This was my first visit and I really thought that the nitrogen gas was a cool part of making the ice cream and it really gives you that making ice cream in the chemistry lab feel. Pretty awesome! I had the party animal which is no longer on the menu.. which is sad because it's so good! The vanilla ice cream is so amazing and it had chunks of animal cookies inside and they topped it with whipped cream. My inner kid was so satisfied I will be back to try other things on the menu. I tried the Elemint with coconut base and it had a solid mint flavor that wasn't overpowering. For starters the interview process was literally just them asking when I was available to work and there was never actual training being done . The manager never cared to greet me into the staff or show me around. It's filthy in the back, they have a night crew to clean up for them so they are that as an excuse to leave it DISGUSTING. Plus, the experience of seeing nitro ice cream in the making is really cool. I am really happy with what I got ( the matcha ice cream in waffle bowl). So after a feast at pluckers we decided to get dessert for Valentine's Day. I had seen a lot of pictures on Instagram of this place but had yet to try it out. During the summer, ice cream is a welcome relief from that hot Texas sun. Having an ice cream shop within walking distance from my apartment on Lake Carolyn, is a dream come true. After waiting a couple long hellish weeks to make that dream a reality; my roommate and I made the trek to Creamistry. We were very excited to try out this latest addition to the "nitro" everything fad, as nitro beer and nitro coffee are basically the smoothest drinks known to man. The shop itself and the ice cream did not disappoint. The location is ideal for strolling up, grabbing a cone, and taking in the lake in all it's glory. The staff is friendly, very helpful and watching the ice cream being made was very cool. As one would expect from Nitro, the ice cream was smooth and very delicious. The only reason for the middle of the road star rating was the PRICE. Heavens to Mergatroy was it expensive. A normal cup of ice cream at a good ice cream shop is typically not more than $5. But $8?? Nitro is cool, but I can't justify spending $8 on a measly cup of ice cream. Worth a try, but probably won't be a place I'll be frequenting. read more

I admit, I'm a big sucker for liquid nitrogen ice cream. It's so fun to watch them make it right in front of you! Cream is try offers a huge selection for customization, but if too many choices seem overwhelming, they also have signature items to choose from. The ice cream itself is unbelievably rich and creamy. I can't understand how they get that texture from liquid nitrogen! It also isn't overly sweet, which makes it a delicious treat! There are a couple of other bases if you're lactose intolerant or just don't want a dairy base. But if milk sits well with you, the signature premium base is amazing. This is my first One starrer review ever. I went there with my kid for 3 times this week. I called them to check every time before I go there. Not even once did they picked my call. So, I have no option but to go there as my kid insists. 1st Time: Mangonada Ice cream not available 2nd Time: Employee mentioned that there is a wait time of 50 minutes ( not sure why because I see not much of customers waiting or in line before me) 3rd Time: The payment system is not working and we are asked to come after one hour. Came here at noon on a Saturday and they told us they ran out of milk ???? How are you going to be an ice cream shop and not have milk to make ice cream lol.
