Very good ice cream, even though I'm not sure how exactly the liquid nitrogen helps it to taste better, it is delicious. It is very also very pricey, I usually go with my family of 4(including myself) and it runs up to $30 and that's for the smallest size available. The Strawberry Bond is my go to read more

Pretty cool Ice cream parlor in Irving. This was my first visit and I really thought that the nitrogen gas was a cool part of making the ice cream and it really gives you that making ice cream in the chemistry lab feel. Pretty awesome! I had the party animal which is no longer on the menu.. which is sad because it's so good! The vanilla ice cream is so amazing and it had chunks of animal cookies inside and they topped it with whipped cream. My inner kid was so satisfied I will be back to try other things on the menu. It is a Sunday so it was pretty packed I would recommend coming on a week day and not a weekend if you don't want to wait in line. read more

Great texture/consistency. Creamy and thicc with 2 c's. Really appreciate how all of the toppings are mixed into the cream with the mixer; homogenous. The premium base was great and not too sweet. They make blasting nitrogen a show, but if it does really help with the creamy consistency, then so be it. The price point is a on the higher end, but you will be paying for a premium product. Love their ice creams! All flavors I have tried so far are good. I miss the orange which was one of my favorites but is not on the menu anymire. This time the service was incredibly slow. When your shop was closed by the health department I hoped you'd close for good. Your store is filthy and you are a terrible neighbor in the shopping complex. Some of the best ice cream I've ever had! They have all of their flavors non-dairy for those who need/want it. I tried the Elemint with coconut base and it had a solid mint flavor that wasn't overpowering. My companions tried the speculoos overload, which was also incredible, and the smores, which was also good. It's good ice cream, you really can't go wrong. This ice cream is for the experience, not necessarily the taste. The freezing smoke that occurs when your ice cream is being made is cool. I also appreciated the non-dairy ice cream options. I had the carmel ice cream made with cashew milk. I originally wanted coconut milk but was informed by the staff that certain milk is better with certain flavors. My ice cream was merely ok. The experience is cool and everyone should visit once but I prefer Coldstone, Marble slab, or Azucar in Deep Ellum for a regular ice cream craving. read more

We just left there on a Friday night 3/18 at 7:30 pm and the place is a management disaster, that is because there is no management or ownership present. The highlight of the evening was watching an employee from the back of the house go somewhere else to go to the bathroom because the bathrooms were so filthy. When we walked in, we went right to the counter, and we were waited on immediately. It took35 minutes to get the 1 item we ordered, We watched one lady cancel her order. there were 2 people behind the counter and they were having a good time and talking a lot to each other, but then a the lady cancelled her order and they got angry. Then finally 2 more people showed up behind the counter. It was clear there was no management or ownership leadership. This place is destined to fail read more

Former Worker here ! Wow just wow . Everything about this Creamistry location is bad . From management to the service. For starters the interview process was literally just them asking when I was available to work and there was never actual training being done . The manager never cared to greet me into the staff or show me around. It's filthy in the back, they have a night crew to clean up for them so they are that as an excuse to leave it DISGUSTING. Very unruly , no wonder they constantly have to find new workers. Overall just not a good establishment, I'm so glad I left. After 2 weeks the manager docked my pay down to 7.50 for "losing me lots of money" I wish this place gets some serious help . It's a mess read more

I am not a big ice cream person but this place makes me want to come back for more. I love that I can customize my ice cream and choose any toppings I want. Plus, the experience of seeing nitro ice cream in the making is really cool. I am really happy with what I got ( the matcha ice cream in waffle bowl). It has the right amount of sweetness and I notice this ice cream takes longer to melt ( even under 100 degrees in Dallas). Since this place is more on the expensive side, I'll save this for some special occasions. read more

So after a feast at pluckers we decided to get dessert for Valentine's Day. I had seen a lot of pictures on Instagram of this place but had yet to try it out. As soon as we got there we were greeted and helped out immediately (the confusion in our faces probably gave it away). We went ahead and ordered the Cashew Milk for Base, Strawberry for Flavor and topped it off with Fresh Strawberries and Cookie Dough in a cup with a Waffle Cone. During the summer, ice cream is a welcome relief from that hot Texas sun. Having an ice cream shop within walking distance from my apartment on Lake Carolyn, is a dream come true. After waiting a couple long hellish weeks to make that dream a reality; my roommate and I made the trek to Creamistry. We were very excited to try out this latest addition to the "nitro" everything fad, as nitro beer and nitro coffee are basically the smoothest drinks known to man. The shop itself and the ice cream did not disappoint. The location is ideal for strolling up, grabbing a cone, and taking in the lake in all it's glory. The staff is friendly, very helpful and watching the ice cream being made was very cool. As one would expect from Nitro, the ice cream was smooth and very delicious. The only reason for the middle of the road star rating was the PRICE. Heavens to Mergatroy was it expensive. A normal cup of ice cream at a good ice cream shop is typically not more than $5. But $8?? Nitro is cool, but I can't justify spending $8 on a measly cup of ice cream. Worth a try, but probably won't be a place I'll be frequenting. read more

I admit, I'm a big sucker for liquid nitrogen ice cream. It's so fun to watch them make it right in front of you! Cream is try offers a huge selection for customization, but if too many choices seem overwhelming, they also have signature items to choose from. The ice cream itself is unbelievably rich and creamy. I can't understand how they get that texture from liquid nitrogen! It also isn't overly sweet, which makes it a delicious treat! There are a couple of other bases if you're lactose intolerant or just don't want a dairy base. But if milk sits well with you, the signature premium base is amazing. Definitely worth a visit! read more

