We had a pretty bad mold problem while trying to fix our plumbing leak. The plumber recommended Kyle at Paul Davis. He came the next day (on New Year's Day) and we were told we have black mold that needs to be removed. Before the construction, we needed to check for asbestos, and after the result came back negative, Jose came out and finished the job in 2-3 hours. I worked with Jose and Kyle when we had water damage at our place. They came within a couple hours after we called and stayed until 10:30 pm to get their equipment set up. We were scheduled to have termite people come to tent the next day and Kyle and Jose worked with our termite company so tenting could happen on schedule. They were very easy to work with. I found Paul Davis after researching and getting estimates from various restoration and reconstruction companies. After a lack of accountability from the Insurance Company and their policy changes and exclusion language to exempt themselves of any responsibility of a black water leak that caused mold damage that neither they, the department of insurance or the hoa or the adjacent homeowner would take any responsibility for. The open claim sat for a year while the mold damage was getting worse. Fortunately I was able to gain cooperation eventually from the homeowner and eventually a non-hostile hoa who gave the green light to Paul Davis Restorarion move forward with the woek. After meeting with Henry multiple times and Kyle, I felt confident not only about their highly detailed and comprehensive estimate but that they really worked with me under the circumstances. Henry went the extra mile to do an excellent job and his team of expert workers were conciencious, professional and did excellent work. I contacted Paul Davis Restoration to check under my crawl space for mold, because we recently had leaks and had to replace all of our old drain. The inspector/estimator showed up on time and was very professional and friendly. He inspected my entire crawl space and found no signs of water or mold except a small section of wet drywall behind my kitchen sink. He suggested a method where I could fix it myself. We tried to call them several times and they would either say they would call us back (and didn't) or not answer.
