I ordered the pulled pork sandwich that was on special and went with fried onions on the sandwich at the suggestion of the counter attendant. Also ordered a chocolate malt. The sandwich was disappointing, very stingy on the amount of pork, and very little seasoning made for a tasteless bite. Various condiments were available at the counter and helped to add some flavor. It came with a small serving of Cole slaw, creamy style and very typical taste wise. The chocolate malt was very good, could actually taste the malt unlike other custard places offering a malted drink. The bill came to $14.48 including taxes. Maybe their burgers are better but not sure I would revisit this establishment again.

The pricing is appropriate. I believe the entire location is ADA accessible which is nice for everyone to enjoy. Stopped here last night on a motorcycle ride cuz I'd heard nothing but good things about the place…read more I was SORELY disappointed! First, the place is cash only...had to find an ATM nearby before we could even order. We couldn't order at the counter ourselves, and had to wait for a one of the car hop girls to take our order. It was busy, so we expected to wait a bit. Ordered a cheeseburger with ketchup, brat, 2 orders of fries, a vanilla shake and a chocolate shake. Food shows up after 15 minutes, and the bill is just over $28. They forgot the brat, the burger was only as thick as the slice of unmelted cheese on it, and was drenched in ketchup...slid apart as soon as I picked it up. Fries were okay, shakes were pretty good. All said and done, nothing to get excited about. We'll probably never be back. Overpriced, not great food. Save your money and go someplace else.

(Given, we were only looking for custard and not a full meal.) The service was fast and friendly. They did turn the lights off about 10 minutes after close. The place itself is super cute. The menu seems pretty varied. I can't wait to go back!

Jumbo buns, tiny burgers…read more I feel bad for burger joints as they are getting squeezed by the meat packers for no good reason other than they can get away with raising prices as high as they want (and no amount of can-grade ground meat anonymously imported from who knows where is going to help...if anything that is more a reason not to buy burgers or ground beef unless you know the source) . Considering beef prices are not coming down anytime soon, if ever, I think Murf's need to address the situation better than just slapping a small, dry, overcooked burger on a huge bun. For example, drop the tiny Single and Double patty menu items (you're only going to disappoint diners) and go with a Jumbo and Junior burger instead. Get a smaller bun for the Junior and don't overcook the meat. Then double the patty size for the Jumbo (one big patty is less likely to get overcooked and more satisfying to bit into - think Oscar's). They also need to deliver quality and value where they can afford to do it. There is no reason that the fries are undercooked and under-seasoned. The condiments are mediocre, and the custard thin. We still cleaned out plates, but the table was unanimous that we will go elsewhere next time because so many other burger joints deliver higher quality and value overall.

The big thing: I just thought it was super gross that the employees who were preparing the ice cream treats/cones were not using gloves; the kiddie cones didn't have a paper slip since it was too small, but the waffle cones did, and the employees were still handling it incorrectly. UGH. I'm glad I was able to check this place out, but the sanitary situation was just a bit too much for me. +gloveless handling of ice cream/cones
