I've been eating here occasionally for 6 or 7 years, never a significant problem. Ate there a few weeks ago on recommendation of a friend. Absolutely worst crawfish I have ever had. Absolutely no seasoning and no salt ( and I don't like salty things!) Friend wanted to go there again today and said it was just an off day last time. Today asked a customer if they were good before ordering and she said they were ok but she was visiting from Atlanta and hadn't had a lot of crawfish before. Stopped by here on the drive home back to California. The lady at the front was so sweet and welcoming. She explained everything on the menu. Unfortunately crawfish was out of season but my parents got shrimp and crab cakes. They had a lot of authentic items for sale and of course we bought some to take home. It was my last day in LA on a work trip. I wasn't going to leave LA without having some crawfish. I went for lunch with a couple coworkers that are locals. I wanted to try a little bit of everything so I got the Crawfish platter grilled instead of fried. The étouffée and the grilled tails were the two best items. The grilled tails are blackened, had great flavor and were cooked perfectly. Corn machoux was something that a lot of restaurants in the area had. This was probably one of the better machoux I had. The cornbread was all right; not too much spice. The crawfish pie is a mini pie. It seemed like it was the étouffée in a pie crust instead of over rice. Not bad but the etouffee was better. The boulette is kind of like a crawfish cake. It was a little on the dry side. It was a good amount of food. I only needed a snack for dinner because I was still full. I don't think I'll make it a point to go back but if I'm already in the area I would go back. read more

Our server I believe her name was Alex recommended to me the strawberry daiquiri, and it did not disappoint. I had a pound of the crawfish boiled with corn.!!!! it was amazing!!! The crawfish were so juicy a little on the small side but the flavor was out of this world! (Spicy just like I like it! ) My husband got the fried sampler which consisted of fried crawfish, alligator, oysters, and shrimp. He got the small portion and said that was enough for him for lunch!!! The food was so good. We ended up going back again, and our server was Landon. It was apparent that he was just learning, but he was not only helpful in answering some questions, he was super polite, very attentive and did a great job.... on this second visit, my husband got the same thing he had the first time lol and I tried the snow crab and shrimp boil. "Crazy Bout Crawfish" has crazy good food and crazy good service. We stopped there last night while driving through to Livingston and had some of the best crawfish and Gumbo that I've ever had. Our service was impeccable and our waitress, Morgan, was moving so fast I thought she was twins. It was so good That while driving back from Livingston tonight we stopped again and once again, the food was awesome and Morgan service was fantastic. The boiled crawfish has a unique garlicky taste with a touch of sweetness that is unique but awesome. You may want to stop in Lafayette because it's a bigger town, but Breaux Bridge has one of the best restaurants in the south. Don't forget to ask Morgan. read more

We're told that it was not the restaurant's fault because we should not have ordered off the website because it was faulty. Basically MY fault for not opening up every single order to check! What a lucky find. I have had to drive between Houston and South FL. One day I wanted to stop someplace in Lousiana and grab a bite to eat. I just happened across this place and boy howdy am I happy I did. The price was right and the flavors were outstanding. They give you good portions and have a fast'ish kitchen. There servers are friendly if not overly talkative. I only with I had discovered them month back when I starts having to drive back and forth so much. I have been to this place many times, and I have loved every bite, but today was disappointing. Our tea was sour when they brought it to the table. Could they not smell that in the kitchen? The gumbo was old. It tasted like last weeks gumbo. About two tiny shrimp and some dried out bits of crawfish maybe? It was hard to tell what that brown bits were. Mostly spicy broth. The shrimp salad was good, but for almost $20 for a salad, the ranch should be homemade. We ordered the a seafood appetizer to share, and it was okay, but I am Not sure it was $35 worth of anything. My husband and to came to eat here while our electric car charged in the Walmart parking lot. Soileau was our waiter and he was amazing! He was very warm, welcoming, and attentive. The food was delicious! We had the crawfish cornbread as an appetizer. The cornbread was moist and tasty and the crawfish sauce on top was FIRE! We then shared a shrimp festival platter. Everything tasted great, but the stuffed shrimp were my favorite. They use REAL crabmeat in the seafood stuffing. I was still hungry after the sharing the platter and ordered the Gator Bait (burger & fries). The meat patty was seasoned so well it taste like the burgers I make for myself at home! The service was great, the food was cooked perfectly and it was chock full of Cajun atmosphere from the Zydeco music to the crawfish decor! My husband wanted local Cajun food, and we got it!
