Me and my friends went in for a nice breakfast when we entered everything was fine until we walked to our table and we're stared down by the employees. The whole time we were eating they continued to give us dirty looks. Then while paying I payed with 2 dollar bills one of the employees had to make a comment about me paying with 2 dollar bills. This review is solely based on the service. The food was good, but the service was very poor. We were the only ones in the restaurant (group of 3) and there were 3 people working standing there in front of us talking. The food came out fast, but not 1 person asked how our food was or if we needed anything else, which I did. The ketchup was empty and they watched us squeeze the last drop out and grab another off the table and didn't say anything or offer to grab another one for us. Our drinks were empty and our waitress failed to ask if we wanted another, and then the waitress brings the check out in the middle of us eating, which I think is ridiculously rude without asking if we wanted anything else and we just felt rushed. As a frequent through the years we have supported this business, up until today , 1st customers of the day ! in no way do we blame the two workers behind the counter , and understandable at this time businesses are suffering from the pandemic, but completely understaffed , waited for 50 minutes as we watched a customer who arrived 20 minutes after us receive their food , while we waited with empty coffee mugs . First time here can definitely be super overwhelming with all the different combinations of coffees possible. The staff is super nice though and helpful. Food menu is just as big and filled with some awesome creative food. Counter seating, booths, or tables which is a good accommodation for everyone as well. We got a avocado blt, pancake quesadilla and 2 iced lattes for $36 so it's also reasonably priced. The food is HUGE and the lattes were perfect ! I hate anything over sweet and when I mentioned that they made sure it was perfect and even offered to give me something different if I didn't like how it came out which is awesome. Took my girlfriend here for brunch on a Sunday afternoon was greeted by an extremely rude host. Although the food and coffee is always amazing here her attitude was a complete turn off. The OG best breakfast place on Long Island! They have the best and cutest lattes ever! While I have been to both this location and the Stony Brook location, this one is the best! We love the Miller Place Crazy Beans the only thing is know that they close kind of early and there aren't many tables so allow for time. Once I had called for reservations and they said they don't take them. You have to go there sign in and wait. Exceeded my expectorations in every category. The special coffee drinks were terrific, the food was creative, delicious and fresh. The decor is super cute, the waitress was very sweet and attentive. My daughter comes here regularly w friends and said the wait is usually longer (we went late morning on a Sunday), but we got a table right away. The coffee here is always amazing and it was a big hit for everyone in my party. The only thing that went wrong was finding something in my food twice , not sure what kind of hair , maybe fuzz but it still was gross to see after I ate some of my wrap. I would give this place five stars if I didn't see that. I live very close to this location and had wanted to go after they re-opened. A few weeks ago my boyfriend and I decided to go for breakfast. There were several couples cramped by the doorway waiting. Visibly we could only see three employees in the dining area. The girl behind the counter seemed especially overwhelmed. We stood there along with everyone else for a good 15 minutes while no employee came over to help us or give us a wait time. It felt like we were all being ignored. Today we decided to give crazy beans a try again. This time, nobody was waiting. After walking in, we were finally asked how many. The girl came from behind the counter and offered to put us on a list. She stated it would be 20 minutes. There were visibly two seats open at the counter and a booth with dirty plates and a check. She didn't even offer to clean the table off for us or offered us to sit upfront. We just walked out. We will never come to this location again. We live less than 5 minutes away. If I do give crazy beans a shot in the future, it would be at another location. Seems like this location needs more staff or better trained associates. read more

So I'm at the hair salon apparently down the road from this place (I'm not from around here) and I was looking to DoorDash something because I was starving so I look and see Crazy Beans. Now, I'm from out East and usually go to the Greenport location, so I knew the food would be good. Boy was I wrong....IT WAS INCREDIBLE! I ordered the rueben sandwich with French fries and this sandwich has got to be AT LEAST 4lbs!!! It's HUGE! Can definitely share it with someone. The side of fries was also HUGE! The portions are impressive, especially in a world where most charge more money for less food. Now let's talk about the delivery and quality of food....the service was VERY speedy thanks to them and my DoorDash driver, Frank! But what was surprising was how PIPING HOT my food was and the fries were even still crispy! Great new spot for breakfast or lunch. I love the funky, eclectic decor. The food is fresh, coffee excellent and cappuccino outstanding. Also, Shannon is the friendliest and most efficient waitress I've come across in years, she does a great job of making customers feel welcome. I have never been a fan of hot coffee, no matter how the weather is, but this is the only place, that made me a fan of hot coffee, there food is delicious.