So, I have no option but to go there as my kid insists. 1st Time: Mangonada Ice cream not available 2nd Time: Employee mentioned that there is a wait time of 50 minutes ( not sure why because I see not much of customers waiting or in line before me) 3rd Time: The payment system is not working and we are asked to come after one hour. There's currently one poor girl behind the counter frantically making orders last time I was here in the summer the workers were clearly over worked and literally sweating in the ice cream. Came here at noon on a Saturday and they told us they ran out of milk ???? How are you going to be an ice cream shop and not have milk to make ice cream lol. Went another time during the week and they said they didn't have scoops because they all broke and someone was buying some and it would be an hour wait !!!!!!! It seems the staff doesn't care about their customers. They act like they are annoyed by their job. This use to be a great place to come eat some yummy ice cream, we live in the area so we would frequently come. But unfortunately the new staff is very rude and irresponsible. If you are running low on something, you need to make sure you buy more BEFORE it runs out. The place is always dirty and disorganized. Most of the staff are teenagers who don't interact with the customers and are goofing off in the back. My wife can't have dairy so she asked for a coconut milk based ice cream and even after specifying that she cannot have dairy, they still got her order incorrectly and made it with a dairy based. When she went back and told them, there was no apology. Very unprofessional. It's a true shame the staff is ruining this once great ice cream spot. I hope the manager or corporate office reads this and does something about it. read more

I waited the 30 mins and came back inside only to find that he was more than willing to take the orders of his friends. I waited another 20 mins to order and when they finally started to make mine they informed me that they couldn't make half of what I ordered. No apology no nothing just "we can't make this what do you want?" They are so rude and unprofessional!!! To drive all the way here to be disrespected and not get what we payed for. Unacceptable! Cake slices are good, not too sweet, and affordable compared to its well-known Asian bakery stores like 85C, PB, etc. I got the Oreo cheesecake and it was yummy, except no trace of cheesecake was found. The girls working looked like they hate their lives and radiated that energy off to me. Meh.

I went to creamistry this Saturday and I was very displeased with the atmosphere. While trying to make an order with the cashier the other boys were just horse playing in our sight while an african american gentlemen was hard at work in the backhouse doing dishes I believe. The cashier gave me a sassy attitude when I interrupted his conversation with another employee because the line was very backed up. It took about 20 minutes to get my icecream and in the proccess the countertops were messy and the employees seemed to not much pay my ice cream any mind. The amount of disregard for the customers right in front of the workers in the front end is terrible and I dont think I will be coming back anytime. read more

Creamistry is such a cool spot for anyone who loves ice cream with a twist! Watching the liquid nitrogen process is half the fun -- it's like a little science show while your dessert is made fresh right in front of you. The ice cream itself is super creamy and rich, with plenty of flavors and mix-ins to customize your treat exactly how you like it. The store is clean and modern, and the staff are friendly, though service can take a bit longer since everything is made to order. Still, the quality and freshness make it worth the wait. Overall, Creamistry is a fun and tasty experience that's perfect for families, dates, or anyone looking to try something different from your usual ice cream shop. read more

I was shocked to find that a single cup of ice cream costs $11 here. The price seems exorbitant considering the portion size and quality. For the same amount, you could easily get two generous cups at Braum's, which offers better value. If you're looking for a more satisfying ice cream experience without breaking the bank, I'd recommend heading to 31 Flavors or Braum's instead. read more

Dumont Creamery & Cafe

Dumont Creamery & Café is a tasty café and ice cream franchise located right off of 635 in between…read moreIrving and Coppell. If you live in the area, you now have another great option for creative ice cream flavors and coffee. My Overall Rating - 4 Stars (Atmosphere, Service, Food, Return) Atmosphere - High ceilings, modern seating, and a very welcoming feel sum up my first impression. Ice cream may be what draws people to Dumont, but the inside has a mature coffee shop atmosphere vs. a candy store. We were the only patrons on my weekday visit, which is a good thing if you want to sample flavors.....1 Star. Service - .... because the staff was so nice (and there were no other customers), I was able to try any flavor I wanted. The Dumont staff member was super friendly and patient, and I felt at ease. 1 Star. Food - Sampling flavors is a big deal, because Dumont has some of the most unique flavors and names. I tried Filter Coffee, Ferrero, Oreo Caramel Fudge, and Vanilla Bean (they all tasted like their names). But I settled on Biscoff. Not only did it taste like a cold, creamy Biscoff cookie, but it also paired perfectly with an espresso. This Creamery + Coffee idea might work out pretty well. 1 Star. Will I Return? - YES. I had reservations before visiting this franchise, but one bite of the Biscoff flavored ice cream and I was sold. It's a little out of the way for me, but it's definitely worth the trip. Yes, I'll be back. 1 Star.

Service aside, the ice cream flavors are spot on. We got butter pecan and boy was it buttery with a nice pecan taste. My fave is the "butter pecan port of call". I had the dark chocolate flavor the next time we came and asked for cookie dough mix-in. The ice cream itself was still very good but I would not recommend the cookie dough mix-in. We're from Vegas and we don't have a Marble Slab here so I'm very bummed. I'm looking forward to the next opportunity to visit another location!
