I like the bed, unfortunately every other aspect of this company is terrible. Delivery and assembly is mandatory and costs $199 extra. The team they sent me didn't "have the right tools" when they arrived, and had to go back to the warehouse before returning, 3-4 hours later. Completely wasted my day. When they arrived they realized "oops parts of the frame are cracked and the frame need to be replaced. oopsie". They come back the next day and arrive 4 hours later than the time they had told me. The company has no phone number, which tells you all you need to know. They don't want to deal with you. I emailed a ton to complain and got a few bucks off the fee in mid-December. I was told it would be processed ASAP. Here we are in January and nothing has been done. Do NOT give this company your business. read more

They cancelled my order without sending an email or a text. I just had to figure it out by checking my bank statement. Not one word of communication. They just opted to cancel my order. I'm guessing, they cancelled it because the shipping fee they charged me was too low. But how is that my fault? The least they could have done was call or email to explain the issue, or requested additional shipping payment. Every other furniture website either codes their shipping cost to item weight/size and zipcode, automatically declines transactions for areas outside their shipping zone, OR indicates that the customer must request a shipping quote. This business does none of the above and doesn't even bother to warn customers. I would have bought something else from another store if I had known they had cancelled. read more

I've been looking for a couch for quite some time. I went to multiple stores and just wasn't able to find a couch that would look nice and would actually be comfortable to sit on. After seeing a commercial on instagram for Create Comforts I thought to myself "those couches look great but I would never buy a couch online", only to find out that they have a showroom in Red Hook, Brooklyn. To my surprise, the furniture that Create Comforts sells looks SO MUCH BETTER IN PERSON. But most importantly, they have multiple options of firmness, sizes and style that will probably satisfy even a picky shopper like myself. In addition to that, Dima who met me at the store was very knowledgeable, understanding and helpful without pressuring me into making any decisions. I decided to go with the Hilton sofa with ottoman that was available for delivery pretty much next day. (!!!) The delivery team showed up on time, unpackaged and carefully installed my beautiful sofa and checked every corner of it to see that it is spotless. I am very grateful for my experience and recommend this store to anyone who is looking for style and comfort. Overall 10/10 experience and love my beautiful sofa!!!! read more

So I will say this is my second time purchasing from create comfort and they have continued to impress! This week they delivered a brand new couch, rug and lamp (the fastest I've ever gotten furniture delivered). The delivery was effortlessly coordinated and everything was unpacked nicely. In terms of the actual furniture... The couch is excellent quality. Super comfy, clean and durable. Literally same quality as west elm or cb2 (probably better for fraction of the cost!) The rug feels so luxe! I am actually shocked at the quality. I feel I can sit on my rug and be comfortable. The lamp is great too! The design and quality is super modern and matches perfectly. Customer service is horrible. I was told i was outside the assembly zone and i responded asking to refund the $200 assembly fee and possibly continuing with the order. Instead the rep told me that they were paying extra already to ship to me, which that is not my problem? And then they canceled my order and would not escalate me to a manager. this was a negative experience and very disappointing. Ive seen other reviews with this same issue. Ordered two rugs, they were supposed to be delivered TWICE, and they are still not here. This has been a waste of my time. The rugs were supposed to be delivered within a four-hour window. Towards the end of the window I emailed to confirm they would be coming; he wrote back that there was a problem at the warehouse and they would come the next day (within a four-hour window). The next day, towards the end of the four-hour window, I call to confirm they are coming and they tell me there is another problem with the warehouse and they can't deliver today. (And no apology). I've already wasted hours of my time waiting for them, and they never even had the courtesy to notify me. It was only when I reached out to them I found out they weren't coming when they said they would. Let's see if these rugs actually are delivered. We will never shop here again. read more

I would leave 0 stars if I could. I had put aside a piece of furniture on hold with a deposit to be delivered for this month. Today when I followed up and wanted to make payment to have the item shipped, they responded with a quick "I'm sorry we cannot deliver your piece at this time" and refunded me the deposited amount. I asked why and they didn't respond. When I asked again they said that the delivery would be $500 and opted not to send. I asked, "wouldn't that be up to me who is paying for the shipping?". They ignored my message again. I wrote a couple hours later saying I was still interested in the piece and happy to pay for the shipping.. they said they would order a new piece. I asked, what happened to the original piece I had placed a deposit for. Again, no answer. I'm disappointed that people would go about business this way. I paid for an item and scheduled pick up for three days later. Within those three days the item was sold to someone else. For a company that deals on a "first come, first served basis" you should be able to communicate to your small staff that an item has been sold; it takes a computer click. No attempt was made to remedy the situation. No attempt to find another of the same item and no mention of contacting us first if another came. Just a refund and a "we sold it to someone else." Additionally, when I wrote this on their Instagram page my comment was deleted and I was blocked. I wonder how many other unsatisfied customer's comments have been censored? I had to give 1 star.
