to help in a time of urgency. Servpro made it clear they wouldn't do anything unless they could confirm that the damage would be covered by insurance. Because of that, they didn't leave any humidifiers or offer any kind of temporary support or resources. Thankfully, the next company that came out took a completely different approach. Even without knowing whether it would be covered, they were willing to help, left humidifiers, and showed compassion and professionalism. Ironically, the damage was covered by insurance--so Servpro missed an opportunity to do the right thing and serve a customer in need. I appreciate the companies that are willing to step up even in uncertain situations.
